Bath Junkie

I attended a friend’s birthday party where we all did the «Scrub-​a-​dub-​dub» package. For $ 30, you get to make your own salt scrub, body spray, and specialty item (I chose the walnut face scrub). The staff is excellent at walking you through every step in the process, from sampling the oils/​fragrances to making sure you are completely happy with the scent once formulated. (You can go back up to the counter to add more if you’re not satisfied.) And you can BYOB, so it’s the perfect setting. Be sure to plan for a couple of hours if your group is 10 or more people.
I will definitely be going back for my refills. Even though it’s alllllllll the way in Carmel. ;)

This place is addictive. I just went for the second time last weekend with a girlfriend for her birthday. Think of it as Bath and Bodyworks on steroids. The quality of the products is wonderful, they’re actually good for your skin versus the «other» place. It doesn’t get any better than mixing and matching custom scents, plus a free hand treatment. Be prepared to spend a bit more, but it’s worth it! Definitely recommend the salt scrub and body dessert!

The perfect place for a GNO, bridal shower, or just a fun shopping experience. The goal is to create your own scent using natural oils and adding it to the bath item of your choice. Options range from lotions, shampoo and conditioners, foot creams, bath salts, bubble baths, etc. The staff here is extremely helpful in assisting you in creating the perfect scent for you and there are TONS of scents to choose from. If trying to create your own scent is a little too overwhelming, or you would like some options to choose from, they do have a menu of various scent combinations. You can further customize your item by choosing a color; for kids there is the option of adding in bath toys and sparkles.
The entire store is a fun experience that allows you to get in touch with your creative side and also offers additional merchandise such as sleep wear, candles, and household items. If you’re in a hurry, they do offer pre-​made bath items that are perfect for last minute gift.

After trying to figure out something to do for a bridal shower it was suggested that we have a spa party at Bath Junkie and it was such a wonderful time. Melissa was so easy to work with and we were able to schedule our party of 8 with a weeks notice. When we arrived to the party Bath Junkie had a wonderful set up for us and we were able to bring in food and wine. The party flowed smoothly and Melissa and her crew were so helpful and hospitable. All the ladies at the party kept talking about how much fun they were having a we all left with two personal products that we loved. It was such a fun time and would be a blast to do again!

I love Bath Junkie! It is a fun and unique place that brings out your creative side. My daughters and I were enjoying the various sites of Caramel when we discovered Bath Junkie and we’ve been hooked ever since. The concept is great!
Choose a base product, such as an unscented lotion, oil, or sea salt scrub. That product will eagerly await the wondrous creation it will become as you joyfully mix and match fragrances to come up with the perfect scent for your chosen toiletry. Once you are satisfied that you have arrived at the proper marriage of scents you notify one of the staff members and they will mix up your creation to your specifications. They will ask you if more of one scent or both scents, etc, need to be added until you determine that your vision for that product has come to fruition. Colors can also be added to customize your creation even further. The staff member will then make a label for the completed product with your name, type of product and the incorporated scents, i.e. Jennifer’s Olive Me Persimmon & Rosemary Mint. To ensure that you won’t forget a beloved scent combination, your name and scents will be kept on file.
We enjoyed our initial experience so much that I brought my sister and brother-​in-​law here when they were visiting, and also brought my husband here for Father’s Day. Additionally, my youngest daughter and I hosted my oldest daughter’s bridal shower here and Bath Junkie did an outstanding job making the shower fun. It was a huge success and the out of town guests kept repeating that they wished a Bath Junkie was near them in their home state of Virginia. So, I suggested they open a franchise. Keep your ears open Virginia residents.
The five star rating is well deserved. The bath products are high quality (the Olive Me oil is one of my personal favorites). The customer service is superb and the concept is one that I have not found anywhere else in the Indy area. You must come and experience this process for yourself. My family and I are now hopeless Bath Junkie junkies.

Just exploring after the farmers market and found this gem. Friendly and passionate staff welcomed this guys guy into their female centric store. I left with an awesome customized bath bomb (Asian rain, fig, & lavender). Could be a great date spot.

Had a bachelorette party here and it was fantastic! The ladies in the shop truely took care of us. We had a party of 8 for the scrub-​a-​dub-​dub package (1 body mist, 1 salt scrub, 1 custom blend product, and 1 bath puffy). Being able to pick out your own scent was the best part and the most overwhelming part! With the 3 different products we could choose 3 different scents or keep them all the same. Once you pick a scent you also get to pick a color for each product. It was so nice they put our names and scents on each product.
The owner was super nice and let us have our party after they closed so we had the whole store to ourselves. We were also able to bring food/​drinks in with us. The scrub-​a-​dub-​dub party took just under 2 hours. $ 30 each for 2 hours of good clean fun on a Saturday night is a pretty good deal to me.
Will definately be back and recommending them for future activities!

I took my granddaughter there for her birthday; she had also bought me some items for Christmas so it was a fun time for all! The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, and the products were great quality! The owner actually helped me decide on what products to by that would appeal to a 14 year old and another staff member helped up on our actual visit the next day. Couldn’t have wished for a better experience! I will definitely be back to this store!!!

I went in not knowing at ALL what to expect from my experience as I’d never been there. I’d been given a gift of body dessert in the past and wanted to see what the place was all about. I also needed a birthday gift for a friend of mine and wanted to get her something different.
When I arrived, the owner greeted me, allowed me to try many of the products that they customize right there in the shop.
Then I proceeded to have her make a custom scent (and color) of body dessert for my friend’s birthday. She even labeled the bottle with my friend’s name and the custom scent that I chose so she could go back and request the same scent when she runs out.
Great product, great service and a very cute and unique shop!

I LOVE this place!!! You create your own bath products from scratch. You pick the scent and color of the bath product. There are so many different products to choose form: body gel, shower gel, exfoliating scrub, etc. They have so many scents its crazy! You can mix and match as many as you like until you get a scent that you want. The staff was extremely helpful and funny. They also have some amazing organic cloth bags that come with almost menthol/​mint type «rocks» inside. They are so amazing to smell and extremely small to keep in your purse. They are sure to clear your sinuses right up :-D. Especially if you have crazy allergies like I do…

Nice atmosphere! Great gift ideas! Very helpful staff. Great place for a baby shower, wedding shower, girls night out! Every scent you could want, color you could want and perfume, lotion or bath salts! You make the choices and personalize it all the way down to the label. Worth your time to visit.

I absolutely love this place. You get to pick the scent and color of your bath products. Making something for a special occasion has never been easier or more fun than going to Bath Junkie and creating something great that someone will appreciate so much because you made it! I like blackberry sage, basiloupe and white tea as an herbal blend. Great for the fabric softener.
The staff is always tremendously helpful and friendly. Melissa is so funny and always has great new creations for people like me. If you’re having a bridal shower, birthday, or any other event, they do fantastic parties as well.

Bath Junkie was so much fun! This shop offers custom bath products that can please anyone.
Step 1– smell the plethora of scents. Pick 1, 2 or 3 scents that make a great combo.
Step 2– pick out a product to make. We made shower gel, shave gel, smelly spray, and hand scrub.
Step 3– pick a color (not everything has that option, but some do like the shower gel)
Step 4– watch them mix it all together and smell your final product
This is such a fun idea and we had a great time, but the projects that they offer are a little on the pricey side. If you are looking for a unique gift for a friend, this would be a great idea to do together. They also have parties for little girls.
I love the products that I made and I will be sad when they are gone since I don’t live close to make more.
