I went to the convenience store side of the truckstop where someone would pay for fuel or grab a quick cup of coffee and the old man with glasses who was the cashier was extremely rude and extremely chauvinistic… I never have been treated so rudely… I am a truck driver myself and I don’t need to be treated badly just because I am a woman. I will not be back here and I will definitely be going to Pilot’s across the street at least there they are really kind and super in customer service.

I ate here today and was taken back at how cheap it was! Nice portions, too. I had the chicken fried steak(see photos) with mashed potatoes with gravy. I didn’t know it, but I got steamed veggies and a roll, too! My boyfriend ate a big burger and fries. I get the ticket and it was under $ 20! The staff was very friendly and had bright smiles. This was a very good restaurant. I am a fan!

We love this place! Only thing stopping me from 5 stars is the mashed potatoes! Seriously yummy chicken fried steak… Made the old school way tender & crispy! Then there’s homemade soups(they run out quick), pies, jams, dressings, biscuits, & other goodies! They even have good spaghetti & garlic bread. I was shocked! The staff always makes you feel like you just walked into mom’s house! I am a mashed potato nut & my feeling is you have all this great food why make mashed potatoes that taste so instanty? O well! They got great hash browns, bake potatoes and potatoes O’Brien instead. Give them a try! You will leave satisfied, with a smile & not have broke the piggy bank! O & try the hot chocolate with your pie. My top recommend after the biscuit & homemade jams!

So good. Every time I pick up a load in Idaho I gotta stop here for breakfast. Can’t go wrong with chicken fried steak.

I’m not sure why this place gets 3 stars. The service was great. My husband is a truck driver so we eat all over and by far the best breakfast ive had in a long time. This place was great and the prices are reasonable. This morning I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, it was delicious.

I ordered the meatloaf sandwich i received a piece of garlic toast with a tiny piece of meatloaf on it covered in a gallon of gravy. Waste of $ 7 next time I’ll walk across the street to burger King

Tried the Sage Café for the first time. There was plenty of parking. The sign at the door said seat yourself. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly hello. My waitress was there in just a few seconds and brought a menu a water. The restaraunt was clean but could use an upgrade. It reminds me of something from the 80’s. I ordered a French dip on sourdough with cheddar cheese and fries. The order came rather fast. The sourdough was saturated in butter and was grilled. The meat was deli thin with a minimal amount of meat. The flavor of the meat was overshadowed by the butter on the bread. The fries were freshly cooked and flavor was ok. All in all not a bad meal with a soda for less than $ 10.00. Service was outstanding.

No idea why people are giving this place less then 3 stars. My husband has been trucking for 20 years, I have been to a lot of truck stops. This café is cute, staff is friendly and food is amazing. I think those people need to revisit since it has been a few years ago :-). We went back twice, great place! Also truck parking has a lot of parking!

This is your standard truck stop diner. Hearty meals and lots of greasy food. It’s inexpensive and about what you would expect. The restaurant looks a little run down, but was relatively clean and the servers were efficient but often distracted.

I am a connoisseur of egg and cheese sandwiches. The one I ate here was the greasiest one I’d ever had – the bottom English muffin was saturated with liquid when I got it. Now, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it turned out to be when I felt sick a short while later.
