Offered a service package for $ 34.99 that included a long list of services, among them cleaning coils and flushing out the condensation lines as well as adding fungicide. These were the things that needed to be done so I double checked with the lady on the phone because the price seemed really good for everything they were promising. When the tech arrived the price jumped to $ 80 right off the bat. On the phone it was a good sales pitch, too bad it was not what was promised.

I have to say that I’ve been unhappy for a long time with air conditioning companies but to my surprise I found that there is such a thing as a good company out there this company being direct heating and cooling technician Joe Mateo and Diango Matinez were at my house 2 days ago while I was having a problem they were both able to accommodate all my needs did a great service and left me no doubt that I should stay with Direct heating and cooling they are truly a good company to have on on your side always there when you need them thank you Direct and thank you Joey and Diango because of you guys professionalism and dedication to a good service I am now happy Again and so is My wife. thank you thank you direct heating and cooling.

The most horrendous AC company to do business with! They came out and serviced the AC unit in a house we just bought, and the AC would not work a day later(they forgot to clean the humidity water discharge line). When they did not respond to my call, I contacted a neighborhood company(Symbiont Service Corporation, Inc.), who came right out. An inspection of our complete system showed leaking coolant in addition to the blocked discharge line. The owner said the unit in the house needed to be replaced, and that the previous tech should have noticed the problems. Symbiont said that they could make weekly service calls to replace the coolant, but that I was running the risk of the unit completely failing in the interim. I called Matthew Poteet, the General Manager of Direct Heating and Cooling, who said that they did nothing wrong. He also said that they charged $ 1,295 for a UV light that they did install, and which anyone can buy on-line for $ 495.00. He said that is their policy. He offered me $ 400.00 of my $ 2,095 back for my trouble, I declined and will pursue legal recourse. If I could give them no stars, I would.

They have always found something wrong when visiting. My older mother in law had a Mntc acct. they scare her into something high pressure each time. I have other companies come and not find what they find. Removed pieces and filter and not replace. Tried to pressure into new unit but wouldn’t leave estimate for me to see. No return call from manager after two requests. SCAMARTISTSFORSURE.
