Redlands, CA
This location gets high marks from me because of its small market feel and very friendly employees. I don’t typically purchase baked goods or produce from grocery stores, and I don’t purchase deli items at all, so the fact that this store has a limited selection in those areas does not bother me. I like their brand of organic canned and bottled items (juices, condiments) as well as their snack items. Well stocked for a small store, which I happen to like. I hate wasting time roaming thru a huge grocery store filled with items I would never buy!

This is the worse Stater Bro’s I have shopped at. The store looks old and dingy. It needs ALOT of updating! I have asked for help finding stuff only to be told they don’t carry it, just to find it myself! The staff don’t seem to really care about their customers.

*** Pit stop review (Calimesa) ***
Time for a break to reload on water and snacks. This is a standard Stater Bros. It has been remodeled a bit with nice refrigeration units surrounding the perimeter of the store. It’s located in a sleepy area of town. The staff and store patrons are friendly. This makes for a nice safe place to make a pit-​stop off of the 10 freeway in the Calimesa area.
Freeway access = Close easy freeway access.
Shopping area = Clean & organized
Service = friendly
Restroom = unknown

This store is a bust. There’s never any staff after 8pm working the checkout lines and those stocking shelves don’t seem to know where any products are. I am sure they don’t, as they restock them, but they gave an attitude which isn’t anywhere near customer service. Unfortunately the same can be said for other staff, bar the more senior managers who seem to be resigned to slovenly attitudes and sloth-​like work pace.
I only come here for a few items I can’t get at Fresh & Easy and this place lets the Stater brand down.

Talk about great customer service. I am standing in the deli waiting for orange chicken (craving it badly) and they are making it fresh. That’s pretty awesome. It’s busy with all the last minute thanksgiving shoppers and they made the time to make something in the back for a customer.
There is no rudeness or wierd people here. Just a lot of busyness. It’s the only supermarket in Calimesa, what do you expect!

There are other Stater Brothers near by I never find what I’m looking for at this one. I always end up going to the on one Bryant in Yucaipa or a different store. I also wish they could have more Bakery goods.

I decided to stop in to their deli to purchase a vegi sandwich, because I wasn’t in the mood for another Subway sandwich, just getting tired of them.
Well, that was a mistake! This Stater Bros market has chased me back to Subway!
The service was horrible. Although there were two people there, they were too busy to take my order, even though I was the only customer at the counter, and then when one of them decided to help me, it was done so with attitude. I actually felt guilty for bothering them.
Subway, I’m sorry for turning my back on you. Please take me back. I’ve now realized the er of my ways. I promise to never turn my back on you again. Just please take me back, give me another chance. I was mistakenly wooed to Stater by their slick ads, and smooth talk. I was weak, (really really hungry). Also I admit I was wondering what it would be like to be with another sandwich place, but now I know it was wrong. I will never do this again, honest.

I started boycotting this store 3 months ago… awful service! Last time i went i left empty handed after standing in the express lane for over 20 minute. When their register froze, they did not bother to open a new line for us who had been waiting.

it seems like a pretty old place. not too big of a supermarket.
stater bros claim that their prices are low despite not having a ‘savings card’… i think i’ll have to disagree… i hardly see any good deals or sales whenever i go to stater bros… and i’m talking about basic products like milk, eggs, bread, meats, produce… not specialty items…
