I’ve been going to Mimi’s ever since I moved to Carlsbad about ten years ago and a friend recommended it. They always do an excellent job, and everything is finished perfectly. At 5’4″, I often have to have things hemmed, and they’ve done dresses, pants, and skirts for me. Their prices are a bit higher than my old place in El Cajon, but it’s worth it to know that my clothes are in good hands. The standard turn-​around time is about a week, but they can do things sooner for you if you ask.

Although we are getting settled I still feel fairly new to the area. I’ve been spoiled lost of my life with a mom & husband who both sew; however, schedules often limit their availability.
I am petite & just about every purchase needs some kind of alteration. Each time I visit here the ladies take exceptional care of me & my clothing. They are fast & produce an excellent final product.
I don’t hesitate to take them any of my designer or bargain finds!
