Over a week overdue, facing an induction, and frustrated, my midwife found Li Pai’s contact info for me and I paid her a visit for some labor-​inducing acupuncture. She took one look at me and knew exactly what my problem was– swelling in my hands and feet were preventing him from moving down into position, and she knew without my even saying anything that my psoas muscle was really tight. I spent an hour getting treated by her and it was very relaxing (and reasonably priced — $ 75). She predicted I would go into labor that evening and recommended I take a few long walks that day. Lo and behold my water broke at 7:30 pm that night! I really think her services helped. I would definitely recommend her to other pregnant women. I only wish I had seen her earlier!
