I went down there today to simply ask if there were any spots available for next weekend to possibly have a birthday campout for my son. the older man in the little booth was extremely rude and Condescending, based on this experience I will make alternate arrangements for the campout. The reason I gave this place 2 stars and not just 1, is because it is a nice campground but there are no campfires, and the spots are literally just spots one right next to each other, but I can see why people like it because it has a great spot on the lake. I have lived down the street for many years and this was the first time we were going to actually camp here and it’s a shame the he ruined it for me.

This campground is small but sweet. The lake access sites are great for smaller rigs. The level sites for big rigs are on the top of the campground. The views of the lake are terrific here. If you have a kayaks bring it. Kevin and I had a good time with my sister’s kayak. The staff keep the campground clean.
I saw fishing boats, water skiing boats & kayaks on the lake. The birding was good. We had a nice time. If were invited back I would love to camp here again.
Other amenities we used: At the clubhouse, the swimming pool is a good size pool & it’s clean.
