Love them!!! not only the Coffee but the employees are always very friendly. Been here so much lately that the manager knows my order! I am always craving the white chocolate ice blended ! sooooo good! i seriously go through withdrawls!

It’s OK. Coffee is great but the service is not the best. Drink was sitting up there for a long time and it tasted like water.

CBTL to the rescue again! I was feeling really grumpy and still had a long day ahead, meaning I need sugar and coffee, lots of it. The blended mocha with their chocolate covered espresso beans is everything. I get serious cravings for it and they got it just right here. Great coffee, great staff, plenty of seating and very clean, love this location and will surely be back more!

Went here today and picked up two drinks. One winter dream tea latte and a cookie butter ice blended. I absolutely loved the tea latte! It was like chai but not as spicy. The ice blended was just ok. I thought it could have had more pronounced cookie butter flavor. I found it a little bland. Sometimes parking can be an issue but I only come this way once in a while so I wouldn’t fight it everyday. As long as they have the dream tea latte I’ll be back!

I go to coffee bean because I really enjoy their large variety of teas! My favorite tea is the cherry blossom! Yum! I also enjoy their iced white mocha, ½ sweet! I like that they use nonfat milk for their standard milk of choice, too.
This location is quite smaller than others and the tables and chairs are usually always taken, whatever time I go in.
I’ll be back for the yummy teas!

Was looking for somewhere cool to go do some reading for class. This place has very few seats inside, maybe enough for 10 people total. There are 2 or 3 seats that don’t have a table to work at, think of those recliner type chairs and you’ll know why. There are plenty of seats outside, but I was trying to get away from the heat and ended up outside anyway. I recommend coming when people didn’t just get out of class. They do have free wi-​fi for the customers, just have to connect and accept their terms & conditions like any other free wi-​fi spot.
As for the drinks, I’ve been here a couple times, first time I had the dark chocolate ice blended drink which was really good, and this time was the pure chocolate ice blended drink. It tasted like a really good hot chocolate blended with ice and topped with whip cream. I opted for that one since I had just got a coffee from a different place and didn’t want to be wired for the rest of the day. If you’re looking for something to eat, they offer small snacks/​pastry like things and I think prepackaged cookies.
You can buy packaged coffee/​tea here too. In the back near the restrooms, there are napkins/​straws/​sugar/​spices (cinnamon, others) and even a water dispenser for when you finish getting dehydrated from drinking too much coffee. I’ll have to time my next visit to be able to get in that nice a/​c zone and try something else on the menu.

I love this place! I try to only go 1 – 2 times a week. If I had my way, I’d have a vanilla iced coffee from here, everyday!
I was never super excited about Starbucks, or coffee to begin with. I’ve never had a good iced coffee at Starbucks, so I always would order a high calorie «fufu» drink to cover up the coffee taste. Then you’re paying over $ 5 for a drink.
Anyways, this review is about coffee bean and tea leaf!
Everyone is usually pretty friendly every time I come in. Sometimes they are quite busy, so the service lacks a bit, but the taste of the coffee makes up for it.
The place is always clean and well stocked. There is also a patio area outside that has plenty of seating.
This will continue to be my go to coffee place!!!
Ps they have a deal where you get a free regular sized drink with purchase of $ 25 gift card. Awesome deal

Nice enough place, clean and tucked away behind the fitness center, just south of the 78 off El Camino Real. Outdoor patio with umbrellas, free WiFi. Despite playing second fiddle to St@rbucks, their coffee is equally expensive, with a small mocha setting me back a stiff $ 3.75. Muffins: $ 2.29. Ouch.

Friendly service, good product. I’d much rather go here than Starbucks. There’s just something a little more special about it. Lots of outdoor seating too!

So today for Father’s day weekend they are giving 2 for 1 on drinks!!!
My bf and I got to small iced drinks for less than $ 4!!!

A much quieter place to study than sbucks. Great location and the coffee is well made, iced Americano or double macchiato are favs. Friendly staff and clean. Outdoor patio is nice. A little pricier than sbucks and they don’t have membership perks. I wish that would change. But it’s worth it to get the better atmosphere if you like quieter.

There’s not enough of these out here in San Diego, so having one open till 9pm in Oceanside was amazing. Well, open till 9pm according to google, but this location is open till 8pm M-​Thursday I believe.
Anyway, the reason for my review is because last night on Tuesday my family of 4 showed up at 7:55pm and placed an order of drinks. To my amazement, the two young ladies working there didn’t even give us one bit of a hint that they were about to close. We were greeted with smiles and our drinks were made without any attitude. We even sat down to enjoy our drinks for a couple of minutes when we realized they were closing the shop.
So not only were the drinks good, but the two young ladies were amazing by taking our orders without any attitude about the time or that we sat down. Great customer service so we gave a much deserved tip. I will definitely come back here again.

It was empty inside and the baristas didn’t even great us and they didn’t get my name right.

Went to Coffee Bean before a doctors appointment just to grab a vanilla iced coffee and a petite vanilla bean scone.
This store is very cute and not usually too busy. The baristas are fine. They make quality beverages, don’t get me wrong but a smile or a «hello» would be nice. It’s always just «What can I get for you?». No greeting. Such a shame too!
The coffee and scone were delicious as always, but the service was just okay. Three stores for yummy pastries!

I absolutely LOVE this company. mostly the team that’s on El Camino Real. every time I go in there, the girls and guys have huge smiles on their faces and always engages in small talk.
but what stuck out to me more was when I told them about a HORRIBLE experience I had at a Coffee Bean at the Promenade in Santa Monica, they apologized and didn’t charge me for my favorite drink ! not only do I always choose their drinks over Starbucks, but the staff is amazing!

The ice tea lacked flavor and almost tasted like water, and I get ice tea from coffee bean at least twice a day from stores in LA, The staff was very nice. Ps They don’t except the coffee bean app or the rewards program.

I’ve never been to a Coffee Bean before but I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised by their selection and taste.
The service was really great and friendly, it has a cute little coffee shop feel to it too. I tried the blended hazelnut coffee and really really liked everything about it (minus the calories).
I try not to venture into the coffee mega stores because I enjoy the small biz coffee shop feel but I’d go back here if I was running late and want a good cup a joe.

I never get to have CB being in northern california so I will go WAY out of my way for it in socal. Love it. Good chai latte. Very cute location with lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

I came in at around 9:30 this morning for just a drip coffee — the coffee tasted like Folgers! Way too mild… I was not impressed! If they had a variety of coffee roasts or a bolder blend, they didn’t offer it to me… I asked for a small coffee in a medium cup and I got a medium cup about halfway full (definitely not a small) and it was warm. Not hot, but warm. Their milks were almost all out — I mixed the last of the whole milk and half-​and-​half. There wasn’t a line when I came in, they could have replenished the coffee bar. And the coffee was not fresh.
The guy at the register was sweet, but I’m an ex-​barista, I critique every coffee experience I have and this was subpar. I came in after an eye doctor appointment in the same shopping center so when I come back in a few weeks I’ll try them again to see if I experienced them on an off day.

It’s official. This is our new Morning Coffee Spot on weekends! Although it is in a busy shopping center, we found it to be an acceptable place to have our Husband on Wife relax action. What can I say otherwise about Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf that you don’t already know.
They burn beans here and there, but generally I am pleased with my Latte. I have had their Malibu Dream Smoothie in Malibu, and it’s as good here as it is there. They have a good selection of teas too. a wide mix of people come here, and people watching is great.
