Mixed shawarma plate about $ 10. Well worth every cent. A lot of food for me. The falafel roll up was really really good too. Best falafel I’ve ever had.

The falafel wrap is delicious — the best wrap I’ve had in a long time! Looking forward to visiting again to try other items offered! I would definitely recommend!

Definitely will return! Loved the chicken Shawerma. The sauce combo was perfect. Spinach pie not the best, a bit salty for my taste, but not bad. The place is small, but it’s cute.

Are falafels the loneliest food? You would think not, given that the majority of its letters are in pairs, leaving by sheer coincidence, S. and E. At the time of this review, E. and I have only known each other for three weeks, so I don’t(mustn’t) put too much importance to it. But in fact, it was E. who had induced my falafel craving. She had suggested a vegan bowl recipe whose edibility hinged upon the tahini sauce. In a perhaps too transparent attempt to engender conversation, I took on the recipe and in the process became the proud owner of a tub of tahini from Whole Foods. Everyday, I see the tub as I open the refrigerator and it reminds me of falafels. The falafel craving overcame me as I was walking to a sadcore concert at the Sinclair – which by the way E. had declined to come because of the season premier of some trendy show. Though the other options tempted me, I stayed true to my word and ordered a falafel wrap, only to realize after the fact that I did not meet the minimum $ 10 credit card charge. However, the employee ok’ed me after I added an Aranciata(Alas! E. is also a fan of Vampire Weekend.) from the fridge. When asked here or to go, I answered ‘here’ driven by my guilt; I wanted to give them the appearance of appreciation. But when I walked to the downstairs portion to grab a table, I saw no one there. After taking one lonesome bite, I quickly snuck out and ate the rest of the sandwich waiting outside the concert venue.

I’m here pretty frequently, and usually get the same thing. Have even recommended this place to people for mass catering. It was to my utmost disdain that when I went to purchase some cashew fingers the other day, the guy behind the counter LIEDTOME about prices. Specifically, I know that their cashew fingers come in PAIRS so I asked for 4 of them. The dude charged me $ 6.25. That’s absurd. I didn’t realize this until after I had left the store. This is completely unacceptable. Unless they’ve changed their policy to one single finger for 1.75, which I stand corrected. But then 1.75 for one is basically thievery too.

This place is amazing. Really delicious falafel wraps and falafel plates. Everyone was so friendly and gracious. I will absolutely be coming back here again and again!

My kid stole my food moments after i sat down. He had been faithfully peeling back foil and devouring his own(i walked back and bought another so i didn’t have to share)… I’m typing my review, he’s almost DONE eating. This kid would skip meals more than he would eat, if allowed. That’s a GLOWING review. Personally, ive had falafel all over the country… this was the best.

Ok. I always order two falafel wraps. One for me and one for my partner. We have very different tastes. So I always have a decent sized list of add-ons and subtractions for each one. The person taking my order NEVER writes it down. Which would be fine except they then mess up both wraps. Only once have they both been right. This is why I have not been back in a while. If you can’t get my order right, why come back? Food is mediocre.

As as part of an annual conference for the Harvard College in Asia Program, we catered from Falafel Corner for over 150 participants from 9 different countries. Each and every individual at the conference absolutely loved the food. Having catered from most of the restaurants in Harvard Square over the course of the conference, most of the participants remarked on the uniqueness of the flavors provided by Falafel Corner in relation to other restaurants in the square, especially the Grape Leaves and Lamb Shawarma. If you are passing through Harvard Square anytime(they are also open really late!) you should definitely stop by and try their food. In addition to wonderful food, the staff and owner are very friendly and thoughtful. Tarek, the owner, was very open to explaining the various food options and what would be best to serve to large groups. All in all, Falafel corner is a restaurant you should consider stopping by for authentic middle eastern cuisine provided by a staff that is friendly and open to explaining the different kinds of food available.

My first time eating here, even though I’ve walked by countless times. I ordered take out: a chicken shawarma roll-up because I’ve never had a chicken one anywhere before today. It was OK. Mild flavor, not much in the way of spices; warm but not by much. The pita had a nice texture and was relatively moist(better than some other places I’ve eaten at). Lettuce, tomatoes, etc. were fresh. As noted by others, this place is small, on a split level: order upstairs & you can eat downstairs. Service was fast and simple. No extra chit-chat from the staff. I do plan on returning, hoping to try a few other items. Till then…

Falafel corner was extremely underwhelming. Ordered the veggie combo and was very disappointed on the flavors. The falafel was the best part of the dish but that wasn’t saying much. Now I know why they are open until 3am because I would only come back if I was in a pinch for a bite after the bars in the area.

Ordered pick up from app — super combo plate. Everything was ready on time and the food was excellent! Nice variety, great flavor. I’d go there again

The five stars are for customer service. I’ve never eaten here before today. I just ordered from them for the first time through MixMenu. Falafel’s fax machine wasn’t working and they reached out to all their service deliverers/order takers(GrubHub, Foodler, MixMenu…) to inform them of the issue. MixMenu was clearly not available(probably due to the Holiday). My order went through as normal and I patiently waited for an hour(normal wait time through MixMenu). I called the restaurant after waiting an extra 15 minutes to find out when they would arrive and they politely asked when did I order and through which site. As soon as I mentioned the site, they immediately apologized for the inconvenience and explained that they have been trying to reach MixMenu. I reordered right through Falafel over the phone. They were such nice guys. Willing to offer whatever was going to keep me happy. Now I’m going to relax and taste my Mixed Shawarma Plate. Yes, I left a voicemail and emailed MixMenu to make sure I get my credit. Thank you Falafel Corner, so far you get an A for your customer service!

So I’m sure this place is amazing when you’re smashed but coming here completely sober is a disappointment. The kofta kebab I wanted was going to take 15 min so I decided on the lamb shawarma wrap. The pita was cold and hard and there was barely any filling. Nothing interestingly pickled in the wraps like at Shawarma Place and the lamb was tough too. My friend had the falafel salad and he seemed to like it and he raved about this place but now I don’t trust his taste at all. Good hot sauce tho! Wouldn’t be back unless drunk.

One word-EW! Cold dry shawarmas with zero flavour. Expected a lot more reading the reviews, horribly disappointed.

Wish I had read the reviews first and not after. Just a whim while walking around Harvard Square on a nice summer night. How bad could it be? It was probably the worst falafel wrap I have ever had.(It was mushy, crumbled and tasteless) Guess they just don’t care, and hope to capture unsuspecting tourists, students from Iowa and idiots like me.

I thought we ordered from here before and the food was fantastic but I think I’m wrong. First, we placed our order through Foodler. We ordered a lamb and chicken plate. They called to tell me they ran out of Lamb. I said it was okay to substitute chicken but made sure to ask if I would be refunded the $ 2.00 price difference. They said yes. I WASNOT. Second, the tabouli was not fresh. It was clearly 1 – 2 days old. The tomatoes were soggy and sour tasting. There was a clear difference between the tomatoes in the tabouli and the fresh tomatos in the tomato and cucumber salad. I called and they claimed it was all made that day. Not true and I offered that they could come pick it up to look at it themselves. Third, the onions in the chicken plate were burnt. Some of the chicken was charred but all of it was extremely dry. Fourth, the falafel was dry and extremely dense. When I called for a refund on the Tabouli. I was willing to deal with the chicken and the falafel. I was told that drivers were from Foodler so I would have to go through Foodler for a refund and they would confirm it. When I asked Foodler they responded with the following: «At , we take care to confirm your order immediately after you place it online. If the restaurant confirms all of the delivery details with us, then we send you the confirmation email. Unfortunately, the rest of the process(delivery service, quality of food, etc.) is out of our hands. Regardless, I apologize.» Now that I have confirmed with Foodler that that it’s the restaurant’s responsibility, I will follow up with them. I thought everyone should be aware of their unethical behavior.

Not bad… but not good, either. Don’t come here in the winter time because it’s SOOOOCOLD inside. Even worse, seating is downstairs so it’s seriously painfully freezing. No heating. Otherwise, food was okay… service wasn’t spectacular, either. I probably wouldn’t come back.

3.5÷5 This small place is located really close(if not) in Harvard Sq. The service here is mediocre and the food you get here is decent given the price. You get what you pay for. I had the Kafta Kabob plate which was pretty good and came with a yogurt and tahiti sauce which was actually spicy! The beef was marinated pretty well with spices and the portion of rice and salad was decent. The baklava here is very pricey though as you can get x10 of that size for $ 1 at Mass chicken and it tastes pretty identical. All in all, this is a nice place to go to for quick fairly priced food! Cheers.

There is nothing about this place that makes me want to come back. I stopped in one day with a friend to get a quick meal. I generally love falafel wraps. The wrap I received was lackluster and the falafel was very dry. Service was unfriendly and almost sort of rude. I’ve had far better falafel in Central Square. There’s also no restroom! And no promise of a restroom in a sister restaurant. The eating space downstairs was messy and dirty(although that’s to be expected in a shack like this so I wouldn’t dock them too much for that). I didn’t give this place one star because I didn’t try the fries or any of the other options which other reviewers rave about. If someone dragged me here I would give it a shot, but otherwise will not come back on my own. There are way too many other great spots in Harvard Square to come back to this place.
