Ordered General TSO Chicken. The meat was chewy and fatty. Pork in the fried rice was no better. Ended up throwing it all sway. Will never go there again. Save your money and stay away.

The pork fried rice is really good. Service is a little better than some other local Chinese restaurants. Their lunch special includes a free drink but EVERY time, you have to remind them. They have good food.

We had a late lunch so we ended up wanting something to eat again just after 8:15pm tonight(Sunday). My husband wanted to try something close and suggested China Express II. We ordered Dragon and Phoenix(12.99) and Shrimp Szechuan Style(11.25). My husband suggested we eat in their dining room. After ordering we realized this is much more of a take-out place and after looking around I wish we had ordered the food to take with us. The place could use a good cleaning. The food was disappointing. Both dishes were listed as spicy. The shrimp in the Dragon and Phoenix had no seasoning and were tiny. The vegetables dominating this portion of the entrée were diced carrots and peas from a frozen food bag. This is not what was pictured on the menu. The beef portion of this entrée was better but still not A-Okay. The sauce on the Shrimp Szechuan Style was unlike any I’ve ever had. It tasted like bad brown gravy with a couple shakes of red pepper flakes. The shrimp in this dish were large and plentiful. It just didn’t taste good. Final Assessment: We can’t suggest this. We ended up walking away from a sizable portion of our entrees.

Unfortunately this was the worst chinese meal we have had. Ordered beef lo mein and mongolian beef combination platters. The beef was truly unedible and grossed us out. Very chewy and fatty. The flavor of the dishes was straight up horrible, and the sauce for the mongolian beef tasted very weird. The pork fried rice is not fried rice at all. This meal was terrible enough to inspire me to write my first review ever.

Terrible. Not a single staff member speaks clear english. There were 3 groups of people outside myself waiting for food and we all stood there clueless as they called out the order. Other customers were shaking their heads and whispering how they will never come there again. When I went to place my order the young woman kept saying chicken lo mein after I basically shouted BEEF, that went back and forth 4 times. Then when I asked for Kung pao shrimp she said they didn’t have any shrimp. I repeated what she said to confirm and she said only shrimp in a large order. How does that work? So I ordered a large order and got 4 pieces of BABYSHRIMP. I basically paid $ 13 for sliced green pepper and onions. And as for the other customers, one of their orders was completely wrong. The girl wanted pork fried rice and she was given crab rangoons. No one in the restaurant had even ordered those. So odd. Will never EVER eat here again. Even if it was the last place open!

Have been going for three years now. I have never had a bad order or bad food. DELICIOUS — filled to the brim and piping hot every single time. Great prices and awesome service! One time they did forget our egg rolls and we called right away, no question– order was replaced the next time without hassle. I love this place my husband and I get Chinese cravings a few times a month and this is our go to place. Seriously this place deserves more love.

Dishonest food. Anything you order no matter what the menu says is mostly cheap vegis. onions etc. battered proteins are 90% batter. Sesame chicken etc is the only semi-good item. Shrimp is skimpy. Most items have a runny sauce that tastes about the same for every dish. its bland and has a slimy texture. Food is subpar at best. Keep looking.

We just moved to the Cape Coral area 3 months ago. We have tried a few of them — not so good.(Orient Express was awful!) So we decided to try China Express. They were there VERY fast and the food was absolutely delicious!!! The Crab Rangoon is to die for!!! :) Highly recommended!

Wow what a bad place. I ask for plain white rice &EXTRA hot pepper for Szechuan beef. I got neither! The rice was brown in color I guess because of soy sauce. The portion was not very big. And no hot peppers to be seen.(I was VERY specific on hot pepper.) They were fast, nice english not so good. NO soy sauce was given to go and the hot sauce was a mexican pepper.(Cayenne.) But being Florida I guess they will stay in business because the speeding, tailgating, yakking on cell phones, Floridians who has no idea of GOOD Chinese food will stay in operation.

The first thing I have to say is that MSG is apparently a staple at this particular restuarant. If you have issues — like me – be very careful. Many of the items on the menu can be ordered without MSG, but all soup has MSG. On our order: Sweet and Sour Chicken Wonton Soup Boneless Spare Rib House Fried Rice There were three of us in the group that were eating. I didn’t touch the soup. I tried one of the spare ribs and thought it was nothing special. I didn’t like the fried rice at all. That left the SS chicken with some white rice. The sweet and sour sauce is one of those items that has MSG, so my meal mainly consisted of fried chicken nuggets and white rice. So why the three stars? I actually tasted the sweet and sour sauce a couple of times. It is one of the better ones I have tasted in quite a while. Oh well, I might not return due to this being MSG heaven, but I could definitely eat the sweet and sour chicken again.

All you can eat Chinese food. Just like in California. Just like in New York. Just like in Tulsa. The basics: crab, shrimp, sushi, duck, ice cream, coconut cakes, chow mein, jello, ginger chicken, dim sum pork, BBQ beef, chinese chicken salad, it goes on and on. I really like this place but everyone that I take here always says the same thing, It’s good but only this one time. Maybe I”m different but the food is not the highest quality and I accept that for what it is. I’m not looking for Chef Chu’s in Los Altos. It’s bottom line Chinese food that is just the same as all of the other all you can eat Chinese restaurants. I don’t mind that because I see it for what it is, inexpensive, filling and tasty. A-OK
