My husband and I were looking for a fireplace. We went to one fireplace store even though they were knowledgeable we were confused. So off we went to Fireside and Hearth and Home in Canton. The store is clean and well displayed. Our salesperson Mary was very informative and quite helpful. She did not steer us in the wrong direction. Our installers Jerry and Joe were excellent they took there time and made sure everything was lined up and fit. We are quite happy with our fireplace now just to figure out the remote even though Jerry explained it to us. It hasn’t quite sunk in lol.

Went to look at Boral. If you want to be ignored, disrespected and ripped off you have found the right place. These two employees (man and woman) had to be the owners and married.
The had zero business skills and were miserable at what they do for a living.
Went to a great place in Novi, on Grand River. Got the product for 50 dollars less a box.
Got respect, knowledge and a great price. Saved loads on our total job.
Fireside is a joke… a bad one.

I wish I can give these guys 0 stars.
I spent over 6000dollars for putting a new fireplace. Their guy came out took the measurements, installed the fireplace and guess what the crown is way off, the door is almost 6 inches short and it looks so bad. I took pictures went to the showroom, their reply is well the guy took wrong measurements we need a new door and crown which is going to be another 1200 dollars because it’s a special order not a standard size. But they can’t take the original standard door back. Ok that’s fine but they make you look like your order is very small they have bigger thinks to worry about. Very rude and dishonest. Also forgot to mention the remote doesn’t work anymore and I can’t even use the fireplace anymore because it heats the TV mounted right on top of it because there’s nothing to block the heat.
