First of all, I have been here before for dinner. Yesterday, I brought my out of town family here for dinner. The hostesses were very nice and our wait was expected. They greeted everyone who came in, even if they could not get to them immediately. Our waiter was a disaster. He was NOT rude; I will give him that. We waited excessively for everything. We literally had to work for our food and drinks. Our orders were simple(there were 4 of us). A few examples: we waited 20 min for our beer cheese dip, our meal orders came out 10 min apart. I asked if we could have bread, again a long wait. We ALL ran out of drinks.(Tea, water, and coke) and had to ask for refills, only 3 of us got them AFTER a long wait!!! It was 100 degrees yesterday… We could’ve used the refills:). What was memorable was the service, not the food. I was so disappointed and embarrassed for my guests. We tipped him of course, he needs more training or supervision.

The staff were great. Helpful, friendly, and prompt. The food was excellent. I had hot wings. The meat slid right off the bone, the wings were meaty, and the portion was excellent. However, as a hot wing they could kick up the the heat a notch. The wings had good flavor and that slight sourness I like in a standard hot wing but they were quite mild. The beer selection was great. I recommend anyone give this place a shot and will definately return.

Waiter was great, food was hot and fresh. Their food is a definite cure if you’re on an extended trip and are not sure what you want to eat. I ordered the mushroom with eggplant. Yummy!!!

Outstanding! Went on a lunch date with my husband he ordered the chicken fettuccini Alfredo and I ordered the Caesar salad, for an appetizer we ordered the fried pickles. The pickles are outstanding and not over salted as some places might be, I especially liked the green onions sprinkled on top. We would have never thought to do that but it really enhanced the pickles. The sauce on the Alfredo was the best my husband has ever had at a restaurant. The flavors were rich and it really left nothing to be desired. The chicken was grilled and tasted good and moist. The salad was also good, although after tasting the chicken in the Alfredo I wouldn’t gotten chicken in the salad.(Usually restaurant chicken is rubbery and gross, it would have been awesome on this salad from here.) We sat in the dining room and Besides the horrible love ballads playing in the radio had an amazing time. It was calm, the waitress was quick the food was fast and delicious. All this was they still took care of a rather large party on the patio. I’d definitely go back and hope the locals keep this place running.

Walked in and waited too long to be seated during lunch time. We were seated and scoped out the place. There was only one family of 5 and two other people drinking at the bar. This, however was simply too much for the staff of this establishment to handle. We waited 15 minutes before I became irate enough to search for my own menus. Sometime after we had a chance to look over this expensively prices menu, our large, blue haired waitress returned passing the blame on someone else that we had received acknowledgement as patrons. At this point we just got up and walked away. It’s a shame after reading so many other great reviews of this place. But then again, one user said that the restaurant has a certain air of «class.» I’m almost certain we have different definitions of «class» as it looked like a cheap biker/brew /burger joint.

Typical crappy American food. Hostess was missing from the front desk for over five minutes until we gave up to go to the bar, which also did not have an attendant. Food was bland and not prepared as advertised. Wine list for a «Twisted Grape» around the world selection was pathetic. If you are looking for mediocre pub food then this your place. If you want real food and service, find somewhere else.

We waited 20 min on Sat night without reservations which is not uncommon in the Fayetteville area. Our table ordered several dishes that we each sampled. Wine and watermelon beer were nice according to our friends feedback. The beer had light note of watermelon that wasn’t too overpowering. The fried calamari appetizer was a hit at our table with the addition of dried red and green peppers. Entrée of Shrimp & Grits was awesome and very creamy. The steak was nothing to write home about, but the chicken Diablo had a rich spicy flavor that reminded me of Louisiana cuisine. I passed on the sampling of the kids chicken strip dinner but it must have been good bc it was consumed! Our birthday guest was given a rich brownie & ice cream desert large enough to share with the table and it was rich as well. Our table ordered an extra desert of cream brûlée that was divine with light brown crispy crunch with smooth creaminess in each bite. Our server was nice and quickly answered our questions regarding ingredients due to our guest’s peanut allergy. No peanut oil is used in cooking as of April 2016. We will go back and ask to be seated in outside area. Loved the outdoor seating area, but the inside area is sparsely decorated and when seated near entry, it was quite loud(not bar area).

Certainly one of my favorite spots in the ft bragg area. I got a reservation and they had the table ready and marked with a reservation tent card. Very elegant. The concierge asked if i had been there brfore and if so who would i prefer as our waiter. Chris was our favorite and he was at our table in a flash. Shrimp diablo is also a siper dish. Wings are meaty and tasty with real blu cheese.

I was in the area. I decided to stop in for a drink. First of all, the atmosphere was so inviting. I sat at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant to talk to and suggested I try one of the appetizers. I had the mozzarella(fried). Unfortunately, I didn’t have time for dinner or I would have tried an entrée. If the appetizer is a preview to how good the entrée will be; this will be a restaurant I stop in every time I travel through the area. I will be back!

It is one of the few restaurants in the area that are not big chain. The waitstaff was great! The calamari was good. The hoagie was just ok. The bread was super chewy on the sandwich. The burger was good. The Parmesan fries were good. The desserts were very good!

I so want to give the Twisted Grape five stars(because it is nice to have classy little place in the neighborhood), but for now four stars will have to do. Here is the reason why… the food is bland. We ordered calamari for appetizers, the shrimp Diablo and the lamb sliders. In their defense the calamari with marinara sauce was really good, actually the marinara sauce made the dish and the added fried jalapeños was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the shrimp Diablo was under seasoned; even though it was loaded with giant shrimp, it needs a lot of heat if it’s to be called«Diablo» anything. The lamb burgers were flavorful but again it needed a little more seasoning. The tzaziki sauce which was supposed to be in it(and would have transformed the dish) I never tasted. Maybe they should put it on the side. So note to the chef do not be afraid to use seasoning!!! Also a little garnish on the food would help. Especially if you are trying to get people coming in for the food as well as the ambience. But we will be back again because we like the staff and the place. Now we don’t have to drive all the way to Raleigh :)

Nicely renovated with outside seating and separate sports bar area. Food was well prepared, nice selection of beer and IPAs and a good Reisling. Much improved over what was here before.

They are doing it right! Love the Crème Brûlée! Oh, and everything we ordered. I had Chicken Marsala and it was really moist. Sangria was good… Eggplant appetizer was crispy with a mildly spiced red dipping tomato sauce. Check this place out if you in the area or headed this way up Hwy 87.

Tried it twice. First time the service was horrendous but the food was tasty. Second time, there was chicken wings on the floor under our table when we sat down. I had to get our own water, silverware and ketchup and the food was worse. So it seemed the service still was bad but the food suffered as the restaurant expanded. I will not be trying it again. Great location but not a good restaurant.

This place is phenomenal. A refreshing touch of class to the area. This locally owned place has the best of both worlds. It has fine dining in the restaurant and an awesome bar and patio complete with outdoor pool tables, huge TVs and even an outdoor fire place that can be enjoyed even in inclement weather. The food is amazing. Its obvious they put pride in what they serve. I’ve had most of the things on the menu and pretty much everything is amazing, but the Shrimp Diablo is out of this world. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. I am SO glad to see this place open. It is definitely the«go to» place in the area.

Went in tonight to have a beer and order to-go. Service was great. Bartender was attentive. Beer selection is good. Orders the Shrimp Diablo and Chicken Parm, both were good and hold up great for To go. Caesar dressing is house made and good. They will be adding dip dish pizza this weekend and heaters are installed outside. Good restaurant for our in Cameron by far better than anything else remotely close to the area. Will definately be back. Have Sunday Ticket, TVs everywhere and a Good stop for NFL

Eh… I get the point they are trying to bring a high end eatery into our area. The food is ok the prices are outrageous. I get that they need money. And they are just starting out. That they have a lot of overhead to cover. However the food they serve for the prices isn’t a match. Hopefully the other half of their restaurant will be a better hit. They are still in their infancy and they are a local run business not a big corporation. So we will try to support them on at least a few more occasions. I hope they can stick it out and be successful!

My waitress Jen was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the food and complementary beverages. I ordered the salmon well and it was more on the rare side. Besides that everything was delicious. I had the cheesecake, which was very creamy. Price was decent. two glasses of wine, entrée and desert was 32.00

First off I want to say the food we had was very good, we will be back and hopefully enjoy The Twisted Grape as it transforms. We came here thinking it was a wine bar not a restaurant. That being said I was hoping for a better wine selection then what I can find in the local grocery store :(Boo We were greeted promptly and our server was super nice. Knowing this is a restaurant and not a wine bar will help plan my next visit around hunger. Not thirst I’m still in search of a great wine bar in the area. As for food, since we were expecting wine & cheese we ordered 3 appetizers which were more than myself and my man could finish. Plus 3 glasses of wine ran about $ 50… pretty sweet. Caprese Salad was a miss for me. As I can see they used a nice cheese I expect heirloom tomatoes or at least nice meaty red ones vs the tiny ½ ripeRoma we were served. The balsamic glaze seemed store bought & sweet, I’d prefer simple EVOO and balsamic. The meatball appetizer hit it out of the park! Tender and juicy and 3 large meatballs with two sauces… YUMMY and yes I will order this again. The flatbread with prosciutto and meatballs was another hit. Lost of meat on this one you could order this as an appetizer its the size of a small pizza.
