Hands down the funnest place we have had dinner at. We didn’t have reservations and Serena found a way to fit us Into the bar area. The sushi was great and Charlie was super friendly and funny. They always made sure our drinks were full and we always had what we asked for. Definitely coming back here again.

We were recommended this place by a close friend, thought we’d give it a try.
Initial thoughts; average little spot, we showed up around 5:30p.m. on a weekday. Only a couple people in there besides us. The guys were prepping the rolls that are placed on the rotating bar so it took us a while before we were helped… about 20 minutes or so… this was getting a little annoying, but they did explain they were prepping and apologized for inconvenience.
Once prepping was done with, and our orders were out… the wait was well worth it because our rolls were amazing, We had the salmon roll, Phily roll, spicy tuna roll and superman roll, all on soy paper… delicious. it was all so fresh and flavorful, we will definitely be returning.
the place started getting busier, most of the people seemed to be regulars…
i would give a 5th star, except it would have been nice if the waitress were to have offered us a started from the back kitchen to have while we waited, it would have made the wait a lot more pleasant.

Definitely don’t let the location or customer volume fool you, this is good ass sushi. Fresh, delicious, quick. Also I have a pickled ginger addiction and I love wasabi and they have lots of it. 10⁄10 would recommend.

Great sushi experience this evening at Sushi Fresh with sushi chef Charlie! I just found my new favorite sushi place in Camarillo!!! I will be back in a few days for my birthday !

Love this place. Bomb sushi and the service is really good. That one thing that really important to me and that’s why I keep coming back.. Would recommend this place to sushi lovers. sushi chef Charlie is super cool kept us laughing every time we come.

First time trying out sushi that goes on a rotating bar and boy was I disappointed :(
I had high hopes and excitement to try an assortment of sushi and rolls moving along in front of me but there wasn’t much variety on the rotating bar and out of the ones my friend and I tasted, they were dry and stale.
My friend and I also ordered additional rolls off the menu since the ones we picked up from the rotating bar were not up to par. The fresh rolls were a notch above from the rotating rolls but did not leave a lasting impression with me.
Overall, I felt like the sushi and rolls lacked flavor. I do give them credit for having amazing customer service, playing catchy music with their respective music videos, and the lady owner even joking with us at the end of our meal. But yeah, I don’t think I’ll be returning. Sorry :(

Meh this place has really changed since I first moved here. I don’t know if the quality has changed or if I’ve just been lucky enough to discover better sushi joints around VC.
Pricey seemed like a joke, ordered take out and my bill was close to $ 30 for some simple rolls. I’m the first one to spend a lot on sushi but when the sushi is tasteless and stale I’m going to have a real problem with this.
To my next point,
The sushi was extremely disappointing! Even though it was «take out» the sushi only sat in my car for five minutes before I was home and ready to eat. Sushi tasted like gas station sushi, not what I’ve experienced from them in the past, also for the price it left a bad taste in my mouth and idk if I can see myself coming back here again.
