We have been going to Kumon with Ms. Marie for over 3 years now. Started at the Encinitas location (parking great) to the Carlsbad location (parking horrible) But my review is not about parking… My kids are more confident in Math, they can successfully complete problems way above their grade level and feel confident about their answer. Also with the current common core «adjustment» my kids will be ready for standard math practices during and after common core is established or withdrawn. If you have patience to go in 2x a week and homework every night, you will have one strong, self confident, ready to do math kid… and love it.

Love the program, and the price is reasonable at $ 125 a month per child per subject. It is NOT traditional tutoring however so be sure you get all the info. before signing up. I am generous with 3 stars as there are 2 BIG problems. #1-​parking in the shopping center is a nightmare, at least during Kumon hours. #2– the hours STINK! This place is only open on Mon. & Thurs. 2:30 — 6:30 so it’s always busy and crowded. Apparently the «instructor» Ms. Marie is unable to open on other days or so the assistants say. So if you are patient and your schedule flexible, this may be a good place for your kids to improve their math and reading skills.
