Union Station Restaurants

My third time to union was for New Year’s Eve. To be honest my expectations were low as my first two experience were good, but didn’t see this as a restaurant that could pull off a nice New Year’s Eve pre-​fix meal.
I was wrong
Based on my two previous visits and driving by I had come to recognize this place as happening social bar that could serve a decent meal. On New Year’s Eve, they impressed me from the time we arrived. They were quick to seat us and even move us to a more accommodating booth, that was over sized for our party but which was much more comfortable. The waiter was excellent. Not pushy, great knowledge of their menu and very attentive. I never felt like he was trying to turn over the table quickly or suggest the most expensive options.
Our food was great. Interesting, but delicious salad with kale and a soft boil egg. Main course was steak that was cooked perfectly and desert had a decadent chocolate bread pudding.
Very impressed over all and especially for the wonderful service on New Year’s Eve. I will be back.

I love Union Station. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
I went by myself for Thanksgiving dinner my family is back East and I prefer to go at Xmas time. What a great experience having my Thanksgiving dinner here. First, the food was absolutely delicious. The chef and his kitchen staff really outdid themselves. I never expected such a great Thanksgiving meal at a restaurant. Just as enjoyable was the manager. She was incredibly gracious, checking in on myself and others. She clearly wanted to ensure everyone was enjoying themselves and had everything they needed. I can’t say enough about how wonderful she is. The rest of the staff were friendly as well — even working on Thanksgiving.
I had been once before. I will definitely return. The front is open to the outside, which is great for ambience.
