The Story: Came here to meet up with a friend. Food: Ordered sliders, cheese fries and mozzarella sticks. Nothing spectacular, standard average bar food. Price: Between 4 people we spend ~$ 80 and thats with 3 rounds of beers, 2 specialty drinks, 2 rounds of shots and food. Décor: Small place. Cool Juke box. Service: Friendly bartenders. Parking & Finding the Place: I can see why parking is rough but we were lucky to land a spot a block from the place. Additional Thoughts: n/a

I couldn’t feel more at home. Great people, smiling faces AMAZING food!!! Cold beer and hard drinks. Nothing more you could ask for… Except parking. I would like to ask for mor parking :(but to be honest wherever you have to park the walk is worth it. Real Irish pub with a real Irish family. They Always remember your drink and take care of you well. Glad I found this place I go as often as I can!

Great food and nice place to unwind. You just can’t go in for a cocktail. Someone will order a steak and the smell will make you order also.

Neighborhood bar that is very reasonable. Parking is a bit of a hassle, though. Unless you live in Carlstadt, it probably won’t worth the hassle.

This is a great local pub. I enjoy going down here on Thursdays for what my friends have come to know as Blue Moon Thursday. A sort of celebration to the pre-end of the week. The kitchen is open till 10PM and serves a wonderfully priced Burger along with an assortment of other food. The atmosphere is warm and Irish style. If you need a place to go and your int he area stop in and grab some eats and listen to some good music!

Great bar, stop in here at least once a week. All the bar tenders are spot on, good pub food, good juke box. Lot’s of regulars all very friendly, started coming here about a year ago and make a point to stop in even if for a beer. Weekends are good, nice crowd always sports on from NASCAR to soccer. Can’t go wrong!

Had the Fish and Chips and they were great. Nice selection of beers. If you are named John Knoll, you need to go there. They have 2 guys named John Knoll that aren’t related and never knew each other until they met at this bar.

This place serves the BEST and I mean the BEST burgers in the area. It beats the hell out of any of the chain places including«Five Guys» and«Chi Burger Chi Burger» which aren’t bad but they cannot beat Maggie’s Burgers. The other food they have is really good also. The fish is always fresh and the prices are more than reasonable. My wife and I eat here at least twice a week and I go for lunch all the time. The service is good and the bar tenders are friendly and quick to serve. Mark the owner is very accomadating and his Irish broge adds a legit air to the place. They also pour a great stout, which if you are a stout drinker you know is a hard thing to find. Mark can do a shamrock on the head of your stout. A great place with friendly people.

NEVER go here. Especially late at night. You’ll be subjected to a drunken owner that allows the«regulars» to bully the non-regulars. I was first threatened by a young local fireman because I played over his music at the jukebox. He claimed that he used his«hard-earned money» to play music and that if I played over his music again he would kick the sh*t out of me. The understanding gentleman I am, I put his threats aside and bought him a shot to smooth things over. Then after my friend was threatened for wearing a NJ Devils hat, things escalated again, but this time with the owner and another fireman. I’ve never been to a bar that welcomed outsiders this way. And rest assured, I’ll never give them another dime.

Maggie’s is a good local irish pub. The bartenders, including the owner Mark, are friendly enough people and are usually quick to get your drink even on crowded nights. The purists will appreciate the fact that Mark was born and raised in Ireland and lends some legitimacy to Maggie’s label as an irish pub. The tap selection is fair for a local bar. They have the standard american beers on tap as well as smithwick’s, guinness and harp. Craft beer fans won’t find much here, although they usually carry Sam Adam’s seasonal which is a nice go-to when dealing with limited selection. They also often have Carlsberg on tap which I enjoy. It may be standard fare in Europe, but it’s uncommon in the States, so it’s a nice treat when they have it. The taps are usually kept clean and the beer is usually fresh and poured at a good temperature. I have yet to partake of the food, but there is a dining area with some booths if you choose to eat here. The rest of the bar includes a few game machines and a dart board or two for those that like to play games while at a bar. The bar itself is rectangular with seats all around and is made from a nice dark stained wood. The bar has a dark classic atmosphere to it and the patrons are usually friendly. Overall it’s a good local irish pub to grab a drink in. It was one of my favorite relaxing local spots for a while. Those looking for a more«party-like» atmosphere should probably look elsewhere. However it does have some busy nights with a younger crowd. So if you’re looking for that, it is worth a shot on the weekend if you’re tired of your old spots.

Local pub, excellent place to watch a soccer game as the owner is is irish and isnt shy about chatting it up. I imagine he has a lot to say with the shinanigans France pulled in eliminating them from the World Cup. Anyway, good wings and chicken fingers with the usual reliable beers on tap.

Maggie’s is a local Irish Pub with a friendly atmosphere and decent food. It’s a perfect place to grab a quick lunch or a lite supper. They have decent burgers and I rather enjoy the Sheppard’s Pie here. Chicken fingers are a nice snack to go with a cold beer at the bar.
