Brunchies is a solid choice for brunch lovers. Their coffee is fantastic — I don’t know what they do — but it’s so yummy. We tend to always get biscuits and Gravy but everything is solid and quick. Warning — generally waits here On weekend. Pro tip: seat yourself at the counter!

My wife and I have been disappointed in the taste and preparation of breakfast meals recently at Brunchies. Pancakes and Waffles have a strange unpleasant taste. Bacon tastes like it was made hours before and just warmed up. Hash browns are warm but not crispy. They recently lost their long time cook and that may be the reason for the many changes in their food.

Just walked out of Brunchies after sitting for several minutes without being acknowledged and watching the table seated after us get waited on. I dropped off the menus and complained on the way out and only got an «Oh, sorry»!

Here from out of town and was sent to this address expecting to find a different restaurant. Well, that restaurant was gone(moved about 10 years ago) and Brunchies was here instead. We didn’t want to drive to another location so we decided to stay and check it out — so glad we did. It has a nice café feel and you that you don’t expect to get in a newer building. We arrived about 9:00AM Sunday morning and were seated right away and it was pretty full by 9:30. I had a breakfast burrito and my daughter had the Brunchies Big Breakfast. Both meals were good sized, but not massive. Also, both meals were excellent. The service was freight train fast. Not just our, but everybody. Our waitress was very nice, engaged a nice conversation and kept our drinks full. I had decaf coffee and it was some of the best coffee I’ve had from a restaurant in a while. The value was good with our two breakfasts and one coffee coming to $ 22.00. Not cheap, but it was very good food & service. I would recommend it to anyone and will come back when I get the chance.

I eat breakfast here from time to time, it is always a good experience. Nothing fancy, just your basic breakfast and lunch food.

Busy Saturday morning and we only had a 5 minute wait. The place is definitely small and friendly, as are the wait staff. The food was classic, with all of the regular breakfast favorites. I love the fact that you can get a mixed fruit side, or just bananas and berries. Overall, I could find nothing wrong with this place. Great job, Brunchies! We will be back very soon.

We had a very disappointing experience. We had a party of 5, and were told by the young hostess 25 minutes. However, there were only two possible places we could be seated. There was no attempt to reconfigure moveable tables and chairs to accommodate us and after 40 minutes and no sign of effort on anyone’s part, we left. Brunchies has decent food, but it is not well-managed. I would steer clear if you have more than four in your party — or do what we did– buzz down 31 to Le Peep– always fast, friendly, delicious and they go the extra mile for kids, large parties.

My favorite breakfast place ever! Great service! They are willing to change menu items for my super picky son and super picky self!

Since Michael’s in Carmel closed down, this has become our designated go to breakfast spot on Saturday mornings. The servers are very friendly and do a great job. The food is typical short order breakfast food, but it has always been good. I’ve had the biscuits and gravy a few times and recently tried the breakfast burrito. It’s always good. give it a try sometime.

Great place for brunch. I visit it once a week with my co-workers to chat outside the office. We are a loud crowd, however patrons of this place don’t mind and neither employees of Brunchies. Our waitress was lovely and meal was hearty. Though I suspect hash browns were taken from the freezer. This place is highly recommended for the simple egg/potato/bacon breakfast or Belgium waffles.

Terrific friendly service. Most of the items on the lunch menu are great. Got to take off 1 star for pork chops. Too dry. Other than that great place to get together with your colleagues from work to have a meeting.

The service is the only reason for one star, because there is nothing else star worthy at Brunchies. Once the food was served, I was so underwhelmed I thought I might not even eat. There was no flavor in any of the food. The bread was dripping so much butter I couldn’t eat it. The hashbrowns were undercooked. The sausage tasted really odd, not like sausage. I wouldn’t go back at all.

Was starving and looking for a non-McDonald’s this morning and found this place. Ordered a custom-made breakfast sandwich with egg whites, bacon, and cheese on an English Muffin and it hit the spot BIGTIME.

Great place, classic breakfast food done real well, very friendly service! I love the hash browns, and they have some of the best breakfast sausage patties of anywhere I’ve ever been(and trust me I order a lot of sausage patties)! Highly recommend!

I’m not sure what all the hype is about with this place. The food was mediocre at best. I had a skillet with hash browns, eggs, a biscuit, and gravy, and husband has an omelet with french toast. All of the food was edible but I feel like we could have done better cooking at home. My skillet had onions in the hash browns, and they were all in a layer on top of the potatoes. The pieces of onion were huge and twice I got a bite with nothing but onions. The hash browns were underseasoned and undercooked, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the biscuit was very, very unremarkable. We wanted to like this place, but we will not be coming back.

Goodness I am wavering between two stars and three. I see lots of one stars… and boy am I tempted. I give it a 2 because of the hour it’s open. It says that it opens at 6 and it’s hard such an early bird hear on the North side. However, if I am freezing outside in the subzero weather at 6:05AM and the door says open at 6 but is locked… then Houston we have a problem. After flagging someone down from the outside by calling and knocking on the window, we were able to get inside and have ourselves a nice little breakfast. Service-Was a mediocre at best. She kept the coffee full that was about it(lukewarm at that). Hash browns and steak and eggs a hearty portion. I ordered the steak medium it came out medium rare to rare(not quit a cool center). I am all for the little guy…(in this case small chain that has locations in Zionsville, Tampa and Arizona). But in order to compete with Breakfast Big-foots like Bob Evans and Crackle Barrel, I am afraid they’ll have to step up their game. I have been looking for something though that open at 6AM other than Starbucks so I will continue recommending this only based on the hours they are open.

This place is set back in a cozy shopping center, but the experience was less than cozy. First of all, the waiting area to be seated is paltry, at best. If you go during normal brunch times on Saturday/Sunday, be prepared to wait. The food there was good, but expensive for what you received. What was really disappointing was the wait staff and overall customer service. The two individuals we dealt with were less than helpful, and our waitress didn’t come back once to check on us, refill our glasses, and we had to track her down for our ticket since we needed to leave. There are plenty of other places that are cheaper and have better service. I would only go here again if I had to.

It was ok. Nothing special or memorable. Better options in Carmel for same price.

The one and only star is for their service. Corned beef skillet was horribly bland. The eggs were all, either over or under cooked. But they will replace if you complain. The pancakes were very generic. A breakfast place that can’t do breakfast well. How this place remains in business is beyond me.
