Overcharged me on my takeout 5:30 last night. I ordered the meal for 5 which is $ 38, plus I added corn bread and a family brownie. When I got home I saw the cashier charged me for the meal for 6 but still only gave me the sides for the one I ordered. I paid with Amex, if you want to check on it Boston Market.

Love the Tortilla soup and the pot pies. I have never been disappointed with the food. I wish there was a Boston Market near me, in Escondido, CA

Food is good here but two things from my first experience ordering a large meal online… My pick up time was 1pm. I came in and paid and my food was brought out to me at 1:30. I wasn’t expecting that since everything is cold. Also I ordered two orders of cranberry walnut relish at 4.99 each and this is what I got… 9−3oz to go personal cups for $ 10 ??? If it’s a meal to feed 12 shouldn’t I have at least gotten 12. Each one is a one person serving at best. Disappointed for sure. Despite the emails urging you to get there at pick up time… Don’t bother and definitely don’t waste your money on the cranberry relish. I also want to add just incase management is reading… It wasn’t so much the fact that I had to wait it was that after I signed my receipt, the very friendly cashier walked away to help someone else so I stood there expecting another person to come around with my bags of food. At 9 months pregnant and uncomfortable I stood there for almost 15 minutes with not one person just giving me a heads up of what’s going on. I finally decided to go sit then wondered if I had been forgotten about since I was sitting at a table. A gentleman finally came out with my food. Luckily he wanted to go over everything even though I was in a hurry to go because a couple of things were not in my bags.

Over the last year the side dishes seem to have dropped a bit in my view. The cornbread is good, but no longer scrumptious. Sometimes the mac and cheese has less cheese than it used to. And they removed the markings that made where to stand in line obvious. But these are very minor, as the chicken consistently remains the moistest and most flavorful around. Other restaurants tend to overcook, yielding dry, hard breast meat; not these guys. The chicken soup here also is really good. You can choose it as one of your sides, or as your main meal; all you can eat of it for less than $ 5. Also tempting to cheapskates like me is that buying two dinners(maybe it works with one) any day or night gets you a buy-one-with-drink/get-one-free the following Saturday. I have no connection with this place except as a happy customer who’d like them to be around for me for as long as possible. They never seem very crowded. Good so you don’t have to wait long, not so good for probable longevity.

I’ve been to this spot a few times and I love it because the food is good, the prices are decent and the portions are nice. Before this I’ve always heard of Boston Market but never been and I wish I did. I wish there were more around like Mc Donalds but anyway the food is so good to me. The last time I went I got a half of chicken and some sides. I couldn’t even finish the whole meal but I wanted to because it was so good. In my eyes Boston Market can do no wrong. I would eat more at Boston if there were more around but I guess I will just have to drive to this one.

WOOHOO… my family loves the Boston Market turkey and sides. Once again, visiting today didn’t disappoint. Best yet. I like the way I can buy sliced turkey for a dinner or sandwiches. It’s tasty and my daughter always requests the stuffing, no matter what… even if we’re eating sandwiches! Besides the food, I can always run in and get waited on quick… so, it makes it very convenient. I have to drive at least 30 minutes to get to this Boston Market, but I feel it’s well worth it. :)

I am very upset with this place! I called in to see if I could order a pre-cooked turkey, Felipe said I could order the 11 lb turkey pre-cooked, gave me the price said I could pick it up @ 9:30 am Christmas Eve!!! I called the next morning & said I’m running a little late but I will be there, the man said ok! When I got there, the manager said he had no order, I called the number and the lady said you talked to Felipe but he only had a 3 lb turkey??? What??? The manager seemed to be annoyed by me & barely said sorry! Never again!!! Customer service not happening here

I feel like Boston Markets have been around forever! I’ve been driving past this one for a while and decided to stop by and order to go on a weeknight around 8 pm. I thought it be a quick stop, but it turned into a 20 – 30 minute stop –_– They’ve got their food on display here, I thought it be a quick line. But it wasn’t, there was another guy in front of me that seemed to have been waiting awhile for his to go food as well. I ordered: chicken bowl, included some shredded chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, and gravy. Definitely comfort food and it was pretty good. but the service was really slow.

So I see The Boston Market sign which I haven’t seen in awhile since a lot of them have shut down … Now I know why… I walked in … 4 people passed me… No line by the way… No acknowledgment no greeting I’m standing there ready to order and instead they help the person who just walks in! Hello! I’m not invisible … I just straight walked out. Food mixing in the bins and it was enough to make me walk out ! Thanks but no thanks … Next place can take my money instead !

Now being from the South this Fatkid(me), knows what it takes to have a good meal on a Sunday Night. After all it is chicken day. There’s a few things that you need for a good Sunday Night dinner. You need good folks, good chicken, a vegetable, a side dish(mac n’ cheese or a starch), corn bread, and some Southern Sweet tea. Well let me tell y’all this… Boston Market in Carlsbad, Ca delivers 5 out of 6 of these easily. The customer service is excellent and the food, well the food speaks for itself. Chicken, meatloaf, pot pies, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, corn, spinach, corn bread, etc. «ITDOESN’T MATTER» it’s all good and a welcome treat for a Sunday Night dinner feast… Well that’s it for me on this one, «Until next time America», this is Big Sid out.

Much much cleaner than the last time I was here. Seems as if management is finally paying attention. They have a good product. And now it seems someone figured out to keep the place and tables clean. good job.

5 stars! Great food great prices! Friendly and accommodating staff! Boston Market is my husbands favorite. I saw it as I was passing through the area one day. He mentioned he really liked this place in the past and so I let him know about it and suggested we go for dinner one night. I hadn’t been there in years and could only remember they served meatloaf or something. When we got there I was delightfully surprised as you can see all the deliciously warm food behind the glass. Everything looked really yummy. With perfectly formed corn bread lined up in rows, steaming hot entrees. My husband got a 3 piece dark meat chicken plate with two sides(mash potatoes and corn) and corn bread. I got the chicken tortilla soup and then we got a chicken and mac n cheese with corn bread for our son. And we got two waters and sons meal came with a drink. For all that we only paid 14 something! The customer service was really nice with the staff answering all our questions. Before We started to order the staff let us know the turkey wouldn’t be ready for another 10 minutes. We hadn’t planned on ordering that anyways but thought it was considerate to tell us. It also clued me in to that fact that there food is cooked fresh. When they asked if I wanted cheese on my soup, I said just a little and then the gentlemen offered to put it on the side for me. At checkout as my husband was paying I told him if he’d be able to carry our food so I could use the restroom and the guy said he would carry it. When we sat down I told my husband, didn’t his come with cornbread? And also that I needed a spoon for my soup. He went to the counter to ask and came back with a spoon and an extra cornbread. I thought that was very generous and great responsive compensation. I really enjoyed the food. It was all really tasty and high quality. It all tasted very home cooked. It was also nice that they serve there food on real dishes and silver wear. I can’t wait to go back and try some of there other foods like the sweet potatoes, creamed spinach, and turkey. Glad I found them. :))

I have been going to Boston Market for years now because I have a strange addiction to the chicken carver… Having one in Carlsbad is an added plus :-). This location is a bit on the old side, but the service and quality of the entrée is actually quite good. Grab a chicken carver with a couple of sides and you can’t go wrong… Loving the Rosemary potato spears and the Mac n cheese.

I came here on Thanksgiving — So maybe not the best day to review(or maybe it is!). This place was a freaking disaster. There were piles of empty catering boxes and an un-organized array of pies everywhere. The employees were not friendly in even the slightest bit. I get it, it’s a holiday and you’re here making some hourly wage(double on a holiday!) feeding people too lazy to cook. The thing is, I worked at Boston Market in high school and college. I’ve worked on Thanksgiving. The messy, sloppy restaurant is unacceptable. The attitude of the workers is just awful. A friendly, clean experience should be expected. :(
