It blows my mind that you can still smoke in gas stations some places. This being one of them. The building is very outdated, and crammed full of stuff. Think bigger Truck Stop stuff but a lot less of it and some of it looks like it has been there since the 80’s. The bathroom were pretty trashed, no towels, and lack of clean and it was mid afternoon. The staff did seem nice and the prices were pretty good but, this place could defiantly use a remodel, a dusting, a no smoking sign, and a good wet mop in the bathroom.

Fuel stop on north side of US-36, kind older — undergoing remodeling. I found easy access to the diesel pumps, but when I was ready to hit the road, I wasn’t sure which way to turn for my exit. I eventually figured it out, but even then I didn’t really like driving past the gas pumps with my big-rig. Trucks and 4-wheelers don’t mix well in tight quarters.

The building is a little outdated but the staff is very nice. I used the restroom and the hot water never warmed up all the way, probably due to old pipes. Prices were typical of convenience stores and the coffee was hot and ready. Glad we stopped here. Would be 5 stars if the bathroom water was hot.

THEGASOFTHEDINOSAUR! A favorite for me on road trips, I mean, the logo is a freakin brontosaurus! At this particulat establishment, you can also stop in the 24 hour Nelly’s restaurant and lounge for a bite to eat, the nearby Subway, or the Jones travel mart which is full of necessary items and trucker fare… Showers and car wash, too. But really, I love it for the brontosaurus.
