Awesome authentic, durable products; awesome staff They don’t sell knock-offs You pay more for the hemp clothing, but the fabric lasts longer than cotton so it ends up being totally worth it

I’m here a the time, one of the best shops in the city. Everything from Jackets, to shoes, any kind of hemp clothing and products. Also an impressive selection of glass. I frequent both this location, and newbury st. I try to work in a trip to one of them every time I am in the city. I’ve made several trips this winter alone. Do yourself a favor and go here asap. Support these guys, this is one of the few businesses standing up against the stronghold of propaganda suppressing the hemp industry.

I’ve been coming to this shop for many years now and I wanted to take the time to finally write a review. If you are into the whole cannabis/hemp culture then this is the place to be. Without a doubt this is the best shop for glass, papers, hemp clothing or anything related. I enjoy coming to the shop when Ned and Emily are working there. They are quite knowledgable of the products and they’re very honest in their opinions of them. Ned helped me find a glass piece that I now cherish and he really broke down the pros and cons and I actually learned a lot about glass. Emily is very sweet and she is also very helpful with any questions I may have. I frequent the place often to see whats new so I tend to stick around and chat a lot. I conclude saying this, if you are into this culture then there is no other place you should go other then the Hempest. Trust me! Keep up the good work guys!

The clothes here are a little pricy if you get them at the regular price(i.e. not on sale). However, I got a very nicely made lined hoodie for only $ 29 at the end of January. That was an awesome deal, considering the fact that a regularly priced beanie was $ 28. One more buck and you can keep your head and your torso warm! Hemp is just a great material that’s strong and quite comfortable when mixed with cotton. So, if you’re poor but still want some good hemp clothing, wait for their sales and swoop!

Cool little store near Harvard’s historic campus. Prices were decent. They have nice blurbs about the history of hemp and hemp products throughout the store. I have no desire to buy hemp clothes or products. I passed through because I was looking at another store in the area. Its clean, its organized and accesible.

… Decent place. I’m pretty sure the clerk was a little too stoned to know what was going on, but was friendly and attentive. Kids coming in for their Zig-Zags was a bit annoying, but like I said, the attendant made sure we had what we needed. Decent selection of «natural» clothing and some sharp threads.

A bit pricey, but if you’re in there and spend some time with the sales staff, they will treat you right. If you go in there and act like a total tard, well then you’re a fucking tard and what do you expect.

When I first saw this store, I thought, «Is this just one of those smoke shops like Wonderland(Philly) or Annapurna(Berkeley)?» However, I walked into The Hempest and discovered that this shop was not just for potheads. Yes, they had bongs, but they also had hemp clothing and other non-smokeable products. I’d totally give it another chance.

Well it is 4⁄20 so might as well. Come on in for a variety of products to support your habit and maybe some hemp clothing as well. The prices are a bit steep but this is Harvard and what in the Garage isn’t? What’s really cool is the variety. It’s great to see such a selection in one location. Oh and on 4⁄20 they offer a discount. Do it up.

Came up here last weekend after being majorly turned off from Sugar Daddy’s by their high prices. I was not disappointed, I found several good bowls on sale and after hearing me say that another one was a little high, the guy working there took $ 10 off of it instantly. Great job guys. You don’t usually see hemp clothing along with equipment so that’s cool too. Will definitely be coming back again

Oh the Hempest. I love you. I really do. I love your location right next to my tattoo shop and upstairs from a Ben and Jerrys. Right off Harvard Square T stop and cheap parking when I drive. I love your skirts and your comfy soft tank tops. The only reason you lose a star is because your prices are a bit steep for my wallet. Its a tank top. 40 bucks? Yea I pay it because I want to support Hemp products and the hemp industry as a whole but wowzah. Some of this stuff is cray cray. I love handmade things so the skirts are more than worth it and anyone who knows anything about hemp knows about its quality and lasting power. I still have hemp pants from college that are hanging in there. Good stuff.
