I love this place. Quality help in the garden center. Quality plants, mulch, and seeds.
It is not cheap, but quality stuff usually costs extra. For example, one year we wanted to save money and bought our mulch at a bargain discount place. We have more weed in our flower and veggie beds than ever before. Now we’re committed to Rice’s and don’t have that problem.

After reviewing the work and reviews of several of the area’s leading landscape contractors, we interviewed the ones that we considered the top 3. Our deck in the back of our house was in dire need of being redone. Rice’s Nursery presented the best plan. There crews were professional and courteous. The job was completed on time and looks great. That was almost 2 years ago and it looks like new. Thank you Kevin Rice and crew !

Rice’s has been the «go to» store for years for our family. The presentation and quality of plant materials, trees, shrubs and related gardening accessories make this a destination for us even at «off season» times of year. Their staff is consistently patient, well informed, and eager to help. Great job to all of you at Rices!

Love Rice’s — The plants I buy there are sturdy and guaranteed. The topsoil is dry and clean. AND when my tree guy come and drills out the stumps he is able to take the drillings to Rices, pick up the topsoil, and be back to the house… now he doesn’t have to go back to Akron! Thanks Rice’s! The retail store bagged items are a bit pricey but on the other hand everything except the animal deterrent worked! I have used the moss kill, many fertilizers, bulb protectant, meal for bulbs, Hollyview products, and more. Pam is sooo nice!
