Stopped in here after another bait shop was pretty rude. Asked the same questions and received useful information. Picked up some live bait that was in excellent condition. A few hours later we landed a small snook from our dock. Wish they were closer to my home but cannot fault them for that.

Best bait and tackle shop on the Cape. Captain Rob is knowledgable and very helpful. His new store is well supplied and you can count on Captain Rob to be able to answer your fishing questions. Great guy, great bait shop.

If you are looking for anything fish related, Capt Rob’s your man. And yes, there really is a Cap’t Rob, no foolin’ Hooks, maps, live bait, advice, boat rentals, poles, line, nets, anything and everything on Del Prado Avenue is yours to see at ol’ Cap’t Rob’s. Cape Coral is the center of the fishin’ universe so the bait competition is steep but the Robster is well known and well respected cause he knows his stuff. He’ll hook you up for snook, perch, sea trout, tarpon, snapper. Whatever the ocean has to give, he’ll help you reel it in. Too bad the price of gas is so high now, that really cuts down those old dudes who would go out 30 miles for fish. That would add up to about $ 700.00 plus to fill the boat. Might as well stock up at Publix.
