I have gorged myself at countless BBQ joints in Nashville, and no matter how good and authentic BBQ places elsewhere have claimed to be, I just haven’t found anything that compared. Until I went to Bottomless Pit. This place is AMAZING. The portions are huge and every single thing we got from here was amazing… We were a party of 8 and between us we tried pretty much everything on the menu. The ribs and beef brisket are HIGHLY recommended. The prices here are also very reasonable. Anyone coming to this area MUST stop at the Bottomless Pit! You won’t regret it!

Had a terrible lunch experience here today. 8÷28÷13 I ordered the hot sausage and the wife ordered the cheese burger, both meals with fries. My sausage was a joke. It was a 3.5 inch sausage cut length ways in a bun. The sausage was petrified. Obviously left over since yesterday… I wish they had told me they were out. My wife ordered her burger medium well… It was rare and in cooked. Pink and mushy all over. She couldn’t eat it, as I write this I have stomach cramps… Pretty sad

Recommend by staff at Smuggs, I was pleased with simple menu! Tasted like someone drove a BBQ truck up from Kentucky! Would definitely recommend it to anyone passing by, fan or no fan of BBQ

Great roadside BBQ stand. Regular menu plus daily treats. I just got BBQ brisket w cooler corn. Sweet and tangy sauce. Awesome! Chef Manny says they do BBQ all summer and«smoke cheese» in the winter… but I thought they smoke cheese all year long if you get what I mean. Hippie BBQ. Good stuff. But be prepared to wait while its prepared.

After a brief swimming in the icy water of a favorite swimming hole in the area, we decided to look around the area for some good food. We sure did find it! Friendly service, it was almost like I was a regular already! The prices are good too, 25 bucks for a ½ rack of ribs, very juicy and perfectly sweet corn on the cob and cole slaw. My SO got burger and fries. We shared some mozz sticks and two cans of soda. The mozz sticks were amazing, stringy and wonderfully melted. He loved the fries. Overall, its a wonderful find and I’m very satisfied with my experience. You can’t miss it, brightly colored stand close to the road with flags on the side of the road adverting for BBQ. I’m surprised this place isn’t on Unilocal yet! Enjoy.
