Chelsea did an amazing job on my balayage. Although I did color my hair a dark brown almost black so I knew a lighter color would be a little difficult to get. But Chelsea transformed my hair wonderfully. This was maybe just about 3 months ago. I’m already thinking about going back to Chelsea to try a new color! It is pretty pricey but the quality is really great. I was recommended by a friend & I’m glad I came! I definitely be back soon! (:

Chelsea was amazing and took me from a washed out brunette to a dirty blonde that brought so much life to my look. She was also incredibly accommodating to me given the fact that I wasn’t able to make my original appointment time. My color and cut far exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else from here on out.

I purchased a Groupon for a haircut with Tina for $ 35. The booking process was fine and went smoothly, and I was able to make an appointment pretty quickly. However, when I showed up, I was told that I would be charged an extra $ 15 because I have «long hair.» My hair is a pretty common length for women — falling to about my mid-​chest. So right off the bat, being that the normal cost for a cut was in the $ 60 – 70 range, the upcharge completely defeated the point of my trying out this new place at a discount. It’s disrespectful to attract customers to your business under false pretenses.
I could have dismissed those issues if the quality of my haircut justified the cost. The Groupon was for a haircut, condition, and blow dry. When I’m assessing a haircut, I give zero f’s about the conditioning and blow dry quality because those situations are not realistic to what my day-​to-​day looks like. Ain’t nobody got time to give themselves daily blowouts. My cut took about 10 minutes while the blow dry job took 20+. The cut itself was hastily done and not thorough in attending to all the layers, so it was ultimately a whatever job. The blowdry did what blowdrying does: dry and straighten my hair. Wow.
At the end of the day, what I was looking for was pretty simple — to freshen up the split ends and clean up the layering. But when I’m getting nickel-​and-​dimed for basically not having a pixie cut, I would expect much higher quality and attention to detail.

Natashka works miracles! I’ve been in San Diego for 10 years and it took me 7 to find her! I am very picky about my hair because not every stylist can handle blonde colors. I’ve been going to her for 3 years now and I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ve gone from blonde to brunette to blonde to platinum. She is always honest about how something will turn out, choosing to do what’s best for my hair condition. I recommend her all the time– she is very accommodating and always does her best to get me appt times that work with my schedule.

I know guy’s don’t usually comment on salons, but Tina did an amazing job on my fiancé’s hair. She looked amazing for our friends wedding. This was her first time going and Tina made her feel like they’ve been friends for years. Guys, I’d highly recommend bringing the women in your life here. You wont be disappointed. I’ve Been coming to Tina for a few years! She Always does a great job and I leave feeling beautiful. The salon is gorgeous and the people are super friendly! Tina is super professional and so sweet. I don’t allow anyone to do my hair or make up except her just because she always gets it right.

I have worked next to Tina she is awesome. Her colors are vivid and trendy! I love her work! I would recommend her for any special event! She does great makeovers! She educates herself so she knows what’s going on!!! She also educates so she gets the trend report before most!

Im very picky when it comes down to getting my haircut but a friend recomended me to Tina and decided to give it a shot. She was able to fit me into her busy schedule and made sure i left with complete satisfaction plus a complimentary beer which was great. The 7 minute scalp massage and towel wrap were so relaxing it had me falling asleep. Tina was very friendly and has great customer service. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

LOVE LOVE LOV TINA!!! Tina has by far met and exceeded my expectations of a great stylist. I have wild, crazy, thick, Puerto Rican Hair. She was able to tame my afro puffs and straighten my hair like no one else. Her coloring was dead one and her customer service was impeccable. The Salon was clean and ALL the ladies were friendly. After having multiple friends refer me to Tina I decided to make an appointment with her myself and wow am I glad that I did. Tina was so professional and helpful from the start. She recommended that I see her prior to my service for a consultation so that we both were on the same page about the end result. She explained everything to me perfectly so I knew what to expect the day of my service.
The day of my service Tina was at the door to greet me by name and walk me back. She briefly explained the process again and then she started her magic! My color is flawless. I am a very light blonde and know exactly what I want, and Tina read my mind.
Not only was my hair looking fabulous she taught me some tricks with her product line, Eufora to extend the life of my color. These products give my hair new life!

Tricia is the best owner a salon can have! She really cares for her business and holds the standard for treating customers respectfully! If you can please see her because you will leave with what you want!

This is my 2^nd root touch up from my bayalage color with Tina. I love how beautifully it has turned out. I naturally have very dark brown hair with a lot of early grey growth and normally whenever I have lightened my hair it gets brassy and orangey. But not the case with Tina. She was able to get my hair a beautiful salted caramel color and it has stated that way. I couldn’t be happier.
I fully recommend her for all hair services. She’s honestly the best I’ve been too. And I’m not the type to easily hand out compliments. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been living in Oceanside my whole life and have been to so many salons from around here that I’m grateful that I finally found a hair stylist that is my go to when I get a hair cut! Tina is always so nice and down to earth that when I see her I have to pinch myself because I thought hair stylist like her only existed on T. V!!! She loves what she does and is such a great listener! If you are hesitant (I know I’ve been there), then bring in a pic to give her an idea of what you like. Make a appointment you wont regret it!

I think this review probably applies more to women with my type of hair: thick, wavy, and with lots of frizz.
I got my hair done here about six months ago and the outcome was absolutely horrible! I’m originally from Oregon but moved to Oceanside because that’s where my husband is stationed as a marine. I had been dying to get my hair done but was a bit iffy about letting someone new do my hair so after some extensive research I finally came across the style lounge. For the price, I was definitely expecting better than what I got. Tina was the one who did my hair and she looked so happy when she was done so I didn’t want to hurt her feelings by telling her my hair looked terrible which was a big mistake on my part. I thought I could deal with my hair for a months but after minutes of driving home I started crying because I hated it lol I was pretty emotional about it for an entire week. I wasn’t sure what hurt more, the fact that my hair was ruined or the fact that I had paid so much and had to pay even more to go to Oregon and get it fixed.

Cheryl is the best esthetician ever!!! Been with her now for about a year. Found her through Groupon for microdermabrasion treatment and have been so happy every since.
My skin breaks out easily and can get uneven skin tone due to previous breakouts. And of course it was driving me bananas. The microdermabrasion helped to exfoliate and smooth out my skin. My make up too goes on smooth after. I also changed my diet, cutting out milk and sugar mainly. And lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as water and my skin is really thanking me for it.
Cheryl also recommended a Lactic peel that did wonders as well. I never had a peel before and thought maybe my face would be red and peel off but it was nothing like that. At the most my face felt slightly chalky. But it made a huge difference with evening skin tone.
She also uses this high frequency wand thing that stimulates the blood to help clear skin and other good stuff. She could explain it better. I bought one myself for personal use and she helped explain and teach me how to use it.
The environment is lovely, comfy and upscale feeling. They treat you really nice there. I always feel so much better after leaving from a session with Cheryl!

Love this salon. Everyone is really nice and fun to be around. All the stylists have taken the time to know me by name even though I only go to one girl. Always clean, stocked and looking great.
My girl Tina is amazing. I’ve gone to her for years. Initially it was to fix an awful at-​home bleach and red dye job I did and absolutely destroyed my hair. She fixed it and made it look perfect. She was so good I kept coming back and I get excited for each appointment.

If you’re looking for a salon with a cool vibe and excellent stylists this is it! I LOVE my girl Stephanie Zurita and always walk out feeling great. Stephanie not only does my hair but my husband’s as well. She’s always open to try new things with me and can translate what I want when I’m not even sure what I want :-) Check them out!

I have been getting my eyebrows and bikini waxes done by Lilah for over a year now. She is amazing. She has always made me feel comfortable. One of the main things I love is she is very clean. Her station is always put together and well kept. I have never been disappointed with my eyebrows. I had been getting my eyebrows done at another local nail shop for years. First time I met her was for a bikini wax and she approached me and asked if she could wax my eyebrows. I was nervous but she was so confidant she got me to say yes. Since that day I’ve never been to anyone else.
Highly recommend!

I love the new location! The salon is hip and trendy and if you’re lucky enough to have Chelsea do your hair you’ll never go anywhere else. I also really love the Euphora products. I’m a client for life (or at least as long as I live here)! Thanks Style Lounge for keeping my locks gorgeous!
