I am hoping management see this as I feel like I would get looked at funny by the employees of this place if I said something about this. But I live close and would love for them to work these issues out. I’ve been going to Milo’s all my life. Matter of fact I opened the 2nd Milo’s downtown as an employee when I was 16 years old and worked there in High School. My Father was a regular at the original. I know Milos, Milo Burgers have dark grill toasted buns almost to the crunchy stage glistening with a layer of grill grease over the top, you open it and see a wonderful topping of finely diced onions and a couple of pickles smothering a couple of square patties sitting on a bottom of a bun that is also toasted. The fries have a generous amount of popcorn flavoring on them to the point you have to lick your fingers after you eat one. When you open the burger there is so much sauce you go through about 3 napkins before your done. THAT is a Milo’s experience. This store does not get that. I have made many trips to this store and tried again today. I think I’m done. Nice people, they won’t put ketchup on a plain burger for you as a service but will give you ketchup to do it yourself… ?? My Milo’s cheeseburger had a non toasted cold bun, sliced not diced onions(there is a difference) and a not even enough sauce on it to get the wrapper dirty. REALLY? Come on guys! So much potential. And NO popcorn seasoning on the fries! ZERO! Take all your employees to a real Milo’s and let them work a day. Let them learn how to dice and toast and shake! It’ll make it a better place and you may get customers back like me you didn’t even know you have run off.

The burgers are low end meat with a ton of bbq sauce. I would never return for that, however the Chicken Tenders and Double-Oh sauce were incredible. Fries pretty good as well. So 5 star chicken, 1 star burger = 3 stars!

Great chicken tender and burger place! Clean and friendly service. Their special sauce is a bbq type sauce and get the double o sauce its a mix of their sauce and homemade ranch super yummy! Their crinkle cut fries have a special salt that is delicious too.

This was our first visit to a Milo’s. We have a friend who says Milo’s is his all-time favorite restaurant, so we wanted to try it. I’d previously only had Milo’s tea from a grocery store. My wife got a chicken Tender Snack, and I got a Cheese Burger with new Bacon Combo. I give the burger a four, and the fries four and a half. However, I’ll rave about the chicken: Their new Tenders, and original Chicken Sauce were both excellent! Service is very fast. Milo’s Hamburgers was Birmingham’s original burger joint in 1946. I dare say their chicken is now better than Zaxby’s across the street. This Milo’s is just off I-65 at a US31 exit in Calera. Southeast corner. It is at the intersection of Limestone Way and Limestone Parkway.
