I’ve been coming to Bella Junior for a year now and I’m so happy with my hair. She actually listens to what I want and thanks to her, I’ve been able to really grow my hair out long! Why do so many hairdressers want to chop chop chop, lol?! I get blonde highlights but my hair is still healthy. Also, she is so fast! It usually only takes and hour and a half. At places I’ve gone to in the past, I’ve just about had to pack a lunch! Never any pressure to buy product or get add-​ons that you don’t need. Bella is always pleasant to talk to also. Small shop and several times I’ve had the whole place to myself– talk about feeling pampered!

Claudine’s awesome. I’m super picky about my highlights and she did an incredible job. I’m new to the area and was hesitant about having to try a new stylist after finally finding my stylist in San Francisco (see Jennifer Tovani in Mill Valley if needing highlights or extensions in Bay Area) BUT I met Claudine and walked out of our appointment shocked by how much I loved the outcome. On top of being extremely talented, Claudine may just be one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She genuinely cares about her clients and even followed up to make sure I was happy with results! She’s great with extensions too and will work with you on pace and price. I highly highly recommend.-

I have been going to see Bella Junior for almost 6 months and I couldn’t be happier. I went to a different salon in Encinitas and I was horrified with the highlight job they gave me. I saw a woman in Whole Foods who had the most beautiful hair so I simply approached her and asked her where she got her hair done. She referred me to Felicity’s to see Bella and I’ve been extremely satisfied. Bella was able to cover up the mistakes the previous salon had made and she listened to what I wanted my end goal to be. I have bleach blonde highlights but am trying to grow my hair out as long as possible while keeping it healthy. I can tell I’m on the right track to get to my end goal.
Since it has been 6 months, I can really tell how nice the highlights Bella did are turning out. I have recommended her to anyone looking for a cut or color. She is reasonably priced and fun to talk to. Everyone who works in the salon is extremely nice and the salon itself is super cute.
I’ve lived in San Diego for 4 years and have tried salons in downtown san diego, pacific beach, la jolla, and encinitas. Bella Junior is the best I have had.

A very cute shop in a great area. Michelle B. is the best out there. I have been going to her for close to 20 years and have always loved my hair. She is the only person I trust 100% with my hair and I would recommend her to anyone.

Michelle B. is the best stylist around. Will do exactly what you ask, though she’ll let you know if it won’t work or if she doesn’t think it’s you. Fair prices for the phenomenal job she does. I’ve been going to her for years and she’s never disappointed!
