I should’ve guessed that our stay would be less than comfortable when we stood at the front desk for a very long time waiting to be checked in. There was only one couple in front of us but the phones were ringing like crazy and the guy behind the counter was beyond frazzled. After checking in to our VERY small room, I stepped on a wet spot on the carpet. The fridge was unplugged and had defrosted leaving water all over the floor. This was because the refrigerator door was broken and would not close. I grabbed the last tissue in the box in our bathroom. I mean really you couldn’t put a new box in there?! And since we didn’t have a fridge we used an ice box to chill some wine. We called down to the front desk for a cork screw and the guy said he had one. When we got down there to get it from him he couldn’t find it anywhere. We were also told there would be wifi. Sure I could see the network but couldn’t connect ANY device to the network — tried 2 cell phones, a laptop and a tablet. So much for wifi. And the pillows were the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever laid my head on. Needless to say I did not have a very good nights sleep. To add to the the cleaning crew was up at the ass crack of dawn. My door had the«Do Not Disturb» sign on it and what woke me up at 6 am was things being thrown into my door or scraping across it. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. If you decide to stay, stay at your own risk.

Very affordable hotel, and very nice staff. I stayed there over the Christmas holiday, and enjoyed it very much. They offer a free breakfast in the mornings with an alternating hot item(bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles) in addition to fruit, bagels and cereal. Coffee is also available throughout the day. They had a huge tv in the room that we never switched on(too much family fun!) But they had plenty of outlets for phone chargers. We’ll probably stay there again later this year.

Best place to stay in Watertown area for the price. Clean rooms, fast internet, and decent free continental breakfast. Use Priceline express deals to book and you can get a room for around 33 bucks a night.

Not a very good experience. Check in went great. Rooms were a bit small but clean. Very very noisy hotel. I listened to my neighbors television all night, people in the hall way and the people above us every move. If you want a good night sleep an are a light sleeper not a place for you.

By far the plushest Microtel I’ve ever stayed in. The room is larger than even other hotels, and easily double the size of your typical Microtel. It’s rather on the pricey side, but I’m sure that’s due to location by the Fort Drum entrance. Reasonable value if you’re splitting a room with someone, certainly. Very clean, quiet, everything worked well. The free breakfast is uninspiring, but you get what you pay for…

Friendly and helpful staff. Free continental breakfast. Easy check-in and check-out. Very clean and comfortable. The rooms are small, however they are very efficiently designed and include everything you need for a comfortable stay.
