I’ve been sending my work shirts, slacks and various other items to Threads via pickup at my house and delivery for 8 years, and they are always on time and never a problem! I seem to recall once that an item was delayed, and Mr. Dong called to inform me that he would deliver it the next day, on Saturday. I always take a picture of all the items I send just so there is a record, but have never used it. This is a very convenient cleaning service! They pick up my items Wed, and they come back Friday.

On Wednesday, October 8, 2014, I dropped off three items to be dry cleaned – a pink blazer, a pair of designer jeans, and an embellished sweater. I am extremely unhappy with how one of my items turned out and with the overall service I have received from Threads. I used Threads about five years ago when I worked in San Marcos, but I decided to go elsewhere due to the difficulty I had communicating with the owner and slight damage to a handmade jacket, which I chose not to pursue at the time as the jacket was still wearable. I recently started working across the street and decided to give Threads another chance. The owner had some difficulty updating my information in his system, which was frustrating, but I thought we were able to fix it in the end. When I arrived to pick up my items on Thursday, October 16, 2014, I was told that my items had been«delivered» even though I had not requested this service or given a current address. Fortunately, during the 10 minutes that I was discussing the situation with an employee, someone else was able to find my clothes. Today, I put on my pink blazer and immediately noticed that it had shrunk. Two weeks ago it fit beautifully. Now it is unwearable. I paid approximately $ 150 for the blazer in April 2014 at Banana Republic. It is in excellent condition aside from the shrinkage. I asked the owner to reimburse me for the blazer in the amount for $ 112.50, which I believe is the fair replacement value as I have owned the item for several months. The owner refused to do anything about the damage, saying instead that«It’s always the first-time customers like you who complain about damage.»(I think he’s insinuating that me and other first-time customers are making up these claims. I would argue that they mess up clothes so often they probably have a lot of people who don’t come back.) I would steer clear of this dry cleaner.

Eco-friendly dry cleaning that picks-up and delivers if you can’t make it there. They are great! I had a few items cleaned and pressed there, very satisfied. They were also able to repair a zipper for me, without replacing it. I pay a little more than my previous dry cleaner I used, but I know my clothes don’t have a questionable scent or ill effects to be concerned about later.

I’ve been taking my expensive dress shirts here for over a year now and I’ve never had a problem. Excellent cleaning, very polite family that owns and operates the business, and excellent service. In the past, I’ve used other dry cleaners but I’ve always had bad experiences with other dry cleaners. I’ve been using this place for about 14 months now and I’ve had zero complaints. Great job. My dress shirts cost about $ 150 on average, so obviously I need a good dry cleaner. I recommend this dry cleaner. Also, although I have never used the tailor, they also have a full tailer on site for alterations, buttons, etc. Here’s a tip: They will ask how soon you want it, and reply«no rush,» otherwise they will charge you for rush service and have it ready in a day or two. New customers just have to learn this. Tell them«no rush» and it will be 3 – 4 days and they won’t charge you extra. Also, they accept cash only, so take cash when you pick up your clothes.

I dropped of my expensive satin fancy dress that I have worn once to get dry cleaned, when i picked it up there were 4 snags on the side of the dress and none of the stains were gone. And they charged me $ 14! for one dress… I asked them to fix it and they said the snags weren’t from them and that they would try and fix the stains. i went to pick it up today and the stains were actually worse, it looked as if they scrubbed some of the color off sections of the dress. i asked for my money back and they said they would give me 50% back… so basically they charged me to make my dress worse and put snags in it. I had to take it to another dry cleaner and they said they think they can fix it(the stains, but they said the snags couldn’t be fixed)… but i guess we will see if they can or not. I’m pretty pissed about it and will never recommend it to anyone!
