Hands down the best Texas BBQ place! We are lucky to live so close — the beef brisket is delicious and Steak nights are are wonderful treat. Plus you can’t beat the friendly staff at Lou’s including Lou. My husbands favorite dinner is beef brisket, coleslaw and baked sweet potato with sweet butter. An amazing place that needs to be on your restaurant list — don’t forget that they also do catering.

I have been looking for a good bbq place up here in the Northwest and I finally found it! My husband and I saw big lou’s on our GPS since it has a bunch of different restaurants. We looked online at reviews and finally decided to head across town(and then some) to find out what this place was all about. It’s definitely a place that would fit right in down south. The people that work there are friendly. They struck up conversations with us which can be abnormal in these parts. We decided that we would definitely be back. I’m not sure about these lines that were spoken of in another review, it was pretty dead when we went. I guess Saturday nights when it’s 100+ outside makes people not want bbq. But sitting in the outdoor dining area sweating my dinner off I truly felt like I was in Texas. It was great.

Big Lou rocks! Awesome BBQ as God intended it! Great menu, reasonable prices, and friendly folks… It doesn’t get much better than that.

Wow!!! Talk about some serious BBQ. My parents have lived in Texas for the past 10 years, so from my BBQ experience I can tell you that this place is spot on. I can see how Big Lou became BIG. I got the beef brisket with a side of beans and macaroni. My fiancée had the beef ribs with the same sides. Both were amazing!!! This place is the real deal. If you like Texas BBQ then enjoy!

This place is excellent! I like the«Big Lou» with brisket which is a football sized baked potato covered in baked potato fixins and a healthy order of sliced brisket on top. I usually add an order of sweet potato fries and some fried okra to go with it. Peach cobbler to go please… Everything Lou serves REALLY good, especially the brisket and pulled pork. Add some of their sauce and a few sides and you cruising for a nice nap/food coma. I happen to like the plastic enclosed dining area. The place is always clean. The staff and Big Lou are really nice«That’s my nephew with Big Lou and a giant sized father’s day prime rib special». I live in Northern California so I only get to eat there a few times a year when I visit my family but If you want a BBQ fix and you don’t live close? No problem Big Lou ships anywhere in the US. He has even shipped to Texas. I guess they know a good thing when they taste it.

Oh how delicious! There is a wide variety of BBQ goods like pulled pork, briscuit, ribs and so on. The sauce they use is fantastic as well. You can eat their goods plain or on sandwiches, potatoes, or sweet potatoes. Prices are pretty reasonable because of how much you get. Plus they have daily specials that include a side of coleslaw and cornbread plus a fountain soda for under $ 10. I had their HUGE baked potato with briscuit which was $ 6.99 but it was so filling that it was my lunch for 2 days in a row! Even thinking about it makes me want to have one! From what I could tell there was no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor. At least during the not so fantastic weather they cover it and give you heaters. All in all, it is worth the stop for the«Big Texas style BBQ.»
