Love swap meets, lots of items you can find cheap but obviously used. As long as the item isn’t horrid looking and the right price, then I may consider buying it. I found some useful things I’ve been wanting to get such as lamps and office chair at a bargain price. Yeah it took a while to go from vendor to vendor seeing which place offered the best for my needs and also asking if you can test it out first before burning yourself on a dud. With my findings I say I got one hell of a deal than what I would have bought it at from a retail store. I wasn’t desperate to buy new, as I mentioned early. If the item was working and in good condition I would definitely take it. Yeah most places its all messy and unorganized but that’s the gem of swap meets. Digging around and finding«treasure». Well that’s just my opinion, every one has their own view of seeing things. Aside from this. Its better to go early in the morning because by noon its really hot and some vendors have closed by then. Take some water, hat, and a cart if you planned to buy a couple of things to fit in it.

Free to enter but I guess there was a reason for that. Felt like I was at a trash dump. Nothing but junk… dirty and disgusting. Was majorly disappointed by this swap meet… will never come back.

The swapmeet has many shops, most things are used and not clean. most shops are not organized but you can find almost anything in that swapmeet. Most things are very inexpensive, but like all places they can have pricy stuff too. Almost no one has warranty on their items and you don’t get your money back either so be smart about what you buy. Vendors in swapmeets are not typically nice because they are tired of people haggering, but if you bring your patience and niceness you they will treat you MUCH better. the parking lot is terrible, it’s very hard to park so don’t think that you’ll find parking right away unless you get there like at 5 or 6 in the morning. it’s hot so bring a hat and a bunch of 1 and 5 dollar bills, nobody takes credit cards. If you ever make it to Calexico in the Imperial Valley, stop by early in the morning on Saturday or Sunday, they open everyday but not all the shops are open. There are many novelty items, Expect to find anything in there, make sure u use the restroom in ur home or a restaurant before you go because restrooms are not clean and are lines are long. there is no concrete or pavement so don’t wear sandals or high heels unles you can really handle the dirt on your feet or discomfort. Have fun, there are many things to see and buy, you’ll be surprised.

Good Stuff for low prices. May not be the BEST quality, but it sure beats paying $ 700MORE for furniture. Reminds me of the Flea Markets back home.
