Several Factors made my experience fantastic!
Best receptionist EVER! Monica is warm, professional, down to earth, friendly and one of best parts of my visit. Great customer service! Dr. Buffo is easy going and cool. His office is very comfortable, clean, homey, touches of luxury here and there which I appreciate as a shopper. The experience is great picking out glasses. Monica is the best. I have gotten a ton of compliments on my LaFont brand glases which is a high end brand that are rare to find. They carry unique frames — upscale and average glasses for all budgets.

I came to this place because I had something in my eye and was also having trouble with my readibg. DR Buffy and his staff were so nice and fixed me up really well. A week later I went back for my new RayBan frames which are really great. Thankyou for being so nice and easy to deal with. I had out of date insurance info which they helped sort out too.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Buffo for over ten years. Dr. Buffo, Monica, and the entire staff take amazing care of us. The office is always very professional, courteous, and pleasant to work with. I have a feel challenging eyeglass prescription due to a condition, and had problems with other optometrists. With Dr. Buffo; there have never been issues, and he takes great care of us. If you are in the area and looking for a great optometrist; I strongly recommend Dr. Buffo.

One word. Awesome. I was looking for a new optometrist here in town and found this little gem on Unilocal.I am so glad I did. The wonderful receptionist, Monica, got me in ASAP, and I was so glad! The office is so cute. Similar to a boutique. Dr buffo was thorough, and explained exactly what I needed in a language I could understand (not doctor talk, lol). Then I got to pick glasses! Fun! He has SO many choices! For all price ranges. Let’s just say, I’m so glad I found this place!

I haven’t been to the eye doctor in a few years and decided to try this place. This office is exceptional! I walked in, filled out paperwork which really only took one minute. I was then taken back right away to start the tests and waited one or two minute to see the doctor. I picked out glasses and was out in less than one hour. I will tell all my family, friends and co-​workers!!! Thanks for the great service.

I have been a patient of dr Buffo since he opened his office in Camarillo. I would not have my eyes checked by just anyone. Dr Buffo is through and knows his stuff. He is friendly and makes you feel welcome in his office. His office staff is also very friendly and accommodating. They make you feel like family. Give dr buffo a try you will not be disappointed.

I have been a patient for many many years. Today I called to see if there was any appointments available as I have had swollen eyelid for the past two days. The office was able to squeeze me in less than an hours notice to see the doctor. They fixed me up in no time and sent me on my way. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr Buffo and his staff for really helping me out in a short notice.

Look no further, Dr. Buffo is the best in Ventura County! He has been my doctor for over 9 years and many years prior to his opening of this office. I have never been steered wrong and always felt like he really cares about me. He is sincere, smart, honest, patient, and willing to make sure you leave feeling like you are taken care of. I’m very impressed with him and his staff and his selection of frames is first class. Their contact lens selection is great and I like that they are normally in stock or in my hands within a few days. Dr. Buffo is very friendly and professional and somebody that I can easily recommend to my friends and family. If you need an eye doctor, I whole heartily recommend making him your doctor and stopping by his office. As a long time patient of his, I can’t imagine every going to see anyone else because I know when I am under his care, I am always in capable, caring hands.

I look for two things in an optometry business, a good doctor and a good selection of frames. I get the most out of my insurance if I can get the frames at the same place as the exam. Boulevard has both covered. Dr. Buffo is fantastic, without a doubt my favorite optometrist in 21 years of wearing glasses. The two women who work the front are also great. They are always patient while I try on thirty or so frames and make them open every cabinet. They are also very thorough at making sure your new frames fit well. I have been coming here for about four years now and couldn’t be more pleased.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Buffo for 8 years now and we both really like him and his staff. We have both recommended him to others. He and his staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They have a great selection of glasses. We won’t be changing optometrists anytime soon! We will be taking our daughter there for her first eye exam this year as well.

Superb service and staff ! Great selection of glasses and sunglasses. But most of all Dr Buffo is an excellent eye doctor and a very nice welcoming person. He’s even great with kids. Look no further!

His staff is extremely genuine and will help you through the process of selecting frames, lenses, etc. I’ve been going to Boulevard Optometry for years and always leave feeling good about my visit. I had a little bit of a mix up with a contact prescription from an earlier appointment. But Dr. Buffo called and cleared up everything. I scratched my cornea the other day (and on my gosh that hurts like crazy!) and I called Dr. Buffo and he not only got me right in but didn’t even charge me due to the mix up earlier. I was hesitant to go, but I am glad I did. It’s nice to know that as a patient you are not only being taken care of but that your doctor has a lot of integrity. I highly recommend.

I was very disappointed by the service I received from Dr. Buffo and his staff. The doctor was friendly enough, but made a joke I thought inappropriate and had bad breath. While the exam he gave me seemed thorough, he missed a serious condition my regular Eye doctor had just discovered. When his office staff[they were VERY friendly], sold me a pair of glasses, they knew what my Insurance would cover, yet tried to steer me to more expensive options, in what I felt was an aggressive and dishonest manner. I will not go back.

I was a little hesitant to go to this optometrist only because I’ve been with my eye doctor for almost 7 years now. The only reason i came here was because it’s covered under my benefits at work. also, being that i couldnt find any reviews on this place, it made me a tad bit more nervous.
but Dr. Buffo and his staff are awesome. they are all very friendly and welcoming. being a new patient, i was expecting to have to wait a few days before going in to get an exam, but they scheduled me to come in the day after i called. the receptionist even offered to call the doctor for me if it was a real emergency.
