Fawn Christiansen Photography

Fawn is a fantastic and extremely talented photographer! She is also a fantastic and awesome person to work with. After our first meeting with her and seeing her work in person, we were easily convinced that Fawn was the best fit for us! Fawn’s style is so natural and warm and she has an incredible ability to capture special moments as well as the feeling of the moment. She’s very professional, easy & enjoyable to work with, loves what she does and expresses genuine happiness for her couples (which is pretty awesome). We absolutely loved our wedding as well as engagement photos by Fawn and we highly recommend her!

Fawn was the first person I booked after I found my venue (Luce Loft in SD) after seeing her work on some of my favorite wedding blogs — I couldn’t have been more pleased with having her and her husband shoot my wedding. Fawn was very responsive, extremely easy to get along with (brought a great vibe on a busy wedding day), had fun ideas and took into consideration things that were important to me. I love all of the ‘details’ shots and how they were able to capture more of the special moments throughout the day.
I would recommend to brides before your wedding day, doing some research of the best places to take photos at your venue — both ceremony and reception locations — and talk to your photographer about it prior to the wedding so you’re on the same page and don’t have to come up with those locations on the day of! Fawn was very open to any ideas I had, which I appreciated so much. I will always recommend Fawn as a wedding photographer — remember your wedding photos are an investment and will be one of the few things you have to look back on from your wedding day!

I don’t even know where to begin to describe how AMAZING Fawn is! I did a ton of research before picking my wedding photographer and when I came across Fawn’s work, I knew instantly I had to have her as our wedding photographer. From our first interaction, I loved her enthusiasm and could tell she genuinely cared about what I wanted. I live out of town and she was very helpful in finding dates that worked for both of us. I had a lot of questions about the details, what to wear, and where to take the pictures and she was very accommodating and great at answering in a timely manner. Not only does Fawn produce fabulous pictures and have such a great eye, but she is the most amazing genuine person with the coolest vibe.
I worked with Fawn on 3 different occasion.
1-​Our engagement pictures; it was SO much fun! She made us feel so comfortable and was great at directing us to get the best out of our shoot. I LOVED EVERY picture she took!
2-​Boudoir session; Fawn made me feel so comfortable and did a great job making every photo very tasteful and just my style. She even did the album for me that I gave to my husband on our wedding day.
3– Our wedding pictures: Again she did not disappoint, we LOVED EVERY picture! Her husband was the second shooter and he was so great too, they were an awesome pair. They really cared about making the day comfortable, I knew I was in good hands and trusted everything they set up and suggested, which made it very relaxing just being able to go with the flow. They set up the first look in the cutest spot and picked great locations for our couple photos, bridal party and family pictures. She also put together my wedding album, it turned out great!
I cant’t say enough praises about Fawn, I highly recommend her! She was by far the most favorite person I worked with for our wedding.

When I was searching for a wedding photographer, I came across Fawn’s site and I loved her work. We engaged her as our wedding photographer and I have to say, it was one of the best decisions we made. I am not the most comfortable person in front of the camera and she managed to put me at ease. She is such a professional. I love her eye for photos as well. Her Unilocal page might be new, but she has been in the wedding photography business for a while. Wedding photographs last a lifetime, you will not go wrong with Fawn!
