Bright Star Energy

Rex and Tim did a great job installing my solar panels. My wife and I are very pleased with the way it turned out.
We have an older house and the concrete roof tiles on our house are no longer available. Rex worked diligently in the design to insure our satisfaction. I felt like Rex was working on his own home.
Must say, it’s a satisfying feeling to see your first electricity bill and read ZERO owed to SDGE. Plus we’re doing our small part in the fight against climate change.

Before you move forward with another solar company like I almost did, do yourself a favor and have Bright Star Energy look at your project. You’ll be happy you did. My solar production is awesome and my pocketbook is thanking me every day for that decision. And, it came about in the most fortunate of circumstances.
A short back story.
Over a several month period I began talking with assorted solar companies. I met with three of them. One really large company, one large for our San Diego area and a small company who I have a personal connection with. All are good people who are reputable and worthy companies. I liked them all. Each had their advantages. One of them came highly recommended by two sets of friends who didn’t know one another had used the same company. That was a neat story in itself. Anyway, of the three companies I met with, I preferred the same company my friends used. So I moved forward with them. Just as that contracting was about to begin a fortunate circumstance occurred.
I mentioned solar to a fellow customer at my local coffee shop who I didn’t know was in the solar business. I honestly didn’t want to consider another company as I had exhausted all my studying of the project. But that little voice in my head said «oh alright». We talked and I listened. In the end, particular words he said stuck with me and those were «Return on Investment». Fast forward, we met and I delved even deeper into panel production, manufacturers, inverters, etc. I got really into it. Google can testify to that.
I hired Bright Star.
Based on my electrical usage, I went for an 87% electrical offset, which was the same target with the company I almost hired. The kicker was it came at two-​thirds the cost! My «Return on Investment» was greatly improved!
