We had the duo massage for our anniversary /​Valentine’s Day and it was fantastic! Jaime gave me a deep tissue massage with hot stones that I won’t soon forgot. An added bonus for the holiday weekend: a glass of champagne upon our arrival and sweet treats when we left. Can’t wait to go back!

I booked a massage here with low expectations, and was blown away by how amazing it was! This was by far the best massage I’ve had. She used the perfect amount of pressure and worked wonders on my extremely tight shoulders and upper back. I will definitely book another one on my next visit to Cambria.

I had a prenatal massage here last weekend and was blown away. I’ve had another one before, but never had a massage as relaxing as this one. The use of stones, essential oils, and warm towels, absolutely was an amazing combination. It was a great price as well. I will be back and I would recommend it!

Scheduled online, no one ever showed up. No one answered the phones. Hotel lobby didn’t mention anything about them being closed or anything. Don’t waste your time.

Happy to say that I agree with the other Unilocalers! One of the best massages I’ve had! Christie knew exactly where the knots were and worked them out. She also used hot stones which was a nice bonus, typically other places charge you extra for this service. I would definitely go back, wish I would have booked a longer session. Next time for sure. I feel so relaxed and pleased I decided to go after a nice hike at this beautiful beach area.

My wife and I enjoyed her 71^st birthday at Sojourn. We had the TRANQUALITY FOR TWO FACIAL AND ASSAGE. We have had massages around the world and this by far was the very best. We will surely come back

Oh my God! The very best massage ever! I don’t say this lightly… so perfect, perfect pressure, strokes, use of hot rocks! Highly recommended. My husband and I enjoyed the 60 minute Signature Massage. Worth every penny.

Wonderful Massage! My husband and I had a couples massage after a long drive to Cambria! What a great decision! Bree and Diane were amazing! I have had many massages over the years and this was one of my favorite massages! They used hot stones and aromatherapy warm towels! It really was a nice addition to a really great massage! I would definitely recommend getting a massage at Sojourn while visiting Cambria! We will be back for sure!

My boyfriend and I booked our side by side massages about a month in advance. There was a little trouble at first, but the ladies were more than accommodating and gave us both excellent massages. I will definitely schedule again when we go back next year

My boyfriend and I just had our first massages ever at this wonderful gem, and we are now hooked on massages! The ladies were amazing and explained everything we needed to know before we started. They were so good at finding the places on us that were tight or needed extra attention, and the hot stones that they used were amazing! Overall, this place is just fantastic and we can’t wait to return.

My husband and I just experienced the side by side massage with Christie and Jamie and it was by far the best massage I have ever had. Christie’s massage was extremely intuitive and she very clearly loves what she does. After a 60 min massage, I felt more relaxed, balanced, and pain-​free than I have in months. This was my husband’s first massage and he absolutely loved the deep tissue work Jamie did. I highly recommend massage treatments with Christie and Jamie, whether you receive massages regularly or not.

My «partner in crime» and I got the couples treatment recently and really enjoyed the service. We both slept so well that night. I enjoyed the heated stones and aromatherapy specifically as I’d never experienced that before. The ladies tending to each of us were very professional. A very enjoyable massage for us both.

I had a deep-​tissue, hot stone massage with Jamie recently and wow! One of the best massages I’ve ever had. She used just the right amount of pressure to work out the knots and kinks, and the oils and moisturizing sprays she used were heaven. I can’t wait to go back!

I was here a few years ago and remembered it was a great massage, so I called when I was in town this time. My call was returned promptly and so friendly.
I enjoy where they are located up on the hill. Not a lot of car or foot traffic, so it is quiet and relaxing.

The room was clean and very comfortable. Just the right temp. I do have to say the mud was sinfully good.

My husband and I decided to try the couple’s massage. We both don’t get massages like ever, so since we couldn’t get any rest in the hotel this spa is a part of (see my other review) we decided to try some R&R at the spa. It was really quite a nice surprise. The masseuse I had was named Polly. She was very sweet and did her best to make me feel comfortable. The setting for it, although small, was very relaxing. The next day I was a bit sore from the massage (guess I had way more knots than I knew!) but by the second day I felt like a new woman! Thank you Sojourn!

I agree with one of the earlier posts, my massage here with Christie was unquestionably the BEST massage I’ve ever had.
I get massages regularly and have been getting them for years and I have never had one where it seemed the like the therapist could literally read my mind. She keyed in on spots immediately when she ran her hand over them and knew exactly what those areas needed. I’ve never had a therapist literally catch every knot and tweaky spot on my body before. She didn’t miss a thing!
I’ve always had a lot of tightness and tension on the right side of my neck all the way down to my right shoulder. I’ve described this tightness to therapists before and even if they work on it a little bit, it always feels like they missed something in that area. Christie was the first therapist who immediately recognized the tension and 1.) said something to me about it and 2.) worked on it in exactly the right way.
I can’t say enough about how great my massage was. I totally agree with the other post which talked about how attuned she was to what my body needed. Sure, the spa is in a small space but I think it fits with the Cambria Pines Lodge feel which is sorta rustic and woodsy. I found it charming and cozy. Honestly though, I would be willing to get a massage ANYWHERE if it was with Christie.

This place was located on the Cambria Lodge compounds. The place is a no frills, converted hotel room place with two rooms. My friend and I went for their 80 minute body polish/​full body massage. They put us in the «couples» room in the back but had drawn the curtains for more privacy.
Pros: i loved the body treatment i received. They started with a upperbody massage and used hot stones. She spent a lot of time working on my shoulders which was where i was the most tense. Then they scrubbed my back with the salt and it felt so good! I probably wouldn’t recommend the salt scrub if you have sensitive skin, but my skin loved it. Then she finished it off with lower body massage and scrub and massaged my foot. I am 4 months pregnant and she accomodated my needs. My friend walked in with a headache and she said it was gone by the time we left.
Cons: I didn’t really know what to expect when I came here. I was hoping the place itself would’ve been nicer. I like very dark massage room. This place was basically a hotel room, they had covered the windows, but it was still pretty light and you can see everything. Also the bathroom was really small and not too tidy. They don’t have the amenities a day spa would.

I was dying for a massage and this was one of the couple spa places that was in our room binder directory of the area. It caught my eye because they had a 30 minute massage and sadly, this little lady doesn’t have a whole lot to spend this time around. I figured 30 minute would be better than nothing even though a 90 minute massage would be ideal.
Anywho, I rang them up and left a message as it said that they were probably in a session and would return your call as soon as possible. They rang me about 10 minutes later. I had a pretty open schedule so I set an appointment for 4pm at their studio at Cambria Pines Lodge. They do out calls if you’re staying in a hotel or I’m guessing living in the area and that will run you an additional $ 20.
I popped on over and Rita who was my masseuse greeted me outside their building. She said I could get undressed and get under the covers. She came in when I was ready and asked if I had any specific areas I wanted her to focus. I let her know my lower back has been sore lately and I’d been feeling a bit off as I’ve been to a chiropractor lately.
I swear it was the longest, most amazing 30 minute massage I’ve ever had, especially for the price ($ 55). It was mainly a back/​shoulder/​neck/​arms massage, but it included hot stones (o-​m-​g) and relaxing oils.
She was totally professional and checked in with me to make sure the pressure was good. I loved it. She also didn’t really chat with me which was a perfect way to full take in and appreciate getting a massage.
I quite liked the ambiance of the room. There was an additional table which I’m assuming is for couples massages if your SO or friend wants to have a massage at the same time as you. The room was dimly lit with 2 chairs to put your items on, a water fountain and a bathroom in case you need it.
I loved this place and I felt so relaxed after. I’ll be back next year when I come back again for my R&R vacation. Thanks Rita!!!
