I just got a facial by Deanna and by far the best facial I’ve ever had! My skin looks and feels fantastic and love the product Naturopathica used throughout my treatment that I had to buy some to add to my daily regimen. The vibe here is all conscience to health and well-​being, and up-​scale elegance with a view of the ocean. I have to come back, thank you!

I’m not sure what I did before I found Gayle. I have done everything from a routine vitamin B injection, Myers Cocktail IV after a bikini competition, immune + vitamin B + recovery before a Crossfit competition while I was super sick to some EXTRA HOT Rock Star shots as a pick me up. I love this place, value her advice, and couldn’t live without Body Blü. Charming, intelligent, knowledgable, friendly, and she’s a beautiful blonde. Love and adore her.

Okay, I’m not even sure how to start this review without getting too corny or emotional or all of the above. Over the course of the last three years, I have been on one hell of a health journey. It all started after a long and exhausting year of trying to get pregnant for the first time. Doctors appointments, ultra sounds, the works — and NEVER did my OB (or beyond) figure out what was wrong with me. Then came Dr. Gayl Hyde. Dr. Hyde did an exhaustive round of blood work, questionnaires and beyond. SHE was the one who got down to the nitty gritty of what was going on with my health and put me back on the road to health. She was the ONLY doctor that was willing to dig deep and figure out the ROOT CAUSE of what was going on. What she required of me was some pretty drastic life changes (diet is key), supplementation and a natural thyroid medication. 3 months after this — bingo — baby on board. Fast forward a few months postpartum with my first little person, when I started feeling REALLY wonky. My anxiety level was off the charts, my body ached, my eczema was raging, my sex drive was nil — I could go on and on regarding my symptoms. My OB, after a simple TSH blood draw, called to tell me that my levels were off the charts and could offer me nothing but upping my dosage of thyroid meds. Dr. Hyde! Stage right! Once again, THE one who dug deep and actually figured out what was wrong with me — Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. Thank you, Dr. Hyde. Thank you for putting me on the pathway to recovery through a very specific regimen of thyroid medication, supplements, diet (AIP) and beyond. I can now say, with confidence, that my Hashimoto’s is in remission and I am actually OFF of thyroid medication. And with that, my eyes are welling up. Thank you Dr. Hyde — from the deepest depths of who I am as a human being — thank you.

My husband and I came here with a lot of skepticism… and I was especially surprised with how effective, charming and comfortable of an experience this was! While visiting family in Cardiff, we got a call from our NYC doctor that he was shockingly low on B12 (he has a family history of Pernicious Anemia!) so we found the happy hour B12 shots. I myself was feeling sluggish and generally low after days of celebration with family and I decided to plunge right in and get the extra rock star boost. Within 24 hours we both felt remarkably better!!! I felt a deep energy I hadn’t experienced in months, but confess to having felt very whoozy a few hours after the shot which I didn’t mind at all. The Doctor and receptionist spent a lot of time answering questions, and made me feel so very comfortable! Returning home inspired I was sure I could find something comparable in NYC of all places, but haven’t yet. What a wonderful service Body Blu provides! I’m so grateful I found Dr. Hyde. Actually she was recommended to me. I was suffering for awhile with some unpleasant symptoms and while I knew something wasn’t right, my original GP failed to do some very basic testing based on my symptoms. Dr. Hyde knew immediately what to test for and she found out what was going on with me. I was able to start a treatment plan that has been helping me and that I feel really good about. With Dr. Hyde I am getting the appropriate care I need. I also love that she is a Naturopath and MD so she can look at things from many angles for a truly holistic approach to medicine and care. And not to mention she is incredibly kind, thoughtful and knowledgable as is her staff. For the first time I feel like I have a doctor I feel comfortable going to with my concerns and that I’m not just a number. Did I mention I feel better? I have. Had a great experience with dr. Hyde. very professional and patient driven. I have had a chronic ankle injury and with a 3 week treatment plan it was gone and I could lift and surf and performed good as new. I also had a wrist injury that I was unable to move or rotate and same results with starting around 50% to after 4 weeks of treatment 95%. Nothing but great things to say.

I have been seeing Dr Hyde for a couple years now & absolutely LOVE her! I’m a regular at the shot bar and look forward to my visits. On numerous occasions Dr Hyde has answered my questions re: health, diet, etc. The few times I’ve been sick or experienced pain due to hormones & fatigue she has cured my symptoms with her special shot blends… I trust her and wouldn’t go to any other Doc in the area. I had the New Patient Consultation /​Acute /​Focused10:30 am IV Therapy /​Nutrient IV + Glutathione Push… Was absolutely a breeze! IV rooms are clean, large, modern décor with a calming setting. You can take a nap there or just catch up on emails if you want. They have other amazing products available… But not one person pushes products for you to buy! I myself found I was naturally looking thru all the products they offer with a happy smile and refreshed positive state of mind after my IV therapy.
No pain felt getting the IV therapy, it lasted what seemed to me 30 minutes … Went by very quickly. Thank you Gayle and your much respected staff. I will defintalley be a returning patient back to treat my thyroid and immune system support. God Bless you all! P. S. Wonderful website great job.

Highly, highly recommend. Dr. Hyde is great. Can customize formulas specific for your needs. I go weekly now and feel sooooooo much better. Every city should be so lucky as we are to have Body Blu!

I know that I’ve been harsh on some of my past Unilocal reviews but I say it like I see it!
With that said, this place is the real deal! Dr. Hyde is awesome. A++ What I had done I call it the Trifecta! :) B-​12, PRP (plasma rich protein) and Biopuncture! Why go through all this you may ask? I am an injured Ironman triathlete looking to go the natural route that needs to be 100%. It’s been two days since my treatment and my hamstring is finally feeling better after weeks of pain. Prior to that I had massage, Graston, and cold-​laser therapy. Nothing worked… So to say that I am excited is to say that this is nothing short of a miracle!
I did notice that they have something called a «happy hour» for different B-​12 shots with excellent pricing! Always looking for a bargain! :) I’ll be back.
If you are an athlete or weekend warrior looking to speed up recovery like me, Dr. Hyde is worth your time.

I can’t begin to tell you how amazing Dr. Gayl and the team at Body Blu are. I initially emailed in with an inquiry and Eric was very responsive and informative.
On a recent visit to Body Blu, I was so ill — with what was diagnosed by my doctor as acute sinusitis. My doctor told me that I may need to take antibiotics to clear it up — and I really wanted to avoid that. I saw Dr. Gayl, asked her advice — and she gave me a shot to help reduce my symptoms and shorten the length of my illness. I can truly tell you it was nothing short of a miracle. Two days later I was feeling significantly better without having to take the antibiotics! Natural is the way to go!
I am a big fan of Body Blu and plan to be a regular customer…

Dr. Hyde and Body Blü deserve a rave. I was referred by a co-​worker who had a great experience and she was definitely right! I’ve suffered from migraines for years and hate taking medications that leave me feeling drowsy. I had gone to see Dr. Hyde a few other times for B12 shots and was thrilled with the results. One day I was suffering from a particularly grueling migraine, and she was kind enough to mix together a migraine shot for me. Within 30 minutes I felt like a new person. Nothing has ever worked that fast and effectively on my migraines. I recommend stopping in and checking out her office it’s super cute and retro you feel like you’re on the upper east side in Manhattan. Her staff doesn’t try to sell you on things you don’t need, and they are so friendly and honest.
Not to mention every Wednesday and Friday there is happy hour from 2pm-​5pm offering B12 shots along with others at discounted prices. My favorite is the Extra Hot Shot, you’ll feel amazing after and you’ll be happy you did!

Prior to a health decline in 1993, my need for doctors were limited to my annual physical. When I starting getting sick in ’93 I went through a LOT of doctors on a monthly basis as well as working around a number of doctors. First, a little about me. I have a tricky back, meaning a pretty significant scoliosis along with a very physical job (chiropractor), and a chronic back spasm. I have lost 20 pounds, bought a new bed, done hot yoga, all of which helped my symptoms, but not to the point of being totally relieved.
Along comes Dr. Hyde and her introduction of biopuncture. She explained to me how the treatment worked and what kind of results I should expect. At this point, I was ready to have Botox injected into the offending musculature, but she assured me that wasn’t necessary and that her treatments would give relief. Well, she sure knocked my socks off.
I went ahead with my first treatment, it felt like acupuncture and wasn’t bad at all (and I’m a baby about needles). The procedure took maybe 5 minutes and I was done and on my way. She did warn me that I might have increased symptoms over the next 48 hours, but that was to be expected. Well, let me tell you, I didn’t have any increase in my symptoms and my back muscles felt more relaxed the next day. So much so that I was able to lay on my left side and haven’t been able to do this without pain for over a year. It has now been 5 days since my treatment and I am feeling great. I think that the biopuncture was a breath of fresh air and I look forward to a few more treatments to ensure my back completely recovers.
Dr. Hyde’s knowledge and caring bed side manner are to be commended. I will recommend her to patients, family, and friends. I drove from Los Angeles to go see her and am very happy that I did. So go, thank me later!
