My PC froze up and I tried all the things I knew how to try. I had a few knowledgeable people try to fix it also but had to call the experts in on this one. CTC responded quickly, offered a few options for services they offer without any pressure or attempt to upsell additional services. They got my PC restored and running again. Will definitely call on them if needed in the future as well as recommend to friends.

I have a basic knowledge of computer components how they work and where to put them, but I recently purchased a water cooler for my high end gpu, a gtx 980ti, and was nervous about disassembling the gpu so l looked up and talked to a few local computer repair stores. It took a while to find a good place being from NJ where geek squad is capable of building a whole computer for you and knows what they’re doing to coming to the good old Midwest where technicians don’t even know what a water cooler is was quite alarming. I finally called troubleshooters and the owner knew exactly what I was talking about so I immediately brought it in. The first thing he said was you can probably do this yourself without looking much into it which is rare for someone to turn away business and he told me how to do it safely because my main concern was frying the gpu with static. I decided to still let him set it up because I knew there would be spacing issues and there was and so he literally had to think outside of the «box» my computer case and put the water cooler fan on the outside doesn’t look great but my case wasn’t flashy to begin with so I said to go ahead with it. So he did a great job everything is running a lot colder which was the goal and will definitely be going there again for the more difficult pc upgrades. Highly recommended for anyone nervous to mess around inside their computer or just doesn’t have the time.

I brought a damaged computer in for service a few weeks ago and although the unit itself could not be salvaged, CTC was able to extract the most important content from the hard drive and provide it to me on a DVD.
There’s a $ 55.00 diagnostic fee but anything beyond that was reasonable, at least in my case.
They also have a variety of used laptops for sale, although I didn’t check out the inventory as I’d already lined up a replacement.
The CTC service technician I dealt with was friendly and very knowledgeable — I highly recommend them for computer service.
