This is my favorite TJ! Very spacious and easy to find anything you need. Can’t go too early as there are a lot of elderly people in the area. I’m usually in a hurry to get in and get out and a store full of elderly is not good for that. I also want to make sure they have their space to do what they need to do with out some young bloke trying to zip around them. That would be rude of me. Friendly staff, great neighborhood!

Botton Line: Happy employees, tasty food and great prices on wine and beer. Fast forward about three years since this Trader Joe’s location opened and I still haven’t gotten run over in the crazy parking lot so that is a plus. Even though this store gets very busy and the one-way-in/on-way-out parking lot could have been better designed, I really like this Trader Joe’s. Not only do they have interesting products but everyone who works here is consistently nice and motivated to do a good job. The every day products are great and I always look forward to seasonal items like pumpkin Greek yogurt. This store excels at customer service. One time I bought some bad lemons here(literally) and called the store to let them know. The manager sincerely apologized and said I could come back for a refund and better lemons. He didn’t even require my receipt(which I had haphazardly thrown in a grocery bag, my purse or some other abyss). Moreover, to address a potentially bigger issue he was going to check out the recent shipment of lemons to see if it was a more widespread issue than the ones I had selected.

Health food/Fresh produce | Trader Joe’s grocery store is nestled in Bressi Ranch neighborhood in Carlsbad. This location is very busy, but has wider aisles than the Oceanside location. They have a large selection of artisan food and beverage products, always have fresh produce, and provide excellent service. BESTTHINGSTOBUYATTRADERJOE’S: *SALADS — Pick up a healthy, cheap salad here including fork! *NUTS — Best place to buy bulk and smaller packages. Cashews, almonds, etc *WINE — Pick up an inexpensive [or pricey] bottle of vino for the party *CHEESE — TJ’s carries an awesome selection of cow, goat, sheep, and vegan cheese. *CRACKERS — Again… HUGE selection of artisan snacks. You really can’t go wrong! PARKINGHEREISSUPERLAME. It’s nearly always busy during the day, and oftentimes there is no parking available at all. Not ideal if you are buying multiple items that require the use of a shopping cart… Be sure to pause on your way in to check out the small potted plants and herbs, they make awesome gifts, even if they’re just for yourself!

They do an addictive eggplant hummus. Great for snack items and frozen foods. Wouldn’t want to live in a world without Trader Joes. With that said, I hate their parking lot. Always too many cars and I get claustrophobic just thinking about it.

This Trader Joes is a really great one. Parking is plentiful, which is rare for Trader Joes, and really sets this one up a notch. This store is large — aisles are wide and easy to fit a couple carts down, produce section is big, prepared meals is good size, meat & cheese has a lot of options. The staff is friendly, like most locations. Only downside is that it gets super busy at lunchtime on weekdays, when nearby employees from the business park are in the shopping center for lunch. Avoid from 11 – 1 M-F and you are good to go!

This is your average Trader Joe’s located in the middle of Carlsbad. The Trader Joe’s is actually pretty big and the store itself is very clean. I really liked the service here but I always like the service at all Trader Joe’s. Parking is kind of interesting in this plaza but it seems that there is plenty, most of the time. I highly recommend you stop by if you want Trader Joe’s goods and then head over to Pure Burger or Pieology for dinner(they are all in the same plaza)!

Rating the beer selection. Ample parking in the Bressi Village shopping center with many different stores and restaurants. Beautiful garden/park. Trader Joe’s in California is on a totally different level from what I was used to in Maryland– just so much good wine and beer. An incredible selection with very low prices for higher end wines as well. They have 4 – 5TJ house beers for very cheap as well as special releases like Alesmith Bloody Valentine and Stone Enjoy By. Nothing was in coolers though, but it wasn’t languishing in the heat by the windows either. Prices great, staff friendly. I guess I’m about to get really spoiled with TJ’s over here. Looks like everything was able to be bought as single bottles even if it came in six packs so you can try whatever you like. Some of the beers available I’d never heard of before– mainly German beers.
