If you want a real Mexican food this is the best they have the best sauces i love it its not a big place but is a really good food

I rarely leave reviews but this place is the best tacos I’ve had in the valley hands down. Huge portions, good pricing. What really has me coming back is their al pastor. It’s seriously the best! I dream about this al pastor! And this is coming from a Mexican who has had her fair share of authentic Mexican food. It’s pretty much the definition of a hole in the wall, I couldn’t find it the first time I looked for it. Bar only seating, fits about 10 ppl? You get to watch your food being made in front of you so that’s always a plus. My old job used to give me 30 minute lunch breaks and I’d never clock back in late. Fast, affordable, delicious spot!

I was utterly blown away by the Burrito Pastor! Best Mexican in a long long time. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

The service was actually worth 0 stars, but since I haven’t actually eaten here I’ll give 2 to be fair.
I called in about an hour ago to inquire about having my graduation party catered & I ask the guy on the phone if they cater and he immediately says «No.» Then he goes on to say they’re really busy over the next couple weeks. I’m thinking like okay that’s irrelevant to what I asked… so I respond saying, «Okay…so do you cater or not?» To which he answers, «Well yeah, but we just have a lot of catering orders right now.» So then I say, «Oh okay. so you actually DO cater. What is the minimum amount of people/​price to place a catering order?» And he replies, «50 people. And it’s $ 450.»
Mind you, I already know that they cater because they catered my friend’s baby shower a couple months ago and they had actually charged $ 400 to do it, not $ 450.
So a message to the owner:
Your employees are compromising your business by providing false information and turning away customers who want to pay you for your services by being rude and lying about the prices. You should get them in check if you don’t want to lose out on business.
Side note: I just dropped off $ 400 in cash to have another place do it for me. That would’ve been $ 400 in your pocket right now. Sucks to suck.

The ceviche is amazing! This place is super cheap! Only down side is that it’s hot as hell inside!

I have come here for over 15 years!!! not once has the food quality or food portions has changed! This is the BEST mexican food in the valley. Cooks and everyone has always been nice to me. Hole in the wall, YES but the food is well worth it! You will not be dissapointed.

Excellent tacos and burritos. I had 4 tacos: carne asada, lengua, pastor and carnitas. They were all delicious with tons of flavor. The lengua was especially tender, probably one of the best I’ve had. My friend had the lengua burrito and he said it was equally delicious.
The guys working here are hard workers and pleasant. I’m amazed to see them navigate so well in such a tiny kitchen. They use every inch of that space and do a good job keeping it clean. I love legit hole in the walls.

Best tacos in the valley! Made fresh in front of you and the meat tastes so good! It’s a little hole in the wall place, which are always the best. They serve you chips with beans and salsa when you eat there.

This place is so bomb. I’ve been coming here for years and their food and service is on point. You walk into a literal hole in the wall and the men behind the counter conjure up the most amazing Mexican food in the greater Los Angeles area. The menu is simple now that they have new owners, but don’t let that deter you. They’ll give you chips w/​beans and salsa while you wait for your order!

Amazing little hole in the wall. Delicious. Authentic. Will definitely be back! Look carefully. This is tucked away in a side street next to a perfume store with no sign. Turn north off of Sherman way. Park immediately. It is on the east side of the street.

Been going to Aquarium city for a long time for salt water aquarium things and we finally stopped in for some food here, and it is REALLY good!
You get complimentary chips that have really good beans and a redish salsa that is just the right amount of spiciness. Good aguas frescas and probably the best al pastor I’ve had in the valley!
There was a group of us and we got the al pastor tacos plus combo plate, carne asada super burrito, and there were no complaints from anyone – only full bellies and happy faces!
Only downside is very limited seating.

I was introduced to this place by my awesome co-​workers. I have only tried the chicken tacos but they are soooo good I don’t want to try anything else. I hear the burritos are amazing too but just love those chicken tacos!
There isn’t a lot of seating available, this place is small and it does get crowded but honestly it’s totally worth it!

I used to think Chipotle had the best burritos. And then I tried El Tapatios #6.
This is about as good as it gets in terms of flavor and options. I haven’t tried all the meat options they carry, but of the ones I have had, the pastor and the suadero (marinated beef) are my favorites. And holy cow, that suadero is the best you’ll ever have. They used to have much better value, but recently the size of the burritos have gotten smaller, and the new management has upped the price of all the items.
I’ve only ever had the burritos there, but my friends love the nachos, quasedillas, and enchiladas. And you get unlimited free chips with house gravy/​sauce/​beans.
Definitely worth trying if you’re in the valley!

This place has great deals and truly is a hole in the wall. Place gets busy because it is so damn good! These guys work hard and make good food. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area and want to grab some authentic Mexican food.

Amazing food. We had carne asana, pollo, carnitas, and pastor tacos. All were great, but if I had to choose my least favorite, I’d vote out the carnitas. The al pastor burrito was amazing as well. First of many visits.

#5 Two Al Pastor tacos and their combination. Sooooo good! I’m from LA, so I’ve been looking for a taco spot that can compare to what I’ve had over there. These definitely hit the spot! Definitely will be coming back.
Only downside, is the size of the place. Other than that, great service, and delicious food!

This place is perfect !!! The food is just on par with Tacos way, it reminds me of a 50’s diner only real real small and Mexican lol !
I love it, I will come here until the day I get the best heart attack ever, this is my hope and my dream!

¡Si de tacos se trata, a Taqueria El Tapatío No 6 tienen que ir! Encontré éste «puesto» gracias a Unilocal y tengo que decir que los tacos de carne asada y de lengua que probé estaban deliciosos. Los precios son super económicos y la calidas de la carne es muy buena!
¡Se los recomiendo!
