I had a bit of a plan as to what to order but I was waylaid. I woulda, shoulda, coulda checked their online menu or Unilocal profile before coming. Oops. The whole experience was a bit confusing for me, starting with the menu. The typeface was very hard for me read. It’s also a bit limited. For example, this is the first place I’ve been to where korma wasn’t served. At 7 pm, they were all out of naan. Not a bad thing; just something I didn’t realize could happen. The guys working there were super nice and trying to be helpful. It’s just that I really wasn’t sure we were communicating. I tried to order the Mango Madness. Could have sworn they said it was gross before they directed me towards the lemonade. First time I’ve ever had people put down their own product. Not sure if that’s really what happened or something else was going on like they thought I was too American to enjoy anything other than lemonade. Speaking of another point of confusion, they said the final price was $ 32.68. I gave them $ 33.08. I got no change. The food itself was delicious. Prices are great considering how much food you get for the money paid. If my eyes could understand what is written on the menu on the wall, I’d most likely go back.

Freaking Closed All day, Everyday! But they could use my 10% off from Unilocal? The worst part is they have me a 4 hours deadline! Last month when I checked it there was at least a sign reading«renovating» now there is nothing mentioned regarding why it’s closed but on Unilocal,it says it’s open.

CLOSEDFORRENOVATION. Although this restaurant is listed as open on Unilocal,as of 7÷8÷15, it was closed for renovation. There was an earlier review in March which said that the restaurant was closed for renovation then. I don’t know whether it’s been closed the whole time(which makes me wonder about the intervening reviews) or whether this is a subsequent renovation(which seems kinda unlikely). In any event, call before you go if you want to try them. I’d be very happy to try them and amend my review then.

Ok so I did not go there for their ambience so I am only reviewing the food and it is awesome. Chicken 65 and goat biriyani are hands down winners. I tried their food at a catered event too and it was very good. Did take out several times and they are consistently good– only thing is the wait time for the take out can be unpredictable and long but good things come to those who wait and B3 is good stuff for sure:)

Cant believe this place is closed! It said closed for renovations with no mention of when it will re-open. I have been frequenting and its been closed for over 2 months! If it isn’t for construction the least they can do is let their patrons know that they arent going to re-open?

How should I rate this when the restaurant is closed for renovations? Bought a certificate from , but was disappointed when we see the paper sign and the lights out. Doesn’t say when the renovations will be done.

The food here is excellent! The ambiance could probably use some work but who cares in this casual eatery if there is great food served? They have a take out and also a sit down part of their restaurant. We tried the chole bhatura which was amazing and came in a big portion. The food was super fresh and the bhatura was amazing. We also got the veggie platter which had a curry, rice and naan and daal. The curry we got was paneer tikka masala which was sooooo good. The naan could use some work. We also got bhel puri which was good and some fried jalapeño things which were delicious. The food was super reasonably priced as well. Chole bhatura was only 6ish dollars and the veg platter was 7ish. Of note, we have had an event catered by this restaurant and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this place if you like innovative Indian food that is a bit different than traditional Indian restaurants.

Just pick up some togo. Chicken masala and rice. Good portions for $ 9.00, another indian restaurant in reseda and devonsire offers $ 8.99 eat all you can with lots of variety plus the nan were freshly bake and the place is a nice setting. Well just to fullfill cravings for indian. Taste is great. I got home taste it and its really yummy, so worth it. As I said I can eat the portion for 2 meals. Try it. Recommended.

Not really feeling this place. The food was OK. Since I loved the chicken tikka masala at another restaurant, I ordered it here but it was so-so. The chicken was tender and the sauce had a good creamy texture but it was too sweet. I did like that it came with free basmati rice. I also ordered garlic naan but it was pretty dry. Customer service is great though. The guy at the counter was nice and made sure the food accommodated my order(he accidentally made it spicy when I wanted it mild, so he remade it). It was a bit difficult to find the register in this place since the counter and kitchen is covered in glass panels. Just go up to the sign that says ‘order here’. Admittedly, I’m new to Indian food, so I’m not sure how the food is usually prepared or what it’s supposed to taste like. The food here might taste good to other people, but it just didn’t fit my taste.

So I work a couple stores down from this place And I always say I’m going to try it but never do because I’ve never had indian food and I wouldn’t know what to order but recently I made a friend and with their help o went in iPhone ready to read exactly what I was told to order. I ordered the Butter Naan and the Chicken tikka Masala to go and some garlic naan for my friend. We took it back to work to eat it and I’m seriously sitting here thinking I’m why have I not had Indian food before??? I LOVR it definitely recommend they are suuuper friendly and the mango smoothy is just bomb!

If you’re new to this place, it gets kinda confusing where the order desk is. I’m relatively new to Indian food so the whole menu was confusing to me, so I ordered what I knew, butter chicken on rice. I ordered it on the spicy side. This dish was creamy and flavorful, though admittedly I shouldn’t have been too ambitious on the spice level. The sauce was thick, just the way I like it. Honestly, I can eat the sauce alone on top of rice. So far I’m satisfied, prompting me to come back to try more adventurous dishes.

Food was tasty and fair priced. Portion was reasonable as well. It wasn’t the best Indian food but pretty good. Good service as well and they were able to answer my questions very throughly

Excellent Indian food for the price. Seems to be a family owned Restaurant, and the owners were very nice and helpful. Large portions and more than fairly priced. I had enough leftovers for a small meal afterwards. Food was ready in a couple of minutes. I will definitely be back again and recommend people try it if in the mood for Indian but don’t have the time or money to go to a sit down.

Overall not to bad. The owners were really nice inside and open to recommending something. I’m more of a curry guy but wanted to step out of my usual approach. They were quick for a to go order and everything inside is pretty clean. The setup is al ittle weird insdie but I personally really dont care about those things. All the prices on the menu are pretty fair. All the plates fall in the $ 6-$ 9 range. Chicken Biryani: Great flavor on the chicken, the rice was outstanidng with a couple different grains in there. Good spot for a local indian stop.

I was very disappointed, i really love Indian curry, and this place is really close to where i live. So i was hoping it will become my favorite restaurant near me. So… today i came and order Masala Butter Chicken curry, and a side order of garlic nan bread. When i get home and ready to eat, i saw a lot of dirt on the bread, as if it was drop on the ground and pick up, even worst cause there was a lot of it. So, i throw away the bread, but already lost the appetite. The curry was good, but it keep making me thinking what do i have in my curry, cause it really hard to tell with all of the stuff mix together and i doubt that they clean their kitchen. I don’t think i will come back to this place.

I can say this is like a south indian fast food place. I have a mixed review for the food here. Initially the owners of the restaurant used to take care of it. The food used to be soo yummy. Now some other guys started cooking. i was lucky to get the food cooked by the Owner most of my visits except the last one.

I’m a bit conflicted on how to rate this restaurant. When my husband brought me here the first time, we ordered the chicken 65, butter chicken and mango smoothie. We were so impressed by both the food and the mango smoothie. Raj, the owner, was friendly and although the food took a long time, it was delicious when it came out. Since then, we’ve been raving about this place to our friends and encouraged everyone to give this place a chance. I was ready to write a review and give them the full 5 stars. Today(Wednesday), we came here again. Raj was not here, in his place was a young Indian fellow who didn’t speak or understand English well. We ordered chicken 65, a chicken curry and chili chicken, plus a mango smoothie. The whole place smelled of soap, which is not appetizing, so I was glad we ordered everything to go. When we got the smoothie, my husband noted that it tasted«off» and wasn’t as good as usual. The food took forever to come… about 30 mins and there were only 2 customers ahead of us! By that time, we were starving, so we decided to sample the chicken 65 right away. The chicken is WAY too salty and lacked crispness. We felt the chicken was not fried fresh like before. When we got home and ate the rest of the food, we were so very disappointed. The«chili chicken» was a very plain stir-fry with no spices. It was bland. The only dish that was ok was the chicken curry. Even that was a bit on the sour side. Everything was just not good at all. So, my recommendation is don’t go on Wednesdays, or other days that the owner Raj is not there. We’ll likely go back and give it another try, but if it’s inconsistent again, I’m going to drop my rating to a 1 star.

Surprisingly wonderful! I drive past this restaurant twice a day: going to work, and heading home. Over the years, I’ve noticed that there have been many different restaurants opening and closing in this strip mall, so whenever one opens up, I like to give it a fair try. Since I love Indian food, why not give it a try here… I ordered a few dishes to go: Onion and Chili Dosa, Gobi Manchurian, Andhra Chicken, and Butter Chicken. All spicy hot, and yes they really do make it hot! Love it! My favorite here is the Butter Chicken. Gobi Manchurian has always been a favorite of mine, and they prepare it well here! They were great at suggesting items for me and knew exactly what I was looking to have for dinner tonight! I will be back to try the lunch specials shortly. I hope more people give this restaurant a try… I want this place to stay for a long time.

SOGOOD!!! YUM!!! This is a really great indian restaurant that does a lot of south indian food, but also does north indian. For those carnivores out there, the Chicken 65 is just scrumptious! The Chicken Manchurian and chili chicken is pretty yummy too, but the Chicken 65 is a definite must! We will definitely visit this place again and again so I will update my posts on dish recommendations! :) DAHIPURI also highly recommended! For vegetarians: I recommend chili paneer biryani, gobi manchurian, & butter paneer masala!
