I would give this place 0 if I could. We walked in and put our name down for a table that we were told would be ready soon, so we went to the bar for a drink. We were greeted nicely by a man behind the bar that gave us menus but never came back to get our order. We even resorted to the«Oy bartender» move and nothing. We then soon realized our table we were told that would be ours was sat with new people, so we asked the hostess what was going on, to which she explained she forgot about us. She redeemed herself by seating us as soon as she could(still no love from the bartender, no drinks). We finally sat down and waited ages for a waiter but no one came over so we flagged the poor hostess to come over to where she took our drink order. We ended up ordering from 4 different people at the point. When our food finally arrived it was pretty obvious that the broccoli was frozen and clearly dumped in hot water because the middle was still frozen. All in all, this was a terrible experience and horrible food. The fact that nothing was comp’d after receiving such shitty service was the cherry on top.

As an appetizer, I ordered the deviled eggs. They were incredibly salty; I didn’t have high expectations for the next dish. However, my tomato mozzarella salad with chicken was fabulous. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned — the best I think I’ve ever had.

My calzone that I ordered was cold in the middle. It was very loud and the service was slow. I would not recommend this place. Update: I later got food poisoning from my food and my friend who ordered a pizza also got sick too.

Great music, knowledgeable staff who are able to make recommendations for the eclectic variety of beers on draft, bottles/cans. This was my first visit at Cinderella’s and I’ll be coming back. I was with my brother and we split the polenta fries from the snack menu. They were filling, three came with the order. Taste like fried corn meal with cheese similar to fried mozzarella yet different consistency. The polenta fries came with tomato sauce and I’d say required just a bit more!!! Great place overall.

i had high expectations for this place and was kinda let down. went in last night after work and the place was empty, the bartender didnt even say hi but rather threw the menus down and walked away, he then didnt come check on us for a good 15 minutes and when we did order our beers he stood their and just looked at us for minute or two then he poured the beers, very awkward and uncomfortable, when we orders he took the order and didnt say or interact at all he was super distant rude and not a good bartender at all personality wise, the food came out and it was ok, honestly it wasnt very good the meatballs were dry flavorless the one saving grace was the sauce that was fairly decent. when we asked for a box the bartender looked at us as if we were being an inconvenience and didnt say a word, grabbed a box and tossed it on bar… needless to say i will give it another try maybe it was a bad night but the service was awful and food subpar

How can pizza be so bad. Ordered 4 pizzas and wings. All of the food was disgusting. Wings were burned. Pizza was rubbery. They make Domino’s seem good… which is not saying much. Horrible horrible food!

Love, Love, LOVE this place. It is a nice local joint. Anthony the owner is out there taking orders, busing tables, showing off dishes. Kyle, the bartender, is awesome and Eli, not sure why he kind of runs everywhere but he is just terrific! With Anthony, you can change the menu — don’t like the pizza choices, doctor it a little. They are happy to do it. The fire cracker shrimp was awesome and the Caesar Salad was HUGE. What is truly awesome is that they do not overcharge for wine! A decent bottle of Savignon Blanc was only $ 28 and that is only double to price(most mark it up 3 — 4 times that). I can’t wait to come back to Boston so I can return!

Cinderellas is amazing! Got the caipirinha’s, candied bacon, calamari, and pork ribs. Everything was unbelievable. Highly recommend anyone going, great atmosphere and service too.

Appreciate what they’re trying to do with the renovation, the new bar, etc. and if they stepped up thier game a little, they might actually find a niche. That being said, this is a sorry ass chicken parm. C’mon guys, a little effort goes a long way.

These guys do a phenomenal job. The place is just what Central Square needed– not a super-expensive five star restaurant or a dive — it’s a comfortable, friendly, relaxed bar and restaurant with solid food, great beer, and even better service. We come here every time we want to feel at home and share a laugh with the owners and staff. The view is also great– whether on a warm day with the windows up or on a snowy night. Shouldn’t be missed in central square.

It had been a while since I last ordered from here mainly because of an increase in their menu prices so when I ordered from them today, I had hoped the increase in pricing might have led to a slight increase in quality. Unfortunately, this somehow became the least of my problems. Now it took two hours for me to get my pizza. As it turns out, it had taken the driver one hour to drop the pizza at my dorm BUT, he never bothered to call that my pizza was dropped off at the front desk. It was his responsibility and part of his job to make sure he called, not the security guard working at the front desk. Of course, the pizza was cold having been sitting there for an hour by the time a friend had told me that a pizza was dropped off an hour ago. I promptly called up Cinderella’s, talked to the manager, and was rather astonished on how terrible the customer service was. Besides not doing immediately refusing a request for a refund, the manager had the audacity to suggest that the next time I ordered from Cinderella’s that I leave a note saying that the driver call me when the pizza arrives. In essence, the manager said for me to reminder them to do their jobs. As for the food itself, having been sitting out for an hour, it is not an understatement to say that the grease-soaked cardboard the pizza had been sitting on would have tasted any less. The only thing that had any taste to it was the garlic bread, but only because the only way for that much raw garlic to lose its taste is to leave it out long enough for mold and/or botulism to start forming. Never order from Cinderella’s if you can help it. You can feed two people from some other place for the amount I paid for myself. Even if you are truly starving and in need of food, there is a higher probability of finding more decent food in their dumpsters than a single order.

I didn’t realize this restaurant was so new in this location. No wonder I’ve never heard about it until recently! My friend told me about an amazing night she had, and so we made plans to chill here on a Sunday night after all our exams — great decision. The drink choices are great, and they even carried my favorite Coffee House Porter. The cocktails my friends were drinking also tasted great, and the food also looked scrumptious. But most of all, the staff was so friendly and accommodating, and so so fun! It’s nice to find a place where I know customers will always feel welcome, and I am excited to go back on another Sunday for Sweatpants Sunday! I will put up a more detailed review after I try their food, but my experience here last weekend was splendid.

Remodeling the place means nothing if you still can’t make a pasta sauce that’s not watery. We had both the Pasta Primavera and the Broccoli chicken Alfredo and both had not only pastas that left much to be desired, but also runny watery pasta sauces. The prices have stayed the same, the plates have gotten smaller, and the food still leaves a lot to be desired. Because the food is still bad, it doesn’t matter how they make the place look. To anyone amazed by the new layout, don’t be fooled, the place is fugazi, or fake Italian as the old folks would say.

I love this place! I get take-out here at least once(but usually twice) a week and it’s great. The calzones/pizza/buffalo wings are phenomenal. Although I loved the old Cinderella’s, the new owners have done a fantastic job with the remodel and have definitely added some personality to the Cambridge community. Every time I stop in there to pick up my pizza/calzone I can see that the bartender and manager are heavily interacting with the patrons and guests in their establishment. It’s clear they’re doing an excellent job creating a fun atmosphere and bringing together the community. Honestly, if I didn’t find my apartment so danm comfortable, I’d probably hang out in there instead of always ordering take-out. Maybe throwing in one or two really comfortable couches wouldn’t be a bad idea. Anyways, this place is great, keep killing it and it’ll be filled with regulars in no time.

I avoid Cinderella’s. It’s not a bad place, and especially now that they remodeled, their employees are friendly and the restaurant is conveniently located. But every time I have eaten food here, it has been subpar and just generally not very good. It’s greasy drunk food for MIT college kids. I have had their pizzas and sandwiches, each time hoping it’ll be good, and each time, realizing it was a big let down.

I so wish I could give a better rating to a place that has served late night prowlers through thick and thin, but recent experiences force me to deliver a more sober assessment. Cinderella’s has entered its Jekyll and Hyde phase, where it’s trying to be both a grown-up bistro and an Italian takeout joint. Sadly, it’s not pulling off either guise successfully. The drink list is ambitious, but not inspired; the comfort food is hit or miss. On this last point, while Cinderella’s continues to pull off some of its old standard calzone and sandwich fare with aplomb, the more up-market dishes can be truly inedible. As a person who often looks– without luck– for late-night options in Boston, I root for any place that serves past 10:00PM, but what’s the point of leaving the«open» sign on if the chef has gone to sleep?

CANNOTSAYENOUGHGOODTHINGS! First off the bartenders are a riot! My boyfriend and I actually followed the bartender(Dave) that left Mccabes to open Cinderellas and he still is the best bartender we ever had. Now knowing Raf and Kyle, he is in some really good company. The drinks were delicious and potent! I like to have my drinks strong but still tasty and they full on delivered. Then the food ended up being just as good, had a bacon, potato pizza and that was also delicious. Just the Vibe, atmosphere, general aura is inclusive fun! No one is left out and seriously GO check this place out!

I’ve only been here for drinks, but the ones I had were delicious! You gotta try the cantaloupe martini– it is different than anything I’ve had before! The staff were super friendly and engaging– introducing themselves the second we sat down. They also let us help pick out the bars playlist which was a lot of fun! I’ll definitely be back– I want to try eating here.

I feel so fortunate to have stumbled on this lovely restaurant/bar! I am new to the area and a single woman — a fatal combo when walking into most Cambridge/Boston restaurants. :/But all at Cinderella’s — especially bartender Rafael — were very kind. It has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with the polished touches of a serious restaurant. And the food was outstanding(I recommend the mussels and polenta fries)! I will definitely return and frequent this great spot while I call University Park/Central Square my temporary«home»!

This was the first place I got take-out from when I moved to Cambridge in July 2013. I found the food to be decent, especially the pasta as well as the marinara sauce, although slightly overpriced it was the closest tasting sauce to the one I make at home. Not too long after that, something changed, new chef or new owners. The sauce changed and so did many other things, for the worse. The food was mediocre and flavorless. Now with the recent remodel I had hoped the food would improve again, especially with all the talk about a new chef. Unfortunately this has not been the case. The pasta has not improved, and I recently ordered fish and chips which turned out to be prison style frozen fish bits. Utterly disgusting and a huge disappointment as they are so convenient. I’ll order from Skampa from now on.

Garlic bread had raw garlic, almost inedible. Pizza was terrible… Soggy. Had to eat with a spoon… Lots of under cooked toppings. Expensive. $ 28 for one pizza and garlic bread. Try bertuccis or even primo down the road. Even domino’s is better

I’ve gotten food there twice, both times for take-out. I was told the pizza wasn’t good so the first time we got pasta dishes. One tasted rancid and we threw it out(something with eggplant). The other was a chicken dish and the chicken was dry. A few years later I was coming home late from work and really wanted pizza. How bad can pizza be? Bad. I ordered a small cheese pizza to minimize the ways it could go wrong. I was so hungry I had a slice in the car on the way home. When I got home(driving, 3 blocks from Cinderella), the cheese had turned to rubber. I love cheese. I love all kinds of cheese, served in every way. How could they ruin cheese. Please, save your money. This place is a heartbreak.

Manager Kyle Fletcher is 2nd to NONE. Kyle is clearly Top GM in the business and his support from Dave is just a bonus. Kyle runs a tight ship and you can tell from how clean the location is. Dave and bartender Raf are extremely personable, friendly, professional, and are just down right good at what they do. I highly recommend this location if you truly wish to have a great experience.

I remembered Cinderella’s for their awesome take out years ago, stumbled upon them today to find out they have completely renovated the place into a rustic/industrial and inviting restaurant. I met the two gm’s Kyle and Dave who were super nice and approachable. They have a mean beer list and a house made limoncello on tap, which was amazing. Excellent design, service, food and staff. I will definitely be returning soon! Thank you for an awesome lunch!
