Had the biscuits and sausage gravy with hash brown potatoes and a sausage patti. Not good. Sausage was burnt, gravy tasted bad and biscuit had no flavor. Hash browns were just OK.

Wow, it’s like finding a rare diamond in the ruff! The view is awesome and you can see airplanes roll in and out.

Finally tracked this place down again at their new, off the beaten path location of upstairs at the Nampa Airport. Trying to find the place I asked several people(a couple people out for a walk, some drunks in a nearby bar and the beer delivery guy) and none of them had heard of this place! Same great food and friendly staff.

What a great day for a new Valentines breakfast. With super views of of runway of Nampa Airport. You’ll have to take time to enjoy your generous portions while mingling with local pilots

This place needs a review and I’m glad to be able to give it. In the summer of 2011 I did a bicycle trip from Times Square in NYC to the Oregon coast with a friend of mine. Riding up steep hills, mountain passes, and into head wind can take a lot out of you so each time we stopped to eat we were looking for two key criteria. 1.) Cheap… we were recently graduated college students with no current income and a tight budget. 2.) Calorie laden… this often meant big breakfast options, burgers, shakes, etc. While riding along into Caldwell my friend spotted TNT’s and at this point we had become pretty good at spotting places that were maybe diamonds in the rough. From the outside it just looks like your typical diner. On the inside you find that it’s your typically awesome diner. Fun and silly décor that feels like mom’s dining room and the essential element of any great diner, a counter top with bar stools where you can sit with the locals and chat over cheap coffee while reading the newspaper during your wait on the food. The service was absolutely outstanding as this place is run by two sisters who own it and clearly take a great pride in delivering food that is done right. Today’s special was a Chicken Pot Pie that would intimidate even the hungriest of appetites. We also tried a burger which stood out as being of good quality despite having eaten so many nondescript burgers over the previous 60 days. Lastly we finished our meal with a handspun milkshake which was everything I could have ever wanted to compliment the meal. Overall, highly exceptional service and an attention to detail in their food preparation makes TNT’s a place that need not be skipped over.
