I had a massage by Monique. She is AMAZING! She is great with firm pressure and has professional work educate. I’ll definitely be back!

Received a massage on 11÷2÷15. It was okay nothing spectacular. My therapist was Monique and she has a very firm pressure/​touch. I wouldn’t mind it but she only checked once with me to ask how the pressure was. She seemed unhappy when she introduced herself. I was killing one hour so I thought I would give it a chance. Would I return probably not. Its a great place if you don’t set up your expectations to high.
The massage was a so so swedish. Oil bottle would bump my head every now and again when she was working on my upper part of the head and shoulder area. She does great massage on the feet though I thoroughly enjoyed. Again just a so so experience.

I can’t give the front office 5 stars as the management aspect is a bit unorganized, but the young people that greet you and check you out are definitely always very nice and polite.
This 5 star review is for their therapist Teca!!! This office is lucky to have her, as she is the absolute best massage therapist I’ve ever encountered. After 10 years of unsuccessfully trying to cure a chronic stiff and painful neck, Teca was the first person/​treatment ever that made a difference. She literally changed my life in that she restored and released so much tension from my neck muscles. She truly listened to my concerns, and she simply has the skills that you cannot teach a massage therapist. I strongly recommend anyone seeking massage therapy to come here and request Teca. She is professional, always on time, courteous, and pleasant to talk to as well.
Ultimately, she just knows how to address your concerns and give you the therapy you are seeking.

I went to Massage Heights Carlsbad in response to a free birthday upgrade offer I was emailed. I paid for an hour and a half massage and gave a copy of my emailed free offer and specifically requested my free «upgrade» (foot scrub). My masseuse did not perform the free upgrade service, which I noted at the end of the massage at which point she said it was too late and she forgot. After leaving and coming out of the post massage «fog» I noted the time and realized the massage performed lasted only 1 hour, and was NOT the 1.5 hour massage I PAID for. Because the location was then closed, I called back the next day and was told a manager would call me back to help me, but no manager ever called me back. I emailed the Massage Heights Carlsbad and the corporate office, only to get a «sorry to hear about your problem… we will be in touch» email back. Nobody every responded to my email, so several weeks later I emailed again, and again received no response. Given my experience with Massage Heights Carlsbad, I feel they are not honest or trustworthy, they do not respond to requests for information, and they simply do not seem to care about their clients or the issues brought to their attention. It’s my opinion you should avoid going to Massage Heights Carlsbad, as my experience caused much more stress than was relieved! I will NEVER return to Massage Heights Carlsbad, not even for a free massage, as I fell for a free offer before.

The people at the front desk are very cheerful and courteous. The massage therapists are a mixed bag of quality. Some are pretty good, some are absolutely terrible.
I had a 90 minute massage today from one of their male therapists, and I got a good 45 minutes out of him. The remaining 45 minutes he kneaded my temples. Really? It was the WORST massage I’ve ever had. I had a monthly contract, but I will now cancel it and go elsewhere.
Occasionally they do get a really good therapist, but they soon leave. The problem? They underpay them! Then they post an absolutely absurd TIP scedule, $ 20 for a 60 minute massage, $ 30 for a 90 minute massage. Seriously! 40%!
The owners of massage heights have shifted the responsibility of paying their massage therapists onto the customers.
Bottom line… I quit, and won’t be back!

Amazing therapists who specializes in different modalities. Very clean and friendly staff. Always available to answer any questions I have or book appointments. They do great with same day appointments and walk ins, but if you have a therapist you like definitely book ahead! They offer a peel now too with their facials so this is an excellent place to visit on your day off when you need some pampering or relaxation!!!

Wow. So impressed with this place. The staff is exceptional. Had a facial with Crystal– she was the best. And they carry the whole dermatological line !

Came in without expectations and I ended up with a very professional massage therapist. I had a 1 hour massage, worked my shoulders and back. No complaints plus going back next week to rebook Monique was amazing and very knowledge about her practice. She is the only person I need to see. Why change up a perfect thing.

I have been recovering from back surgery for quite some time. My doctor suggested I see a medical massage therapist. So I was going to cancel my membership with Massage Heights BUT I love TECA’s massages so much that I have decided to renew my membership just because of her. She is the BEST!

The ONLY great this of my massage today was my masseuse Teca! The front staff was young, inexperienced and provided wrong information. We have been going to this place for almost five years, in those five years they have changed owners once and have changed managers as much a as I change shoes! We no longer have a contract and I informed them we no longer will be coming here. The young girl in the front counter not only was persistent but very pushy. We don’t like your front counter service and THIS is why we are leaving.
I have three massages that we’ve paid — but couldn’t use them until I paid for another massage!!! To get my account active. I tried to get an explanation of this as we won’t be coming back!!! Why do I need to pay for another massage to get the ones already earned!!! This is ridiculous! This place really needs better energy and the lack of service provided was just epic!
The way management treats their masseuses is appalling. Jeannie is apparently the new manager. I will be calling her to demand an explanation as this is not in our original paperwork when we joined almost five years ago!

I lift weights a lot and need a massage every couple months to loosen up tight muscles and joints. This place might be okay for rubbing out stiff muscles from stress but was completely inadequate for a sports massage.

Albert gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The facility is fantastic and everyone is wonderful.

Had our credit card on file and charged us as agreed for our massages. Our credit card company issued us a replacement card as a result of a security breach so Massage Heights did not charge us for 3 months as they could not due to changed card. MH finally called me to say my account was suspended and that my wife and I needed to give a new credit card and come in to make up massages. Since we agreed to a one year obligation, we paid to complete the year and got our massages. We also signed our cancellation forms at this time.
Now, Massage Heights charges us for an additional month and we did not receive massages!
When we tried to explain to the manager and have the charges reversed, she refused.
This place has gone downhill fast!

Don’t ever sign up for a membership! The management will make it difficult for you to cancel. You have to live farther than 25 miles or get a doctor’s note otherwise you are a member for life whether you like it or not! I’m been a member for almost 5 years but to had to cancel due to the distance. The manager never calls you back and my card was charged. I questioned it and they played dumb about it. I was told that I did have a prepay to use but was renege by the manager. She said that I had only less than 30 days to use it. This was after the fact! Basically you snooze you lose. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE!

Great massage therapists, clean quiet environment, and lots of extras. I highly recommend this location if you plan to have a massage at least once a month. My husband and I go faithfully and are never disappointed. The therapists consistently listen to your requests, understand the needs of your body at that moment, and are friendly without being too chatty. Appreciated the ease of interacting with management when when I needed to work out some details. This is a well-​run location and you won’t be disappointed.

I love coming to this location for both facials and massages. The location is very clean, and always smells fresh ;) Everyone up front is very professional and makes sure you are comfortable prior to your service. The products that they use are cruelty free and do an fantastic job at achieving your results. They offer memberships for both the facials and massage, so its a one stop shop! TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT TO ALL.

We arrived 4 minutes early for a couples’ massage, signed a release, and waited and waited and waited. We listened to the receptionist dealing with a customer issue, shooting the breeze with another member of the staff, and ordering her lunch. A woman came in after us, sat with us for a couple of minutes, and then was taken back 10 minutes before we were. In the end, our massage was started 15 minutes late and finished 5 minutes early (40 minutes total). All this would’ve been okay, but my masseuse only had two speeds: point of the elbow buried deep into your back or light touch. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem strong enough to do anything but use her elbows.
In fairness, my did wife enjoy her massage and the facility is clean and well appointed.

My husband and I went to massage heights for a couples massage it was amazing!!! We first arrived and were treated by a very friendly blonde receptionist (sorry forgot her name) she was so friendly! I was paired up with Kristina and my husband with Sonja. They were both amazing! They listened to are areas of concern and took care of are issues! We both would highly recommend either one. Price was reasonable for 90 min hot stone massage! Definitely will be back!!! They were Amazing!!!

I have been a member for about 6 months and it is always a good experience. But today was truly top notch. I had Angela. She is amazing and spent a good deal of time in difficult knots. She was amazing and I was so relaxed! Thank you!!!
