Great pizza and a good beer selection(they had an Italian lager on tap) but the 5 star rating is for the service. A small beach town on a holiday weekend can be crazy. The staff did an excellent job. They even accommodated our giant baby stroller in their not so giant restaurant.

Whoever voted this place in the top 50 pizza restaurants in 1996 should be straight up stapled. That person clearly lost all tastebuds sometime before the last shark attack in Cannon Beach. The pizza was not even cooked. It was a bloated unflavored pile of filth. I mean the pizza out here is terrible but this topped the charts. Shameful!

Eating this pizza tonight made me very, very glad that I’m moving back to New England. I couldn’t live the rest of my place in a place that considers this to be how pizza should be made. To be honest, I would expect better quality pizza from a Saigon prison. It tasted like someone dumped an entire bottle of oregano on top of a frozen, store-bought pizza and then surgically removed all the sauce. Maybe this is considered good pizza for the North Coast, but not for me. Even my five-year-old son thought it was disgusting, and he thinks McDonald’s is great.

Beat pizza I’ve had in a long time. You wont be disappointed if you eat here. Buy a whole pizza for sure. If I ever make it back to Cannon Beach I would gladly wait two hours for this pizza, it was that good

This place is such a disapointement. Do not even give it a chance. Pizza crust is uncooked. Cheap chease. Why is the heater on inside. inside? You can have better a better Pizza at Chuck E cheese. The salad is a basic premaid store bought salad in a bag and old. The peas in the salad are horible taste. Just don’t go here. Pasta has sugar on it it’s sweet and gross. They Shoulda just left it plan or added Italian dressing Most.

Had dinner here tonight. Very expensive! Pizza not too bad but one pie and four soft drinks came to $ 65.00. Look at their prices for each item before you decide to eat here or you may be in for a big surprise when the check comes.

A Cannon beach treasure. 3.75 stars. Pizza is a competitive market and this is one stop you should put on your list for lunch. We stopped here for dinner because it’s tough to logistically feed 11 adults on an Oregon beach trip at 9pm. A great place for ultra casual dinning and Italian beer. Order with confidence.

Pizza A’fetta is a charming pizzeria tucked into a small plaza on the non Haystack side of town. We ordered the Smoked Basil Chicken pizza. It was really good. I usually don’t like whole slices of tomato on my pizza but these were very juicy, bright slices. All the ingredients tasted very fresh. I would have liked more seasoning which may be chocked up to personal preference but I definitely think there could have been a stronger presence of Basil, it being in the name and all. Over all a great experience. They handle food allergies really well and the manager and wait staff were really on top of the dining room, constantly surveying and making sure pizzas landed where they needed to in a timely manner. We will be back!

It’s not a great idea to go to a great pizza place when you’re not in the mood for pizza, but what’s a guy to do when the rest of the fam is calling out in unison PIZZA. I had the Thai Chicken Salad. I suspect if I had the pizza I would have given at least one more star, but that’s not what I had. The portion was very generous. While the peanut sauce wasn’t bad, I would have liked some heat to it. My biggest gripe is the texture of the chicken. It was warm but«mushy». Grilling it until it was cooked more would have made all of the difference in the world. Again, going to a pizza place and not ordering pizza? You’re gonna take your chances. The wife and vegetarian daughter had a half-and-half combo from two of their veggie options. I would agree that they do seem to have an extensive menu, even perhaps offering some items that you just plain won’t find elsewhere. The proprietor was justly proud of the effort he puts in to having a great tasting sauce. I’m sure the foodies out there will really enjoy hearing the story. The service was good. The pizza is ~$ 25 for the«medium» size. The wife and daughter both thought the taste was great. I’ll hold my opinion on the fairness of the price until I have some myself. It’s an old building, no air conditioning on an unseasonably hot day. The fan helped but it still was warmer than I would have liked. In general it’s got the bones to be a great experience and one that we will try again, the next time I’ll wait until I’m in the mood for pizza and I suggest you do the same.

Probably the best Gluten Free pizza I’ve ever had(and I’m not even GF, but my wife is). Good sauce, fresh toppings. Thin-ish crust but not crunchy, it still had a bit of doughy/chewiness to it(in a good way) that was just the right texture. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and one pie fed two of us plus a ton of leftovers.

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, breadsticks(pesto and regular), Caesar salad with chicken and the capriccio salad to go. The food was good. $ 53 and it filled our family of three and we had lots of left overs.

GF friendly. I let them know that I needed a GF pizza and asked about cross-contamination and they said other than the ovens & flour in the air they separate everything. The crust is pre-rolled from a Portland company and was better than some pizza I’ve had pre GF days. They said they used different set of ingredients, and even using the same oven used a separate pan. I didn’t have any issues with it. Was a $ 4 up charge for GF, but a great option to have out here and a very understanding staff that was happy to do what they could to avoid cross-contamination. Thank you!

Good fast service tasty pizza. Gluten free crust yummy. Pizza very big Very reasonable price. Small pizza easily feeds 4 – 5. Not the 3 – 4 as stated on menu. Will come back and try the salad that looked yummy at the next table.

Two stars because the meats and cheese were really good. The crust had no flavor and was a bit leathery… We also ordered a Caesar salad and it consisted of nothing but iceberg lettuce(which had been rinsed, but not drained of the excess water), mini croutons, a couple of capers, and some Parmesan. The dressing was so watery, we thought it may have turned. It wasn’t. But I wouldn’t call it dressing. I would call it white pepper water. 14″ pizza was $ 23. Want a bigger pizza? How about three more inches for ten more dollars??? The salad was $ 8. Altogether, we paid $ 31 for this disappointment of a dinner. I would have been better off getting a frozen pizza and a salad from McDonald’s. At least I would have known what to expect for my money and save a few bucks.

Stopped in last Saturday night. There were 2 tables occupied when we got there. Placed our order for 3 slices of pizza(these are already made and just need warming up). After we order the joint fills up. 20 minutes later 2 tables get served who ordered after we did. We ask about our food, they go back in the kitchen and ask if they put the slices in… About 5 minutes later we get our food. It was just ok, not great but not terrible… now the service left a bad taste in my mouth!

Hands down, best pizza I’ve ever had.(And I used to live in NYC.) I realized the thing I like most about it is that they put oregano on all their pizzas, but everything about it is good — the crust, the house-made sauce, all the toppings and cheeses are super fresh and just delicious. It’s certainly not cheap, but keep in mind they’re an independent business in a tiny town that, by town ordinance, doesn’t allow any national chain businesses, and nearly their entire economy thrives on tourism, so everything there is on the expensive side. Believe me, you get what you’re paying for and it’s worth it. Staff is always super-friendly, and when I used to live and work right near them, they knew me and even gave me free sodas a couple times because I came so often and tipped so much. I also love how they have the little back door where they sell by-the-slice, because most of their customers are coming on foot. My only two minor complaints are: 1. They don’t deliver, and the other pizza place in town, the quality of which pales in comparison, does(though that’s probably strategic and purposeful); and 2. Their in-store menus are outdated, and say that they still have a location in Portland, which got me super excited the first time I saw it(just recently) because that’s where I live now, but that location is closed down. But they do offer half-baked, take-home pizzas, so I got one of those on my last visit and was set for lunch for the next week :) Give them a try, they rock.

Hey I know you are in a tourist area, but can you rip us off just a little bit less? lol. It’s expensive, $ 40 for a small salad and a large pizza. We ordered half Tuscany Chicken and half Combo Meat. The combo meat was edible, not tasty, but edible if you are hungry. The Tuscany Chicken I was looking forward to trying, yet what a huge disappointment it was. So cow feta is the bomb, in case you didn’t know. But goat feta makes Betsy and her entire family want to barf, hurl, throw up, vomit etc… you get the idea. Not specifically theirs, but any and all goat fetas in the world. We take partial responsibility for not knowing that Montrachet was a type of goat cheese. But we also feel it’s confusing on the menu, enough so, that we wouldn’t have even thought to google it as would be easy to do. This is because the way in which it was written gave no indication it was even a cheese! If we knew at least it was Montrachet *cheese*, we could ask what kind or look it up ourselves prior to ordering. But when it says«our finely crafted Montrachet Sauce(oil based), Mozzarella cheese…» That simply makes it sound like some sort of oil sauce, whereas with the mozzarella you specifically say it’s a cheese, even though most everyone knows what mozzarella is, unlike Montrachet. Do you see my point? Considering this cheese is offered on almost all of the pizza’s it seems, I think it would be a good idea to perhaps indicate someplace on the menu that it is a type of goat cheese so others don’t also lose money buying something that they may not want. This is a rather spendy pizza, not a $ 5 Dominos pizza you can just toss out, so naturally there are higher expectations in at least knowing what you are getting. I did express my feelings to manager James F, but was ignored. Had he not ignored me, this may have been a 3 star, for good service, but neither service nor food was good to us.

This place was HALF four star pizza. My hubby and I ate here tonight and ordered our usual — half black olive and half pepperoni. Totally cool– right? Right– as long as the whole pizza is cooked fresh. Apparently the hubby’s order is much more common– leaving a convenient ½ pizza«pre made.» My half of the pizza was piping hot, delicious, fresh cheese, amazeballs. The hubbo’s half was cold, fairly hard, clearly had been sitting out for some time. The piece of pizza on his half that touched the olive topping on my half LITERALLY had a piece of pepperoni sliced in half on the edge– clearly showing that they had mod-podged our pizza together. It boils down to this– my half of the pizza was legit. My husband’s half was old and clearly sitting out all day. For that reason alone, we give the restaurant 2 stars. It didn’t feel good to feel like they disposed of their old pizza with us.

We stopped in here on a day trip out to the ocean. While the ambience is definitely lacking, the food is good. Don’t expect anything fancy as the inside is small and cramped but the food makes up for it. The pizza was delish as well as the salads. Breadsticks were good but nothing special. Service was average, not overly friendly but we were just happy to have a good meal. I would stop by if you’re looking for a quick bite or a good slice of pizza.
