Been here countless times. Rain, sun… you name it I have been here. This place is *gorgeous*. A hidden gem. This is one of my favorite cemeteries due to the remote location and peace and quiet. And being in wine country never hurts. I have never seen a soul out there, and yet it clearly is visited by family members who put flags and other«offerings» on graves. This«Scooby Doo» looking road is actually really pleasant to meander down past some cows and an old rockery pit. I usually park outside the cemetery since there is a ton of room. You go in one more gate to get to the cemetery itself. This cemetery has Oregon Pioneers buried in it. Oh, and a seasonal grave with a Christmas tree on it that has solar lights on it. Next to it is another grave with Mtn Dew and a jar of Mayonnaise on it. You never know what you will find in this cemetery. Off NW McBride Cemetery Road. Open the PLAIN gate with no sign, drive in, and please close the gate after yourself.
