My daughter who just had knee surgery ordered food to be delivered on February 10th. The order was paid for online, well she never got her food !!! because the driver who she called back after missing his call and(she apologized to him for that) told her well your not getting your food and told her to F– off that he was on his way back to Everette, from my understanding café Kiraz is in Cambridge which means he took her food home … We have ordered food here plenty of times but I will tell you after this experience the driver reflects the business and we will never order from here ever again!!! You had our address you should have come to the door. So very unprofessional, I’m extremely angered by how your driver spoke to my daughter

Delivery is quick and efficient. The Mac n cheese is kind of boring, the calzone however more than makes up for it! Delicious vanilla/Oreo milkshake! Be warned though the small calzone is pretty huge! Delicious but huge!

The sandwiches here are always excellent. Not to mention the owner is always there working 14+ hour days and is still friendly as can be. I love the Boston College(chicken salad and bacon) and I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a high quality sandwich and wants to support a hard working small business owner.

The food is usually good, but they’re definitely passive aggressive, the delivery guys especially. They now have a $ 2.50 delivery charge so I don’t tip as well as l used to. Still ends up being a lot, but now they deliver food late, everything’s cold, and it feels like it’s on purpose. The drivers seem disgruntled about it too. All friendliness is gone. I guess they want me to tip them the same as I would places that offer free delivery… that’s not gonna happen.

I ordered here last night and it was just awful. I ordered the chicken breast, avocado, bacon with ranch sandwich. First off, how can you possibly serve someone avocado that is so old it has completely lost it’s green tint and is more like brown/grey. Gross. I also ordered the Korean BBQ«artisan pizza». A small, not good pizza with regular boring BBQ sauce would have been a better description. I just don’t understand how you can run a pizza place and not have good products. Do you not eat your own food? I think I will order other places.

Fantastic garden vegetable soup. I can tell its homemade with fresh ingredients — It is peak corn season right now and I could taste the superior corn in every spoonful. The sandwich I had was satisfying and well-crafted, but not as noteworthy as the soup. Delivery via GrubHub was super fast.

Extremely good, handmade frozen yogurt. Easy to order salads, pizza, etc. online with foodler.

We ordered 20 + sandwiches 2 days in a row for a group meeting at MIT. Not only was the order process easy, it was flawless. The food was delivered on time, and everything was delicious. The first day I called only an hour before we needed delivery, the person who took my order was really nice about it. They marked each person’s order by name, which made it so much easier on our end. I had the curry chicken sandwich… it was delicious, and it was«on the house» as I was the person ordering… nice touch.

They have really good stuff. I had a veggie pizza yesterday and I was impressed!

Just ordered a soup and salad from here for delivery last night, and was really impressed. Maybe I just have been unlucky with GrubHub, but I feel like usually I’m waiting 1.5+ hours to get my food… not with Café Kiraz! From ordering until it got to my door was max 30 mins. The minestrone soup was homemade and really delicious. The hearts of palm salad was also pretty good with nice lettuce and a great dressing. Only complaint was that they were kind of skimpy on the hearts of palm. I will definitely be ordering again to try their other stuff!

As far as the food goes i’ve had a good experience. Good calzones and sandwiches — nothing out of this world. I used to go here a lot for froyo — but had an awful experience with the owner/manager. The«froyo» is a big block of ice cream that they put in a machine and grind with toppings to make a «flavor.» So if you wanted oreos on the top of your chocolate ice cream, they would GRIND them into it so it was like sand texture. I thought this was a little weird so the next few times I went, I asked if they could just cruch my oreos on top after. The usual guy said no problem. The next time I went in and asked for what I had been getting with the oreos on top the owner/manager working freaked out. He was extremely rude and unprofessional to my friend and I and made us feel so stupid instead of politely explaining that it wouldn’t be possible. He said if the heath officials found out the entire establishment could be «shut down.» He also told me that the usual guy that was putting my oreos on the top of my ice cream was«definitely going to get reprimaded tomorrow» at work because of that. I’ve worked in the food industry for 8 years and would never treat a customer that way. I can honestly say I looked around for the hidden camera’s and Ashton Kutcher to pop out to tell me I was getting punk’d. Definitely won’t be back which is a shame because it’s so close to my apartment. Also — while I’m at it — if I walk by early in the morning the wraps/sub rolls are delivered and thrown on the dirty ground for someone to pick up when they arrive at work. NOTHANKS!

I love Café Kiraz! I have yet to try anything but my «usual» but it is spot on and delicious every-time. I always go for the Smoked Turkey on Rye bread, with fresh mozzarella, cheddar cheese, extra avocados and extra extra mayonnaise. Kettle cooked chips and sometimes a slice of chocolate cake. YUM! =) Never disappointed, keep up the good work!

These people don’t know how to cook. I stuck my finger in the middle of the scorched black calzone and the cheese was cold. My roommate got the buffalo tenders and those were just splashed with Frank’s Red Hot. Pathetic. This place serves disgusting food and now we all feel queasy from the few bites we did have.

Disclosure: I may have messed the sandwich up with my additions as I panic when I order from a restaurant for the first time, but I feel like something about the French fries needs to be said. I was hungover and needed fries. There was no reviews of them so I decided to take a chance on these $ 4 fried potatoes. To my(delighted) surprise, they were not phallic shaped, but waffle shaped! Awesome. But they were burned! Not awesome. Although I did just fine eating around the burned parts. Can we get consensus if this is how they are served on the reg? This is important. Also got the avocado and Brie wrap. Holy hugeness. I added all kinds of things and it was pretty delish… I look forward to round two of it. Delivery dude was pretty impatient… I lied and said the doorbell is broken and to call me bc the sound of my doorbell is insanely annoying. He called, I missed it, and he proceeded to ring the doorbell a million times in a row. But he was cute and gave me a nice smile so I forgive.

Best Calzone I have had in years. While their delivery window was spot on it was slower than other locations. However it was very worth the wait as both the Calzone and buffalo tenders were delicious. Wings aficionados should look elsewhere but if you are looking for a standard wing with great pizza and calzone choices this is the place to go.

grilled peach and plum salad? hearts of palm salad? coffee oreo froyo, dqblizzard style? their low-maintenance over-the-counter style doesn’t exactly scream high-quality eats, but i was impressed by the food i had. normally i don’t have high hopes for actual grilled peaches/plums when advertised as such at a cheap-o spot, but the fruit was still warm from the griddle and a perfect light summer dinner. well, light until i followed it up with the froyo, anyhow. next time you find me in inman, it’s not a bad bet you’ll find me here picking up some to-go yummies.

If we were talking about food and food alone, this place would be a 5-star slam dunk. But then there’s that employee interaction. I ordered online, and when I realized I hadn’t selected a salad dressing, I called to change it. The girl who answered reacted to my request like I had interrupted an important nail-painting session. In the end, she got me the right dressing(points for that), but she definitely wasn’t enthusiastic about it. I ordered the beet salad, which was totally awesome and served in a generous portion. I added smoked salmon, and was not disappointed — they give you enough to make it worth the extra two bucks — but the description on the menu said«Both red and yellow beets» and there wasn’t so much as a cube of yellow beet in there. Bottom line: I’ll be ordering from them again because the food was cheap and delish, but I won’t expect customer service.

Cheap, cozy, tasty. The guy who took our order at the counter utterly lacked enthusiasm and social skills, but it was a little charming, somehow. The seating is hilarious. There’s one unappealing table in the back corner that you wouldn’t guess existed unless you went looking for it. I’m guessing drug deals go down there.

Toasted sandwiches and calzones are delicious; shakes are ok. I finally was coaxed into going back, since it’s right around the corner from me. We got toasted vegetable sandwiches, which were delicious and cheesey. Then a few days later I got a calzone(the small was enormous, and delicious); the other person got a sandwich(again good); and we both got shakes(kinda watery — would not bother ordering those again with Christina’s and Tosci’s so nearby).

I order lunch/dinner from this place at least once a week. At this point I’ve tried most of the menu, and it is 90% excellent, especially in comparison with other delivery options in Cambridge. I’ve had possibly every sandwich they offer. The meatball sub is «sub“par(ohohoho) but most everything else has been super. My favorite is the turkey/green apple/walnut and swiss on multi grain, or seriously pretty much anything on focaccia because that bread is gooood. Boyfriend gets either a mozzerella/basil situation or this monstrosity with grilled chicken, avocado, bacon and ranch. They don’t skimp. These sandwiches are real deal. Once I ordered smoked turkey with avocado and there was like 2 inches of turkey on the damn thing and probably an entire avocado. It was intimidating, to be honest. Soups aren’t anything to rave about. Pizza is lackluster. Salads are really flipping good. I’m generally too macho to order a salad but lately I am all over the grilled asparagus salad, which also has hard-boiled eggs and shaved parmigiana cheese and cherry tomatoes maybe something else. It’s so damn good. Add chicken for $ 2. Worth it. They will slice up an entire(like, sandwich sized) chicken breast on there. The beet salad is also awesome. And they will also deliver coffee. Whatever, I love them. They are the coolest.
