Scripps Natural Mattress

Mark was great about working with me on our new mattress. After receiving the mattress, I initially thought it might be too firm. Mark was able to make a house call to trade out my foam for the softer version the next week! After a couple of weeks, I realized I might have made a big mistake, not letting my original foam break in a bit more. I called Mark again, no problems switching out to the older, more firm foam! Great customer service, I would send anyone to see him. Thanks, Mark.

We’ve had our new mattress from Scripps for a couple of months now and couldn’t be happier. Mark has been fantastic to work with. He’s well educated about his products and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others. Like many others, we are trying to rid our homes of toxins. After food and cleaning products, our bedding was next in line. I thought we would be spending thousands on a natural mattress, but we were pleasantly surprised to find the price well within our budget and equal to or less expensive than many non-​natural mattresses. With as many hours as you sleep on it, it really is a very important investment in your health. And Mark’s mattresses are the coolest! They actually UNZIP to switch out the latex foam. This means when normal mattresses go to pot in 8 – 10 years and we normally replace the whole thing (so very sorry, landfills), with one of Mark’s mattresses you just switch out the latex — saving the earth and some $$$ in the process! In addition, this means there can be two different comfort levels in one bed. This makes us very happy since I am a delicate flower and prefer sleeping on a cloud and my husband is crazy and could sleep on rocks.
I also have to say that I am extremely thorough when it comes to researching my options (this could also be read indecisive or cheap, but I’ll go with the former!). After trying out the beds at Mark’s I went to two other local natural mattress places and even ordered one off the internet. Even though we knew we’d lose money returning the mattress online and there were other mattresses locally that were similar in price, the comfort of the products and the customer service Mark had given us won out.
I highly recommend you stop in for a look and a quick nap. You won’t be disappointed! :-)

I just bought a cal king organic mattress from Scripps Natural Mattress and LOVE it! I had bought my daughter a twin sized one and decided after 8 years on a tempurpedic that I needed to get an organic mattress for myself. My tempurpedic was making me ill and I am so happy to have found Mark and his mattresses! He is a wealth of information on mattresses and back problems, (which I have). I bought the cal king mattress and organic kapok pillows and organic sheets and I am so happy with all of it! It is so much better than my old mattress and I didn’t think I would ever find any other mattress that I liked as much as my old one but his mattress I like ever BETTER! I highly recommend Scripps Natural Mattress. And Mark’s customer service is outstanding… he will bend over backwards to make you happy! I couldn’t be happier!

I am so lucky my office is just across the driveway from Mark because I never would have found it. I have paid so much money for different mattresses over the years and just couldn’t find one that worked for my husband, who prefers a firmer feel and me who wants something as soft as possible. So not only did we get something that is organic and natural but modifiable to suit both our tastes. Mark is such a great guy. He was all about educating us on the options and what would work best for us. The structure of the mattress and the frame is just completely different (and much better) than what you get from normal mattress stores. You get what you pay for. If you want the best you are going to pay a little more, but it is worth it!!!

We found this store as a result of the Paid 2 Save phone App. We had searched the Internet for all kinds of mattresses and realized there were organic allergy free ones available. Without the App we would not have known about the showroom due to its location. The out of the way location practically guarantees personal service. No pressure sales either. Just solid facts.
We bought a king size mattress from Mark Neel the owner. He was a wealth of knowledge about allergies and sleeping issues.
His service was wonderful and the delivery guys were very professional.
We love the mattress and can’t say enough about Mark.
Buy one there and it’ll be the last mattress you’ll ever buy. Mark will tell you the reason.

We also purchased a wool mattress cover. All other organic wool mattress covers we have found online are extremely expensive. We bought one from Mark and he gave us a nice discounted price! It is also washable!
