Wax ‘n’ Go

I had a full leg and bikini wax. My very hairy Italian genes do not make that an easy job. Yet in a quick half hour Jessica managed to have me smooth and hair free. It went by fast. She made me feel at ease right away and even had me laughing. Professional personable and sanitary… I highly recommend.

Jessica is amazing at what she does! She uses great quality products and provides a great service! She is so kind and friendly and makes you feel completely comfortable the entire time. I will never go anywhere else!

So I made the mistake of watching 40 year old virgin before my apt. I called ahead to make sure she still had time and she answered and said everything was perfect. During my visit, she played Kelly Clarkson which was a bonus. Since it was my first time, she was gentle. I was expecting some pain, cuz we’ll, I kinda like pain, but it was no big deal. It’s amazing how much smoother waxing can get than shaving. I will return for those special occasions.

Jessica was excellent. This is my first time waxing. Of course there was a little pain, but she was too good. She did a great job and will definitely come back! Definitely 5 star!

I’ve had issues with waxing in the past, but decided to give it another shot. Got my lip and chin waxed here the other day and guess what? No red bumps or other issues = I am very happy with the service. Also, the owner, Jessica, has a gentle touch and a soothing voice. I was really relaxed and the price was excellent.
The business is tucked away inside of Era Skin Lounge (I think) so make sure to go around the side to find it. Once inside, the ambiance is very welcoming and the treatment room is adorable. I highly recommend this place.

Totally awesome experience. This was only my second professional wax (I’m usually a DIY kinda girl when it comes to hair removal) and I’m so happy that I ended up in Jessica’s hands. From the initial phone call to book the appointment she was friendly and warm, and when I admitted that my legs were *truly* overgrown she didn’t miss a step: she made me feel totally relaxed about the fact that I had a grassland of hair (ew). The salon itself was cozy and comfortable, clean and organized.
Once on the table conversation and laughter flowed easily while Jessica efficiently worked on my legs. I’ve always been very anxious about displaying a lot of skin to strangers, but Jessica’s warm personality really helped alleviate that. Yes there was pain (it’s waxing: it can hurt in the tender places!), but she used hard wax — soft wax’s gentler sister — in the more delicate regions which helped a lot.
The result: my legs are super smooth and I’m a very happy camper. I’ll definitely be back!

Just got back from my first visit to Wax ‘n’ Go at their new location! The owner, Jessica, is great. She’s very considerate of her clients and she has a gentle touch. I’m really happy Jessica was able to re-​open in this new location.
The new location is tucked in a cute little building on Pio Pico. Look for the signs for Tiger Tail salon. If you park in the Tiger Tail parking lot, you then just need to follow the sidewalk along the building to the left (nearer the street) to the little building behind Tiger Tail. The signage is for Era Skin Care (which is also in the same building). Jessica’s new treatment room is super cute, warm, and welcoming — just like Jessica!

So happy to find Wax and Go again! It has been 10 years since I have seen Jessica when she opened her first wax and go location. I love her bedside matter, her sense of humor cracks me up; she leaves me feel smooth and ready to conquer the day.
