THEBESTPIZZA! My husband and I love it here. They are quick and efficient and estimate your pickup time correctly. They are friendly and all around awesome! The pizza crust is thin and crispy, the best I’ve ever tasted and their specialty pies are soooo yummy! We have several pizza places closer to our house. But we will drive and make the time to go here because it is that awesome! Highly recommended!

Pesto and the BBQ chicken are the go to slices here. Pizza and customer service here are top of the line. Lost Abbey next door makes this place even more appealing for a meet up spot with friends.

Went here for a snack this afternoon. It was really fast and tasty. The pie has a nice thin crust with the perfect ratio of sauce to cheesy goodness.

Didn’t even get a chance to try these guys. I tried calling three times over five minute, between 7:35 and 7:40 p.m. On Minday, April 4, 2016, and the employee would answer then immediately hang up. Three strikes and you are out. There is waaaaaay too much pizza competition around here for that attitude. See ya.

I just tried to order a delivery for a two topping pizza with one half two toppings and the other half two different toppings. They tried to charge me for a whole two topping pizza plus the cost of adding two additional toppings(paying for 4 toppings on the entire pizza). When I questioned this he got short with me and hung up on me. I’m a 15 year local. Way to go guys! Update(I received a nasty insulting message calling me a Diva and using lots of «?!» after leaving the above review). Apparently these guys are total asses who can’t do math or think critically. I ordered only two toppings on the whole pie. I used to go here for slices. My son and his friends went here too. Decent food. Nice combos. Soggy sometimes. Still not bad… But nothing justifies being super rude on the phone(and hanging up) when I was asked for an explanation of charges and now a horrific message because I mentioned the bad service in a review? Good job. Other managers apologize and get to the root of the issue. Maybe go back to the East Coast or Florida or wherever. Cardiff doesn’t need your attitude. A lot of you newbies are total douche bags. I’m not even surprised. You just don’t get it.

I really like pizza places that let you order by the slice; and this one was both fast and tasty. It’s a great lunch choice for me, as it’s just a few blocks away from home and is really convenient. I did have troubles deciding which pizza to order(a good problem in my book), and went for the pepperoni, but the BBQ Chicken looked really good, too. I think maybe I’ll go back today for lunch and try out that BBQ Chicken.

Love this place, My girlfriend and I come for lunch in between class. You can’t beat the two slices and a drink for $ 6.50! The spicy chicken and Hawaiian bbq are to die for. I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing some pizza!

Have friends who live by and this is their go to pizza place. New York style which is to say thin crust. Really thin. We took it back to their place and dove right in. Before I knew it I was slices in and there were no complaints. Not too greasy, but thinking back it was perhaps a little wanting of the toppings we ordered. Not bad, I’m sure we’ll be back!

Awesome thin slice pizza by the slice. It’s great to be able to try any of the choices and either stick with it or move onto the next flavor. My recommendation is do both. Find the winner and make it your first choice and reach deep into the pizza slice abyss for slice number two, or three depending upon how hungry you are. That way you got a piece you love and lived on the edge with your subsequent selection. My favorites are Pesto, Hawaiian BBQ(if you like bbq sauce, ranch, and pineapple) and BBQ chicken(also has barbecue sauce). The guys you serve it up here are always very friendly and get things done quickly and efficiently. This is definitely a place worth checking out if you like thin slice pizza.

Being a native New Yorker, this pizza is where it’s at! The stuft pizza is delicious and prefect heavy food for a hangover. The regular pies are as close to NYC pizza that you can get, I’ve seen complaints about the dough being thin but that is exactly how it’s supposed to be. Staff is super friendly!

It’s 11:10, opens at 11. We’re sitting at the counter. Employees are in back doing stuff. Both guys see us sitting there, we make eye contact, we wait since surely they are getting what they are doing done then will come by. After a few minutes, Nothing. We make sure they see us again, then ask if they’re open, they say«no, Another 10 minutes». We bail. Messed up. Scratched from my list of options for now on.

Pretty good deal, $ 6 for 2 slices of pizza and a drink. They also have a good deal for the kiddies, $ 4 for a slice and a drink. My husband and i split the deal and our kiddo ate her entire slice. We came here at about 2ish on a Sunday and they were already out of a number of pizzas. I was really looking forward to trying their spicy chicken but they were all out. Oh well. I’ll have to call ahead next time.

Whoa, what happened here? My go-to place really let me down last time — as you’ll see from my pic of the inside of the crust, my pie was not close to being done when they sliced and boxed it up. I loves me some pizza dough… but after it’s been baked, not when it’s raw. As I was eating it, I noticed that the usual acidic tang was missing from the cheese — this pie tasted cheaper, more like everyone else’s in California and not reminiscent of the East Coast ‘zza I grew up(and out) on. I will give the folks at ECP another shot but I’m hopeful the pie-spinning talent didn’t move south to Hillcrest… cuz there *is* a Lost Abbey tasting room next to this location!

This is a decent pizza place, definitely no frills. You can order a whole pizza or what’s seems to be the norm is to order by the slice and they heat it up in the oven. They have a good selection; bbq chicken, pesto, Hawaiian, combination, pepperoni, cheese, etc. They have a good deal, 2 slices and a 16 oz drink for $ 6.00. It’s good for teens out for the night or families who want something cheap and easy… It was like upgraded food court pizza. I’d rather have gone to Luecadia Pizza, Blue Ribbon Pizza or Urbn.

I come here all the time with my boyfriend when we want GOOOOD pizza! Plus drink is free when you order something. The pesto and Hawaiian BBQ is a must have and is cooked very thin but still pretty amazing. There are a couple good pizza places close by but this has got to be the best. They have an outstanding and efficient staff who are always on the go. 5 stars for great staff, great pizza, and small yet CLEAN facility.

This place is pretty damn tasty, little ashamed I haven’t been down here before. You could say this place is a Flippin’ Pizza clone(or vice versa), but you’d be wrong. Both tout New York Style pies, but Flippin’ is a thicker crust that you can do a full fold. East Coast sports delicate crisp-crust pies, with a thinner base cooked to near firmness that you only have to give the gentlest pinch on the edges to keep upright. Must say, that’s impressive pie making right off the bat. Light on the sauce, the way it should be with such a thin crust, and a great flavoring in the toppings. We got six slices total, starting with two of the Pepperoni. Lightly spicy, not too greasy, cheese has a bit of herb mixed in that serves it very well. Next was a slice of Meat Lovers. Have to admit, even though too much wouldn’t serve well on a thin slice of New York style, my girlfriend still would have liked to see more meat before she truly would have called it ‘Meat Lovers.’ Still, good flavor like the pepperoni before it, not too greasy either despite what went into it. On my plate was the BBQ Hawaiian, an interesting take on the olé’ ham and pineapple. The BBQ sauce had cooked down to join the crust in crispy hardness, but not in a bad way; kind of like a sweet, caramelized glaze on top. Still, like the Meat Lovers before it, very light on the other toppings mean that the pineapple and ham get lost in that sweet. We followed that up with the Buffalo Chicken. Smothered in buffalo sauce with a good amount of heat, and then drizzled with a little ranch for balance. This was yummy, pairing with the way the crust was cooked very well, but still suffering from the earlier problems of the Meat Lover and BBQ Hawaiian as the chicken itself was lost in the red haze. The yellow peppers, however, still had a great bite and were worth looking forward to with each chew. Last on our table was the Artichoke Special. I was a little trepidatious about this one was, given my aversion to pesto, but it was light enough that the basil and garlic actually complimented the artichoke instead of overwhelming them with flavors that can very easily overwhelm. Very well done, and good pizza all around. So, nice little shop with a great bar to sit at on the inside and outside and soft drinks on tap instead of one of those flavor machines that are all the rage these days. And a 2 slice and a drink combo for $ 6 top it all off. On the downside are its location, next door to pet trimming boutique which … I’m sure its clean and all, but its kinda gross to see freshly shorn pups dogs being paraded constantly by as you sit on the patio with an open plate. It also shares an area with Rimel’s /Zenbu, which just brings down the overall atmosphere of all the places around it. And last are the flies … which you expect to see near the beach, outside and all … but in the shop buzzing and landing on the pizzas … a little irksome even beyond the possibility of dog hair floating around everything. A lot of that they can’t really help, but a candle or a screen door probably wouldn’t hurt. Still, good food and a strong 4-Stars.
