Moyer is amazing. I came here to find my wedding band after I already had my engagement ring. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted, but Kim was so patient with me and let me try on basically every wedding band in the store. I went back for the Bridal Extravaganza that Moyer hosted and it was so fun! Not only did I enjoy the mimosas, but I also got to browse the other jewelry Moyer has to offer(beautiful). I highly recommend Moyer if you’re looking for jewelry for any occasion!

I’m not just excited I’m engaged, I promise. Of course I am, but my fiancé and I looked at plenty of jewelry stores on the journey to engagement. And by «plenty of» I mean«every one in the Indianapolis area.» At some, I found nice rings. At others, the people were great but the rings weren’t. Some of them were just terrible. Then, there was Moyer. It was my dream store from the moment we walked in – it was obvious that they sold amazing jewelry, but they didn’t let it get to their heads. We got there with only a few minutes to look, but they were kind and cordial and told us to come back when we had more time, so we did. We unintentionally spent at least an hour with Bill last July, and enjoyed every minute. He let me try on any and every ring that stuck out to me in an effort to narrow down what I wanted, and kept us chatting about every topic under the sun. He respected my wishes to not know the price of the ring, but carefully showed them to my then-boyfriend and explained different price options that could raise or lower the cost of rings that interested me. Basically, he rocked. So much so that my fiancé ended up at Moyer, instead of buying my ring at a jewelry store in the Chicago area, where he lives. We were truly that impressed with the service and quality(and genuine kindness) of the folks here. I love my ring, but I also love knowing it was from a locally owned jewelry store who genuinely cares about their customers. I could not be more happy!

I originally bought my wife’s engagement/wedding band at Moyer approximately 14 years ago. My concern deals with a recent interaction my wife had with store personnel. For reasons unknown, one of the stones in her wedding band would not stay in the setting. We had kept the ring in a secure location as my wife was not able to wear it for some time due to swelling of her finger joints. Because I had bought the ring from Moyer’s originally, my wife decided to visit the store and inquire about possible repairs and the cost associated with same. As she explained the issues to the sales professional including the fact that she had not been able to wear the ring, the individual immediately began questioning the veracity of my wife’s claim of not being able to wear the ring. My wife was confused and surprised at such comments in that she was there to get an estimate for making repairs to the ring. She was not there to discuss the circumstances regarding her ability to wear/not wear the ring. The sales professional went on with this for some time until finally offering an estimate for repairs. That said, why the sales associate felt compelled to continue questioning the veracity of my wife’s statement is an unknown. Without even taking time to inspect the ring and offer a possible repair solution, the sales professional provided an estimate that seemed at first glance, to be inordinately high. Interestingly enough, he advised that he had revised his original estimate down 30% as a favor to a former customer. My wife thanked him for his time and immediately exited the store. We are getting two additional estimates from other jewelers relative to repairs needed on the ring. With respect to Moyer, I must admit to being somewhat surprised at the apparent lack of customer service by this particular individual. While I have no regrets about the ring I purchased years ago, I will have to think twice about shopping at Moyer for any future jewelry purchases based on the experience my wife had with the sales professional.

To sum it up, every time I stopped in to browse I received top-notch customer service. I have purchased several items at reasonable prices, and not to mention beating their competitors. I recommend anyone in the market for jewelry. Here are just a few items purchased: Tacori, Breitling, Michael M, loose ruby, pearls. Moyer is the best jeweler in town. Not only do their diamonds sparkle more than any other. They give you the best value for the money. I know from experience as I have purchased many pieces of fine jewelry. There staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will help you find the best quality for the price range you are looking for.

My boyfriend(now fiancé) came in here looking for engagement rings with a set budget in mind. While the staff was very friendly they kept showing us things that were way out of our price range. Although the rings were beautiful, we couldn’t understand why they kept showing us stuff that we couldn’t afford. We ended up finding a ring elsewhere but I would recommend this place is you have either a large or unlimited budget.

Was recommened Moyer by multiple friends. My intention was to purchase an engagement ring and two wedding bands. The service and care they gave my fiancé and I was top notch while we were in the store on our first visit. After getting help in designing a custom engagment ring and divulging our budget, we were happily on our way and had scheduled a 2nd visit to view the potential rings after Moyer had the chance to ship them in. The 2nd visit is where things became dissapointing. We received great customer service again, but every ring(3) they had shipped in was twice our budget or higher. The rep who helped us on our 2nd visit was not the same rep from the first visit and claimed that a ring of our design could not fit within our budget and recommended we either change our design or increase our budget. At this point we left and looked elsewhere and were pleased to find a competitor in Indianapolis that was able to give us a ring with the same design that was within our budget. While I don’t think we were ‘lied’ to or intentionally misled by Moyer, it was apparent that the rep was more interested in a sale than customer satisfaction and a future relationship. Weddings are prone to making couples vulnerable to over-spending and quick decision making and the engagement ring is a common starting point. We found it important to be frugal and thorough with our decision making and were rewarded when shopping around. Our advice would be to always question the rep no matter where you shop and make sure that you get a 2nd opinion. Overall, Moyer will take care of you and is very knowledgeable, but it is quite possible the premium the customers are paying if funding the extras(wine, food, events, etc.).

I came here to find an engagement ring for my girlfriend. The service was great and extremely helpful. I wasn’t too sure of the whole diamond buying process when I went in and the sales person helped me pick out a very nice diamond that I know that my girlfriend will absolutely love. I would definitely recommend this place!

I discovered Moyer while in search of a nearby jeweler to re-size one of my rings — my engagement ring, actually. We were both so impressed with their friendly, non-pressure style that we became customers. Though we’ve not purchased a great deal from this store, it would be our first choice were we in the market for something special. Neither hubby nor I tend to wear lots of «fine» jewelry apart from our rings and in my case, a few sets of earrings and a handful of necklaces. I tend to favor handmade items, the more ethnic, the better. However, I think the selection and prices at Moyer are very competitive and I appreciate feeling like their number one customer whenever I visit — plus, I really dig the free ring cleaning they offer… I guess every good jeweler does this, but I still appreciate it. And, that little service ensures that I’ll roam around and examine all the trinkets and sparklies. One thing I found here that I would *love* to own: a strand of deep chocolate South Seas pearls — absolutely gorgeous! And they say diamonds are a girl’s best friend!
