I don’t normally write bad reviews because employees are human and sometimes they’re just not having a good day. I have been in Camarillo my whole life and had never went into this store. My 5 yr old daughter really wanted to check it out so I finally took her. When I first walked in the employee saw me and turned his back towards me. No big deal, maybe he’s busy. I looked around the store and got closer to him… Still no hello. A girl at the register gave me a half smile. Finally I spoke to break the ice and they in returned spoke and said if you need anything let us know. Someone else walks in… Employees greets them with open arms. I was so offended. Why did I have to speak first in order to be greeted? Just a heads up… It’s important to greet EVERYBODY, not just who YOU want too. By the end, I killed the situation with kindness because I’m not going to let that make me a rude person. That was yesterday, but today it’s still on my mind so I needed to say something. Thanks for listening.

This place is super cool. A little pricey but you literally have a huge selection of rare and cool sodas so it’s worth it. The wizard guy who works there is amazing. I got some blue cream soda and Japanese candy last night and it was all great.

Went to Rocket Fizz today 5÷22÷15 to go purchase my daughters some pop rocks since they haven’t had the chance to experience them. Well we come home and I’m excited for them to try them out and guess what no pop rocks, they were all melted together! The bag says keep in a dry cool place, looks like they had them in the heat and they’re ruined :/called the store the same day seeing if they would let us exchange them out for a new bag and they straight out said NO! So because you don’t know how to store your candy and your candy is bad you won’t just let us switch them out for a New candy??? they were kinda rude about it and we WILLNOTRETURNTOTHISOVERPRICEDCANDYSTOREWITHRUDECUSTOMERSERVICE!!!

Rocket Fizz is a really fun shop to go to and browse around. The entire store is laid out with candy and soda. The selection is really great. A lot of the candy are ones from your childhood and will definitely make you feel nostalgic. I totally haven’t seen Now and Laters and Bit O Honey in forever. To complete the old school feeling they have a bunch of old tin signs decorating all the walls. There’s also a giant fridge with a crazy large selection of obscure sodas I’ve never heard or seen before. Each bottle of soda is $ 2. Don’t forget to get the stamp card. Every 8 bottles of soda you purchase gets you 1 free one.

One if the coolest stores in the world. That is if u love soda and candy! This place reminds me what being a kid was all about. Right when u walk through the door u are greeted and if u have any questions on any item or soda the staff really give u a detailed answer full of knowledge. I enjoy browsing here and seeing some oldschool candies that take me down memory lane. Good job rocket fizz. Even though u give many kids cavities u still rock in my book!

Definitely a cool place! Every single candy and soda imaginable is in here! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. We stepped inside after eating a bunch of tacos so I wasn’t especially hungry for any candy or soda quite frankly. But actually, it was a lot of fun seeing all the different selections of candy and coda, especially the bacon stuff, but I wasn’t a buyer… until… until… I asked one of the staff if they had the Japaneses Green Tea Kit-Kats. Right away he said yes and even had a Cookies n Cream imported version available too! What? Hungry? Who cares! I went with the Green Tea ones. They were almost $ 11 for the bag of 12 mini bars(I think 12) and worth every single penny. I had seen many of my friends post these on instagram and was always curious about them — they didn’t disappoint. Thanks guys!

Cute little shop at the edge of the Camarillo boutique row. Staff was SUPER friendly and exceptionally helpful while I browsed. I liked that they not only had nostalgic candy but also carried crazy rubber animal masks like the ones you see in funny pics and gifs online. Now I know where I can buy a horse, unicorn, pug or pigeon mask locally if I need one and don’t have time to wait for Amazon to ship me one. In addition to the candy and crazy sodas they also have some silly little toys(like the rubber masks) that I found cute and cool. Wallets that look like they’re made out of bacon, narwhalicorn figures, religeous action figures, big foot figures, super hero toys, etc. The store has a really attractive salt water aquarium in it too. Very beautiful addition to the store. I wish this place carried drinks by the Skeleteens, but none of the Rocket Fizz stores I’ve been to have them. Lastly, I noticed this location had a better price on commercially bagged/sealed cotton candy than the location in Thousand Oaks. It wasn’t as cheap as the dollar store, but I got it anyway because it wasn’t that much more and Rocket Fizz has a lot more unique candies that I wanted than a place like a grocery or dollar store would. I also got a really nice looking black and white swirled lolipop. Totally cool/gothic!

Fun little candy shop! This is the original Rocket Fizz Soda Pop & Candy Shop! Judge Wapner’s Nephew runs these places. The guy is a genius! You come in here and you can find all kinds of candies to chose from — new stuff, old stuff from when you were a kid, stuff imported from other countries, and candy that to some people is delicious and to other’s is pure vile, what fun it is to experience it all! My favorite part of the store is the flavored sodas. Oh man how will I ever taste them all! I love to try new flavors! I love Cream Soda and Root Beer, and their Banana flavored sodas are great too. There are some Bacon flavored sodas and some yuckie looking bug juice ones too! I don’t try those … they kinda freak me out. But it’s all in fun! Think of a candy from your childhood that you have not had in a long time… go there and get it, and if they don’t have it, they will try to get it for you! They’re awesome! Also, love the gag gifts they carry too! Fun stuff! :)

I only stopped here because I was in the area. Nostalgia soda and candy prices are high compared to the dollar tree and Bev Mo for the soda. If you don’t mind over-paying and don’t want to go elsewhere separately, go here. I found the vintage concert posters more unique and interesting. And finally, the lady who smokes like a chimney needs to either quit working here, or walk a few blocks to light up. Pew.

I love Rocket Fizz! The workers are amusing, and the candy is great! I recommend the Zotz and the pixy stixs :) The«ice cube» chocolates are pretty good, but quite sweet too! All the candy is delicious. The Ramuné soda is great :) Everyone should come to Rocket Fizz!

I’m in love with this place! Anytime my fiancé get a sweet tooth, we always come here. Even if I need to make a goodie basket or just come here for a fun trip it’s always so awesome and the staff is always so informative and nice! My favorite soda is hands down the Huckleberry by Death Valley, I always ventured around trying things like PB& J soda and stuff but since I’ve tried huckleberry I never get anything else. I did try the Elderberry(forgot the company name) and that’s my runner up :) If you’re in town, this place is a must to stop by! The music they play is awesome too!

This was the first, and still the best. Unbelievable selection of sodas and candies that I haven’t seen since I was a kid. They group candy by theme: BACON is a theme! :-) Wonderful little toys, too. Playing cards, tin signs… and it’s the go-place for Halloween. It’s my go-place for baby shower prizes(hint: «the Baby Shower» catapult). It’s a great place for unique gift baskets that everyone will love. Tip: The patio is free to reserve for birthday parties. Do I have to tell you how a kid feels about a party at a candy store? You know the adage…

LOVE this place! The location of this place just adds to how much I adore this spot! Next to the best tacos ever(establos) and in old town Cam! Such a cute quaint spot right off the 101 Rocket Fizz is like a mix between an old school and new school candy store. When you walk in, its such a nostalgic feeling! They have TONS of different candies, some from back in the day, some you’ve never even heard of and a lot from different countries. You could easily spend over an hour just browsing and thinking of which ones you should buy. My favorite thing about rocket fizz is there giant selection of salt water taffy. You get to pick a bag and stuff it with as many taffys as you can! With so many flavors to choose from, you always find something new and interesting! The staff here is always so helpful, fun and entertaining! Love love love it here, and wish I was still in cam to go back!

Rocket Fizz is an interesting business. They’re creating a franchise network of shops that sell sweets in candy, ice cream and beverage form. They seem to be recently popping up over Norcal quite a bit lately. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, they over a dizzying array of products. What’s more interesting to me is that they bottle a variety of very weird and obscure sodas. Scotty’s Butterscotch, Melba’s Fixins Cherry Pie, Martian Soda, Judge Wapner Soda… the list is fascinating and deranged. They’re not all awesome but they are fairly creative and funny. Definitely cool for kids and adults alike

This is another one of my favorite places. I’ve been to every Rocketfizz around… Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, Simi, Thousand Oaks, Agoura… but Camarillo is still my favorite! I think because it’s the original… and it’s in Old Town Camarillo… so it’s in a charming cottage like store… ahh! The first time I went into this place… I was amazed. From the vintage(reproductions, of course!) tin posters, to the whimsical toys and candy. I love that I can get salt-water taffy here… buttered popcorn. and cotton candy anyone?! But… I most usually go here to feed my soda addiction… and let me be frank, this place is filled to the brim… with every kind of soda imaginable. I’ve tried a good many of them… but my two favorites are Polar’s Vanilla Cream Soda… and Virgil’s Black Cherry Cream Soda. Both are amazing. But seriously, you could go here a bazillion times and not try all the sodas here… I did get a hilarious bottle of «Lenin-ade» and some Commi-mints…for my Russian mother… to which she thought it was hilarious… so there are some novelty type soda’s…as well. All in all, I love this place. It really feeds my inner child… and my soda addiction. :)

What a great way to blow half an hour. They have every soda you can imagine as well as candy from today and the nostalgic past. I brought my kids here and they went ape-shit with indecision on what to buy. I particularly liked the soda select, and the wall of salt-water taffee but the hard to get candy like big-hunk, aba-zabba and charleston chews, really made it fun.
